Hey all :)
Anyone noticed the super hype on winningelevenblog.com
They even got their forums editor who deletes every possible negative comments about the hype and talkes bad language to those who do. After watching them for a while and listening to their podcast itīs very noticable how every little thing is hyped up as much as possible and those who just second guess the hyped info from Konami about Pes2011 is banned from the website. Itīs a bit creepy I think.
So my question is... Is Winningelevenblog.com accepting payments from Konami to increase their hype for Pes 2011?

I think Pesfan.com is the Official site and maybe winningelevenblog.com itīs suspicious how much effort they put into hyping the game up. Maybe they are not officially owned be Konami but I smell some strange things about their attitude. Itīs just looks like from my point of view that winningelevenblog.com are very influensed to say great things about Pes and Konami and the effort they are putting into their page is impressive, almost like being paid to do it.

You were probably misled by that "Official Konami PES Feedback Zone" which was about the only potentially official we've ever had but I'm not even sure they even visited it.
PESFan is the only known official site.
W.E.N.B is definitely not owned by Konami.

Dunno if they are on the payroll, but its gotta be the most pathetic pes site going, the mods and admins on there are fucking pathetic, adam is just a konami cockwhore who lost any sense of dignity a long time ago, it will take life threatening surgery to remove him from the inner walls of seabass's anus. Suff aint so bad for a guy with an IQ of 90 max.

Evo web is good, and last year they did a superb job leaking information out to fans before wenb got it which is great. See wenb love to string the fans along with all kinds of retarded hints on major improvements to the game which are false and unfounded. The truth about wenb is, they dont know much more about the game than the rest of us and this was proven last year when they were way off with their predictions of how good the game was going to be. And that because its propagandist tripe, they sold out their indepedance to be a konami mouthpiece.
Its a site for fantasists, not reality, reality is pesgaming or evo web.
And if konami really wanna know how to improve the game, they will check these boards, because people like me will tell them fuckers how a footy game is really made, if they need a bunch of knobeds blowing cum bubbles at them, then wenb is where they will be.

You might think it is... But trust me WENB is not owned by Konami.
It's just Adam, who is one of the WENB team and he totally loves PES and can't get enough of the news and he gets all hyped.
So no, WENB is not owned by Konami. I think WENB is the best source to get PES news :)
*By the way, i've got nothing to do with WENB in terms on Moderation or Administration. I've been following the site since 2007 and they just love PES just like I do. WENB just get a little to over excited sometimes, but other than that they are awesome :)

Mate, its very simple, what kind of site bans members for critising pes or because they challenge the owners opinion??? seriously.... Its pathetic, ive seen members go on this piece of shit board to express their opinion on why the series is a pile of horse manure since pes 6, and these knobeds dont allow it.
No question about it, its in konami's pockets and thats it, what goes on, on that board, totally defeats the object of having a forum and alot of people feel that way too this why threads like this are created.
That site is full of shit and most of the analysis on there is pure pants imo, this was the site that promised mind blowing news for last year.. and in the end the full release of pes was garbage as usual, they make frequent hints towards in the lnclusion of a new game engine which havent happened, and they just overrate the game in general, listen to this weeks podcast where adam starts gunning some bloke just because he made a fake pes video, then started gunning eurogamer for daring to critize pes, and then started yapping on about how close the site was to konami etc etc.
The guy is just delusional, in the big scheme of things, Konami couldnt give a toss about this muppet and his 2 bit forum because despite him bending over for them at every opportunity, the games are still a pile of garbage, wenb have a lot less influence then they would like you to believe imo. Konami just use them as a mouthpiece for promotion.

I really dont think the guys at WENB are stupid, I have listened to their podcast for some time and they deffo have an IQ above 90 :) That´s why I started to get suspicious about WENB. All this "hallelujah, hallelujah, Konami is the son of God" feeling is so ridiculous. And dont get me started on the members on the forum at WENB lol, :) they are a complete joke, it wouldn´t suprise me if most of them are not above 15 years old though. That might explain the hallelujah syndrome.

You are 100% right about them. I did just what you planned to do...registered and went against the grain.
A so called independent journalist Penpas was giving feedback on the progress of the game so far and stated that the game was the best. He was asked if he thought it was better than Fifa ...but couldn't answer the question. I stated that he should be able to give an answer because his first statement was also an opinion.
I was banned for trollin (saying bad stuff about PES) within a couple of days. :D.
I just went there to shake up the dream walkers. Adam and Jon Murphy are being compensated yearly for making these really false statements about the improvements that are not there.

It wouldn't surprise me. Adam does the same thing every year. Hype up pes and then backtrack after it's released. Only to do the same thing over the next year. Probably on the payroll.

WENB have 1 thing going for them tho...their presentation is very good. I like the way they present their 'news' on the home page with pics and all, and there's something new almost every day! But I agree they are too much 'pro' PES.

For an "independent" site I would expected far more honesty instead of endless hype and dishonest reviews (PES2008 8/10 on the PS3 according to Adam, secret versions only Adam and Suff have played etc.); equally I would expect far more diversity of views in an honest forum. After all who has not noticed that the PES fanbase has been VERY divided over the series and its development in the "next-gen" era.
WENB however also no diversity of views or honest debate; simply variations on how great Adam and Konami are. It goes way beyond a "positive" vibe. Rather WENB seems far more like some creepy cult. The average WENB admin seems to defend the site and Konami as through it was their religion and they are the most fundamentalist fanantics around.

Wenb on the whole deserves no respect, every now and again you get the odd bit of common sense outta them, but they deny their own fans free speech and have been deliberatley misleading fans for years, they have a genuine agenda to raise the sales of PES regardless of how shit the game is, which alone tells you they are not truly independant of thought.

End of, this is exactly one of the reasons why wenb is a joke, like i have said before, so what if they get it right this year, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

People get banned on WENB for saying what their heart tells them without bad language. Iīv seen that myself. On the WENB boards people can say as many bad things as they want about any Pes game out there but when it comes to any upcoming Pes game itīs a diffirent story. You see G7SEV, they hype every upcoming Pes game to the sky. Why is that?
The guys at WENB are mature people acting like 13 years old, they are not stupid at all, quite bright if you want my opinion :) so why do they hype the game up like that when they have almoust nothing to back it up? One teaser, some info and one out of focus screenshot is all they have. These little things tell us nothing on how Pes2011 is going to play.
