I'm more concerned about features, ball physics, referees and lob-prone 'keepers more than this.

I'd push this into the back of the long list that has been generated easily. I've never been bothered about graphics on a football game, I was gutted when PES upped their graphics because it was a cheap and lazy way of trying to sell their game. They didn't actually fix or overhaul the gameplay.
