Seriously, does anyone watch TNA Impact? I've gotten into TNA a lot more than WWE this year. Mainly because WWE now get the referees to clean the wrestler's blood while Jeff Hardy takes a fireball to he face.
I watch it. I enjoy the wrestling, but storylines are pissing me off. Too much Hogan and Abyss shit, imo. And they love to take a lot of unnecessary shots at WWE.
They need to just concentrate on their own promotion and try to put on a decent PPV for once.
Flair and Anderson are great though.
The ECW angle is kinda interesting. I'm sure Raven, Dreamer and Foley have one last big match in them. Doubt it'll be as good as ONS though.
I lost interest when they went back to taping shows. Though I did stream a bit of the last PPV when Madison Rayne wrestled in flesh coloured attire. The quality of the stream made her look fully naked on more than one occasion. :joel:

I agree with Hogan and Abyss. I'm sick of seeing Abyss as well as Hogan always needing to get some camera time. Also it seems Hogan has a lot of say in what goes on with a lot by pushing guys like Rob Terry ahead of someone like Matt Morgen who is brilliant. He really should have held onto the tag team belts himself longer than he did then have him lose to Hernandez + partner (possibly Homicide) or at least Hernandez intefering. Anderson's promo at Sacrifice (I think) where he started his asshole gimmick was brilliant but I want him to become heel again. The tag team matches are pretty good. Would love to see Generation Me against Motor City Machine Guns cause they had a cracking match at Destination X then all of a sudden they are hardly on Impact.
As for storylines, right now I think they have too much mystery with Abyss talking about 'They' what Sting's motives are. The ECW guys showing up at TNA (although that one looks to be explained) and Samoa Joe's abduction.
Flair has been excellent in TNA, he almost looks insane but I don't like how Jay Lethal has been getting over the likes of AJ Styles, Kazarian, Desmond Wolfe and Beer Money.
I'll wait to see how this ECW angle works out but at the moment I think Rob Van Dam has been a boring World Champion.
What's sad is if TNA actually concentrated on themselves and used the talent they have at their disposal properly, they'd be a great alternative to WWE.
Their problem is that they want to be better than them. Hogan's came in with his ideas, brainwashed Dixie Carter into thinking they will soon be on par with WWE and it's all gone tits up. Not just Hogan's tits either.

You think that is bad? Watch The Pope vs Orlando Jordan match from the same night.

Good post. Agree completely.

I'm also a big TNA fan as of late. Motor City Machine Guns & Beer Money have definetly raised the bar in terms of Tag wrestling. Worth watching for them alone.
Yeah, that series was the best thing in tag team wrestling for YEARS.

Everyone of those Guns/Beer Money matches was fantastic. The only bad thing I would probably say is I didn't like the finish in the last match (Guns performed Skull and Bones and only got a 2 count so they got him up and repeated Skull and Bones to win).
I'm also kind of glad that Rob Van Dam isn't champion anymore. As much as I like him and what he's done, he was kind of a boring champion. I dunno what they are going to do with Kurt Angle in for a title shot as I was looking forward to him climbing up the ladder to eventually winning the title - although I would have probably prefered AJ Styles being the champion for Angle to face against.
Contains slight spoiler for Bound for Glory:
After the match, Jay Lethal leaves the ring and heads into the crowd celebrating with his title. Robbie E. of The Shore appears and takes him out. Cookie is also there. Robbie tosses Lethal over the guard railing and back into the ring. Robbie drops Lethal with a big clothesline and then gives him an RKO. He gets on the mic, “Lethal bro, you are a disgrace to Jersey my dude.” Robbie puts the X Division championship over his shoulder and says, “After I win this X Division title bro, I’m bringing it back to Jersey, blinging it out and I’m going to add some class to it, just like Robbie E. and Cookie.” Cookie adds, “Jersey is in the house bitches.” They stand over Lethal and fist pump.
Thank God I don't watch TNA.
Bound For Glory:
I'm done. Abyss has been harping on about "they" for months and it turns out to be heel Hogan, Bischoff, Jeff Hardy and Jarrett. Fuck off.
Jeff as a heel? To be a heel you need to have tendencies and be able to deliver strong promos.
Jeff is too liked and his moveset is something to pop for. It's going to fail so bad. I like Jeff, but him as a heel is something I don't want to see.
Plus he is getting fat like Matt. That has nothing to do with this, but I get to post this:

Checked out what the main event was at Turning Point. :cringe:
lol.
I read the spoilers and was glad that I didn't watch it.
Holy shit TNA :lmao:
Sting could have been wrestling the Undertaker at WrestleMania, but instead he stuck around TNA and wrestled Jeff Hardy in a main event PPV...
... That was not even 2 minutes long.

Edit: It gets better. The reason why it ended to quickly, is because Jeff was too high to compete
Joke promotion.

Fucking big shame what's happened to TNA over the past year. It really did look like it was going to be 'the new WCW' but shit. Baddar said it right, Hogan was so convinced he could topple the empire, and maybe now realises that he's atleast partly responsible for majorly fucking up a promotion that did have limmitless potential, but is now pretty crap.
My prediction is, in another five years all the big names will have jumped ship and it'll either go small or go bust.
EDIT - Is that really why it ended so quickly? Unbelievable Joel.
I didn't watch it, but this is what the dirtsheets and other forums are saying. He came out stumbling around, walked around the ring for ages playing with his t-shirt, Sting is looking pissed off. Bischoff came out and announced something about the match.
He gets in and Sting hits the Scorpion Death Drop and pins him. Jeff is trying to kick out, but Sting is literally holding him down. It seems like it was an improvised ending that Hardy didn't know about. 1 minute and 30 seconds.
Crowd is chanting bullshit and as Sting walks up the ramp he nods and says "I agree".
TNA could have just replaced Hardy and gave that crowd and people watching a real main event, but no, they allowed that crap. I'm glad I don't watch that shit anymore.
WWE may not be anywhere as good as it used to be, but it still is 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, 000,000,000,000 x better than TNA.

Jeff Hardy is at the 'beyond an embarassment' stage now.

So true he put it twice! It's a shame really because when he behaves, he's an awesome performer. With WWE's PG and family freindly angles then he's shut the door on ever returning.
So there was also a first blood match, and the camerman zoomed in on Hernandez blading for the finish?
Keep up the good work Russo.

I just watched the Hardy match on youtube after reading about it here. That was seriously depressing.

Early TNA was abortion central but at least it was entertaining. This is just foul waddery. It was Sting I felt sorry for, you see his disgust with Hardy's lack of professionalism.

Cheers brutha.
Heard a rumour this was a work (we know what Russo is like) though I doubt it. If anything, that would make it worse.
^ Yeah, it would be worse, because then they would have robbed peoples money with no care.
Read the spoilers and was disappointed that no one buried Hardy on the mic. I heard he has been suspended from two Impacts... Come on now.

I just fail to see how this would even be a remotely good work even if it was one though. The whole thing just stinks of utter shitness.
Jeff Hardy's face after the camera zoomed in following the pinfall though is hilarious. The 100% tell tale sign that he was high. No one is that good of an actor.

So true lol.
Sting did the correct thing though. He should never have been put in that position but you can tell by his face that he is disgraced by Jeff.
I wonder if Sting regrets signing for TNA now as opposed to jumping to the WWE.

Surely there's no way on God's green earth that that was a work? If so then TNA should just be abolished right away.
PS Just watched the video. It wasn't a work. You could see Jeff move his hand and try to kick out of the pin. Utter bullshit.
Oh TNA.
Kurt Angle is having a rivalry with Jeff Jarrett and Karen Jarrett - Angle's ex wife. And he has been saying that his mistress is going to show up soon for weeks.
TNA have only gone and hired Chyna as the mistress. Yup, Chyna.

I was so hoping for an Angle Slam through a pool table.
