Hey Lads
I just read on Evo-Web forum that "Konami has also released a number of new screens to accompany the trailer, and these reveal for the first time the new 'Stadium Edit' mode, that allows users to create their own home ground for use in the game".
Has anyone else heard about this??? Absolute massive bonus :w00t if correct (I am talking PS3 & 360). The screen shot I saw looked like a generic english stadium.
Cheers!

This is going to make PES2011 unstoppable if stadium editor for PS3/XBOX360 is true... very happy

I was completely 50/50 about whether to go with PES or Fifa for next year, but if I can make the Reebok Stadium on PES. There is only one winner!
That is of course if Fifa dont decide to just licence the Reebok for me. ;-)
I'm pretty sure that there will be major limitations regarding the stadium editor, and that the first version of it in PES11 will mostly be decorating stadiums to make them feel unique to specific teams by placing banners etc.
Who knows, my dream will be that they can incorporate a stadium builder to the extent that Madden NFL 04 did it, with options on different stands, grass options etc. That would be awesome! But let's wait and see!

I'd love to think we'll have control over everything eg stands size, shape, capacity etc but in reality I think you're right. I think in PES 2011 we'll just be able to change things like advertisings, banners, flags, grass etc rather than create a whole unique stadium.
I hope I'm wrong though!
To be honest not too bothered about stadium editor as its not really that visible when the game kicks off, being able to change/edit the grass will be cool though :)

you dont have to "live on a forum" in order to be up to date with information! its called reading! there is a thread on this already!!!
and it is true so the "if" factor is no longer relevant!!!
just wish they would release some more news about it!!!

Just stating it takes 5 minutes to quickly read through this forum for a title that says Stadium editor!
I like the idea that you can upload your own logo's etc!! i can see my life time after work being spent in editor mode again...... the MRS shant be happy! but pes is my no.1 love anyway hahah

What I am most surprised about, is that no one mentions adjusting pitch size for a specific stadium and team? This is something that would have a direct effect on gameplay as there are rather large differences in pitch size between different teams.
As much as I cant wait for this game, its embarrassing that konami have included paper balls and pumpkin heads but no net editor, they continually shoot themselves in the foot.

Totally agree... waste of development time IMO. Anyway moving on, I am getting pretty excited about the stadium edit mode but I have noticed in the latest pics of stadium edit mode you can't change the KONAMI 'Ad boards' :crymore: So lets say for me trying to create 'Goodison Park', I will still have these massive stinking RED KONAMI ad boards all around the pitch?? I am really really hoping that we can somehow edit these??
It would just seem a tad odd that they introduce this fantastic edit mode and leave us with these generic KONAMI ad boards which when in game make every pitch feel kinda the same :erm:

Does anyone know how many stadiums will we be able to create?
And if we will finally be able to change stadiums for french and dutch clubs?

Ad-boards are dynamic in the game [online updates advertising charity events and korean hatchbacks this year] so there's possibly a good reason you can't change the boards. It could also be that they are using purely Konami imagery because they can't officially show the stadium editor offering hooky logos.

Would be nice being able to import images for the adboards.

It would be nice to download something with alot of the stadiums on there. It will feel very personal i think. In master league. A 15k seater to start off .. nice

Where did you hear that you can´t edit adboards? I heard from a couple of people who got a chance to try it out saying that you could mmm...
So we can create 25 stadiums, is it finally confirmed?
Seems like a pretty decent amount considering.

They must be editable, because there's no way they'd default all boards to Seabass and not let you change them. The rafters part is interesting. Could have images of coloured balloons or sky, to make it seem like a glass roof.

Hey Nemisiskidd cheers for that - that pick shows us that all the 'advertising' space on the actual stadiums is able to be edited (which is fantastic), but what I don't think we can change is the actual KONAMI advertsing boards that run alongside the pitch (these are not attached to stadium). In that photo you posted you can just make out at the far end (to the left) the edge of a KONAMI board.
Hope that makes sense... I realise some people won't care that much because of all the other features PES2011 are offering us for editing - but those ad boards next to the pitch (depending on stadiums are electronic/scrolling or unchanging) will stay as they have been for PES2010 and we will be looking at massive flashing/static KONAMI signs :(

Think you may be right here dude.
Haven't read anything anywhere about the ability to edit nets which some people are mentioning in this thread!
does anyone know if we will be able to select a 'no stand' option, under stadium creator, like in FIFA Arena Mode?

Cheers Nemisiskidd, that was actually the article that first alerted me to the fact that we probably would not be able to edit the KONAMI ad boards - have a look at the first pic on that page... they are showing off the stadium editor and below is KONAMI ad boards running along the length of he pitch. Oh well until we hear some updated news on stadium editor I take it that we are stuck with the KONAMI advertising boards on every generic pitch we create
at least we have a stadium editor thow :)

Great news if definitely confirmed my friend.
I know Wikipedia is note the most reliable source but this is what they say, can´t wait!
"Stadium Editor: The stadium editor will allow you to create your own stadiums. You will be able to choose capacity (between 1,000-100,000), seat colours, edit the adboards and hoardings, edit the turf style (similar to PES 2008), edit the nets (loose or tight, shape and colour), edit the architecture and roofing to a certain extent including tunnel placement and choose whether there is a running track, plain ground, or grass around the pitch. You can also choose to bring the stands closer to the pitch and choose to have a cage similar to certain stadia present in Germany and other parts of the world. Once all that has been put together - you can now choose the setting for your stadium. You are given the option to specify a background layout, with a variety of both urban and rural backdrops. After that, you can also add a background image, with stock items including city scenes - and a mountain range that looks similar to the one seen in the background on the PES 3 intro.[6] With this tool it should be possible to recreate many different stadiums from all over the world with lots of variation in style. There are currently around 25 stadiums in PES 2011 (not all licensed ones). This is 3 more than PES 2010 which had 22. There will be a total of 25 slots to create stadiums giving you a grand total of around 50 possible stadiums."
iancurtis1980
29-08-2010, 00:28
So it would be:
25 stadiums already in the game as follows:
LICENSED:
Old Trafford
Wembley Stadium
Camp Nou
Santiago Bernabéu
Estádio da Luz
Estádio do Dragão
Estádio José Alvalade
El Monumental
Stade Louis II
Amsterdam Arena
Saitama Stadium 2002
Giuseppe Meazza
San Siro
Stadio Olimpico
UNLICENSED:
Konami Stadium
Estádio do Amazonas
Estadio de Palenque
Bristol Mary Stadium
Mohamed Lewis Stadium
Ville Marie Stadium
NEW STADIUMS:
Estádio de Escorpião
Estadio del Nuevo Triunfo
Rose Park Stadium
Stade de Sagittaire
Stadio Orione
We need to find out what these last 5 stadiums look like, any ideas?
Im getting that roof covered 100k seater stadium... oh yea

My fictional team play in an area behind my house and the stadiums in the game already never really looked like they belonged in the park area, so I'm really looking forward to making a 'home' for my team at long last.
I'll try to make the Emirates, too, if possible. I'd be surprised if they haven't put in stands that peak in the middle like the ones at Emirates do.

I´m asking this question since I don´t know if the following stadium is already in the game, or if it´s a created one.
To any of you that have tried it:
Do you know if we will have that type of stand on the far right of the screen in the stadium edit mode? that smaller type of stand in the right corner with the electronic scoreboard over it? many thanks.

Very good question :erm: - I recall this being a problem last year with at least one stadium in FIFA10 - they had the wrong sounding crowd for the size of the stadium (it was a bug well documented by a lot of players and by EA staff). Fingers crossed you are correct and PES have taken all this into account because a crowd of 10 000 sure sounds a shite load different to a crowd of 80 000

I'm sure I read somewhere on PESFan that ad-boards and hoardings can be replaced with your own custom images - only for stadia created in the Stadium Creator of course.
As for people deducing that you can't edit the 'Konami' pitch-side ad-boards because they're present in the latest screenshots, I wouldn't read too much into that. They have to show the Konami brand-name somewhere.

mmmm.... I really want to believe that but for some reason I don't reckon so  hopefully i am not correct and we can change those KONAMI boards... but every single shot from konami has them in it and I can just see them doing it because it is linked with online advert space. We shall see soon enough anyway!

Does anyone know anything about importing images as sky and surroundings outside the stadium!? I was thinking of building, Bloomfield Road, as Blackpool will feature this year on it and wanted to have the tower etc in the background to make it look more realistic, thou will I need to have a 360 degree image, rather than it repeating itself and having 4 towers appearing outside the stadium!?
