No way of uploading custom avatars?

I have looked around the options for 45 minutes and cant find a way of uploading avatars all you can upload is team flags, am i bad at lookin' or has someone made a silly decision and banned custom avatars cause loads of people have custom avatars.

forgive me I'm not good with cpu's but I was browsing the avatar section in my User CP and didn't see what you were talking about - I know about the level req's to get custom avatars - it's just that i've seen some folks with custom avatars/sigs with only 25-50 posts and was curious how they did it

I tried my hand at it, but the closest I got was editing a Notepad copy of my profile.. I heXedited a PC game once, but that's about as far as i've gone

i'm not whining or anything - i just enjoy figuring out how things work and modifying them

2 reasons..the site created new rules,only ppl have 250 posts can use custom avatar
ppl who joined earlier can use custom avatar..in my case is different that mod cut my post count..i'm the only legend in this site that has less than 250 posts
