I don't think it's warez if he can prove than he has the original game. Perhaps he's not looking for getting the game cheaply, maybe he just cannot patch the game.

That is true larsson, but like Zygalski mentioned most people that ask that type of question don't have the game. It's not difficult to get the game, or patch it or find a means to play it.

It's the whole "I have my sister's boyfriend's brother's original game who I am patching it for, but I have failed in all my attempts please send me a copy."

Like most will know I'll gladly help anyone with patching if my knowledge permits but I'm not one for pre-patched game, because when the latest super patch is released you will get another lot looking for more.
