View Full Version : Stadium Editor Possibilities

I know it's a little early for this but I'm planning on mastering the art of creating stadiums with the in-game Stadium Editor and will open a new thread in due time to receive request and post stadium formulas.
In spirit of getting a head start in finding enough real pictures of stadiums that will fill the (unofficial and unconfirmed) 25 slots for stadiums, I want to know which stadiums you would be more interested in having, aside from your home-town team.
Once I have a solid list of 25 stadiums I will post the list and once we have the game, we'll figure how stadiums saves are going to work.
I'll be adding to the list as I come up with them
In no particular order I plan on adding these stadiums:
- Stamford Bridge (Chelsea)
- Emirates Stadium (Arsenal)
- Anfield (Liverpool)
- White Hart Lane (Tottenham)
- Stade de Gerland (Lyon)
- Philips Stadium (PSV Eindhoven)
- Mestalla (Valencia)
- Allianz Arena (Bayern Munich)
- La Bombonera (Boca Juniors)
- Stadio Artemio Franchi (Fiorentina)
- Celtic Park (Celtic)
- Ibrox Stadium (Rangers)
- Estadio Omnilife (Chivas De Guadalajara)
- Stade Velodrome (Marseille)
- more to come...
What are your suggestions?

Tottenham are licensed this year and Liverpool aren't, so it's possible WHL has been added and Anfield remains with a different name or has been removed altogether.

And America?
Put Azteca, Chivas Stadium, Mineirao, La Bombonera...
And edit Konami Stadium to Maracanã
And Estadio de Escorpião to Morumbi.

I edit Konami Stadium to Maracanã and Estádio de Escorpião to Morumbi (only edit names) and i edit Estádio do Amazonas (brazilian fake stadium in PES) and create another fake stadium to anothers south american clubs)
And edit the name of Estadio del Nuevo Triunfo to Estadio defensores del Chaco (Paraguay)
I want to create Brazilian League A.

I'm trying to build a stadium list with more variation rather than concentrating on one part of the globe, but that's just personal preference, although I might go for the new omnilife chivas stadium because the team is licensed, but any stadiums of unlicensed or from teams that aren't in the game will have to be from champions league clubs that might not be in in the game or from possible created German teams.
For now I'll add the chivas stadium to the list, maybe estadio azteca but only if slots are available. I have also read that the monumental (river plate) is licensed in the game therefore is not on the list.
Keep the suggestions coming guys, thanks for the input

Random one i know, but what about the Rheinpark Stadium in Vaduz??
Went there a few years ago and it's totally different from all the big stadiums of the world with amazing background views!

@ Woodhead: Good thinking, I do want to include small stadiums as well but it would be more useful if those stadiums are of teams involved in either the champions league or the Europa league. Personally I like playing in relatively small stadiums like the Rasunda stadium for example back in PES 2009, sadly it was taken out.

What I want to know is if you add a image into the background (so behind the stadium i.e. buildings, mountains etc) how this will work? Will it just put the image in flat so from whatever end u look from you see the same background or will be place it as a 360 image?

Lyon
Marseille
PSV
Bayern
Juventus
Fiorentina
Atletico
Valencia
Celtic
Can't be bothered putting the names of each stadium. There the one's i would want the most as i feel the biggest clubs should take priority/ or teams who are in champions/ europa league. Don't have much knowledge of south american teams so didn't bother mentioning them

Agree another frustrating move taking out the Rasunda! Great stadium.

Why some of you are looking for Stamford Bridge is puzzling????? It's a tiny Shite ground .........
What about the Mestalla - Valencia?
Estadio Monumental of Guayaquil, capacity 90,000 people 4 largest in america and 10 in the world =)
Look at some of these dudes........http://picsicio.us/keyword/estadio%20monumental%20chile/

For relatively small stadiums, what do you guys think about these:
- St. Jakob-Park (Basel) [Champions League]
- AFAS Stadion (AZ Alkmaar) [Europa League]
- Parken Stadium (Copenhagen) [Champions League]

That's true..........But i would much prefer to beat them in a stadium that looks spectacular. I was only trying to give the 'Stadium editor' the opportunity to think about what's out there. I don't know how long it would take to edit a stadium, probably ages, but if the editor can come up with stadiums that look extra special, then..........

Probably everyone in here have their own favorite stadiums, I do really appreciate your input man, and did take a look at the stadiums on the link you posted, but I believe that any personal gripe you might have with Stanford Bridge or Chelsea, or both, are not enough to discredit Chelsea being in the champions league and usually being on the top 4 of the table in the league.
My team is ManU but I didn;t take out Anfield. My goal is to gave a list that would include the most champions league, europa league, and down the priority list are teams from the copa libertadores.
Also I know many will agree with me when I say that a stadium is not great because of their size, but because of their history

First of all, from what i saw (the few pics konami gave us) its not even possible to close the corners of your stadiums, you just got that 4 stands (south/north/east/west) no "south-west", "north-east", etc...
so, at that state of mind right now, you will just be able to create some kind of casual stadiums. but of course we have to wait for the final version, maybe its not that minimalistic.
some awesome guys in WENB forums started to create and think about flags and ad-boards that you can add to personalize the stadiums. there is already some huge, awesome work in progress.
By the way, first thing that i'm gonna built is the worlds most beautiful stadium, if you dont know, read the times, then u gonna know :-D

@ Chilli81: If option file makers again decide to create the german league I will certainly include the Signal Iduna Park (Borussia Dortmund) and the BayArena (Bayer Leverkusen) amongst the list of stadiums
You asked for input regarding stadiums and i tried to give you some ideas as to what possibilities there are - 'around the world'. It just 'might' take ages to edit a stadium on PES 2011 and i thought that if you could edit something spectacular, then don't you think it would be a bit more of a rewarding exercise? If your mind is made up of the stadiums your going to include for whatever reason, then so be it. Stamford Bridge or not - it's your decision, seeing as it's you who will be editing it.
Good luck. Can't wait to see them...........

good taste ;)
but the BayArena is also a modern day stadium with closed corners, so once again i think we won't be able to create stadiums like this. With the information we got at the moment, stadium editor is just a little gimmick and not useful enough to get good results.
ill probably edit some of the smaller stadiums into it, few generic ones like st.andrews, craven cottage etc....

Because I play a Master League in England league, Id rather have the 20 premiership grounds to make master League even more realistic..
plenty Euriopean stadia in the game anyway

Apparently we will be able to close the stands at each end corner of the stadium just as shown here on the pictures with they look to be made on the stadium editor so we can look to having considerable freedom in making stadiums, good news

damn you are right :) i remember that pics, but didnt recognize the closed corners, maybe i was too confused cause of that seabass orgy.
so there we got closed corners for the smaller stands, hope we can also do that with the bigger ones

Do you think it would be possibly to insert gifs images into the stadium editor mode? Cause im currently designing some moving clouds n backgrounds that i think would b great for the gameplay.

Im gona make the most stupidest looking staium in the world for my ml team because im obviously gona get them to be the NO.1 team on the the game but with the shitest stadium ever maybe one massive stand and the rest tiny without any corners built in

i agree but majority of the players are looking for a more realistic feel to the game rather than focusin on stupidity.
I want to make a dick shaped stadium

I can't belive no one has mentioned some of the most interesting Premier League stadiums? I'm far more excited at being able to create Craven Cottage, Bloomfield road, St James's Park and Molineaux then I am about creating Anfield and Stamforf Bridge.
