Is it me, or are free kicks much easier to take? I just played a quick match using Barcelona and scored 3 free kicks on default difficulty (professional I think?) using Villa. I don't know if the difficulty does make a difference on free kicks; nonetheless, all the free kicks went to one of the top corners. I scored from 20m (fairly easy, down + swerve and half shot meter), 28m (half shot meter swerve + up) and 35m (just above half shot meter, swerve + up).

I can't speak for everyone else, but I'm the opposite. I find it very difficult to take a respectable free-kick. I used to be a free-kick 'maestro' a few years back, but PES 2010 and now 2011 has saw my ability to take set pieces decline pretty rapidly. I prefer them being difficult mind as opposed to incredibly easy.

I guess you'll just have to see what everyone else says, but I've been having a hard time with them the last year or so if I'm honest.

I only scored 1 free kick so far. I still haven't gotten the hang of them yet.

Spanked the cross bar with a Xavi rasper that's about as close as I've gotten so far!

Oh yeah.

The closest I've came was just last match with Chivas striker "Bautista" (who I now love by the way), I was around 30 yards out and struck the outside of the post.

I've just the sense that scoring a free-kick will be very rewarding since I find it incredibly difficult. Maybe those who seem to score many free-kicks tend to do so with the likes of Barcelona, Bayern Munich etc. If that's the case, then fair enough and I'm more happy for it as it would seem to represent the reality of football more since it's more a struggle with players who have lower statistics in the set-piece department.

I haven't really got used to the freekicks yet,ive only scored one and that was abit lucky because the wall moved there heads.
I seem to be either hoofing them over or a feeble attempt straight into the wall.
Im not liking set piece freekicks at all when you're knocking in crosses ive not come anywhere near scoring and the ai is 10 times worse than me from set pieces:erm:

I managed a 27 m curling beautifully into the top left of the keeper with robben...
villa didn't jump in the wall...

Last PES game I played was 2009. I think the free kick's remind me of PES 5 or 6 (can't remember which one - it was the best game PES so far). Anyone managed to score under wall yet or far post? That would be cool.
