Includes
Corrected names for all Leagues, Cups and Players
Missing players from the DLC have been base copied and placed in created players section
Duplicate players removed from their national team spots
All Emblems and kits corrected for the nonlicensed EPL, La Liga teams as well as Palermo
Leagues Cups and Teams have correct emblems
Correct player shirt names for the EPL and major teams thanks to JackWhoBra's thread


NOT included
As always it is not my preference to make teams. That takes entirely way too long and since this is a base option file to go on there will be no Championship teams or Extra Bundesliga teams.
NO National Team kits will be done
Will not be adding stadiums in the first release.


I am open to suggestions for the file however keep in mind with such a short turnaround in releasing the file, crazy requests such as creating the belgian league or a complete championship is out of the question.

Count me in to contribute and use your OF for further editing with your permission. I'll be into stadium editing and assigning "appropriate" stadiums for teams. I'll create a thread once I have a better understanding on what's possible with the stadium editor based on what people comment with the european and uk releases, that way I'll be ready when the us version arrives.

Okay I am not sure how many US players are still on the site I have not seen my friends from years past who have turned my base option file into a better option file that the community have come to know and love. Listed below are things you will find in the option file. Launch date of the option file is up in the air however my goal as always will be release night, the day after at the latest (due to school/work responsibilities)

Will Include

If i feel inspired the most i may create will be 2 or at least start 2 like i did last year with Bayern and Werder.

I do have a dilemna however. due to being able to copy over information from my 2010 option file to my 2011 option file this will allow me to do names quicker. HOWEVER, every year after i complete my option file for everyone else I make two fantasy teams to play a master league with. ID really love not to have to create every player from scratch so these two teams WILL transfer over along with the players to my new option file. I will look into a way to set the players back to default and erase the team names so that they are not on the option file. I believe this will be possible.

I am open to suggestions for the file however keep in mind with such a short turnaround in releasing the file, crazy requests such as creating the belgian league or a complete championship is out of the question.

So I will have 11 days to collect info from the time pes comes out in England(october 8) and when ill get it here. i wish i could be cool like the english or european option file makers and get the game early to work on it. Since I usually get the US option file out first. Hell it would save me the time and trouble of having to call off work on that day to get it all done.

There seems to be lots of good info out there, especially with the national teams jersey, good quality stuff. Its hard to get it early for US, it would be nice if we get it once before Europe. I know you usually put the file out the first day the game comes out, and its always awesome, take your time you can put it out when ever, im sure no body is going to put it out after the first day, everyone waits for you .. damn cant wait for it!!

Great news mrgametight! We will be waiting patiently for your OF when the time comes. Anyway, if there still not an official konami update with transfers when you get the game, I suggest you(only a suggestion so that you don´t spend time with work that is going to be lost) not to do transfers and not to replace all the duplicate players at national teams yet because from what I know, at least at PC version, the teams are missing a huge amount of transfers and there will probably be a konami update with transfers very soon and that would reset all the registering information. If the PS3 version comes already updated, ignore my suggestion.

unfortunately for the US version our update usually comes out a month after the UK one. So we wont get an update until december. I am going to do it just for myself if anyone because after i release my base option file i start making my teams and start my master league. i never really do anything to my file after i release it. but we will see

It's that time of the year again, when everybody comes out their hiding places and start getting together to make pes better. Every year I install MRGAMETIGHT OF in my ps3 and it's great, Best in US. Mrgametight, how you been? just take your time making this OF, even if u were the last person releasing the patch i would install no other than yours and I think everybody in the US feels the same way.

thank you peru means alot. yes i generally hide from this forum after january to save myself from the never ending questions about what will i update next or will i do this or that lol the goal is still and always be the release date. if i had an advance copy this would be a lot easier to ensure. but getting editing done all in one day surely is a rough task, hopefully i am up for the task. only school or work that day will prevent it from getting done in a day

Glad to hear the US editing gurus (mrgametight, shady, and peligrini) are going to be working hard again on this year's installment...I'm trying importing this year (UK version) , but I loved using your stuff last year...I remember being sick as a dog last year when PES 2010 came out in the US and I spent 5 hours editing the EPL kits using JackWho's pngs and formulae...I can only imagine how much time and effort you guys put into completing an entire OF, and with all the additions this year (league logos, editing wipes during matches, stadiums, etc), you have your work cut out for you!...keep up the good work for us US players, as the OFs that you guys put together really make a difference in the overall enjoyment of the game :)

I probably will add some custom stadiums with the permission of Rainey over at WENB OF. I am going to again be using JACKWHOBRAs kit formulas emblems and pngs again this. I dont want to say that it will essentially be the US version of the WENB OF but I am using a lot of their parts with their permission thankfully.

As far as chants go Neilez i believe his name is, is going to release his yearly chant packs and I will put up the url to his thread on the first post once i get everything together. There you can access his chant packs and decide for yourselves what chants you want in the game.

Good news Bolivian. keep in mind that still will require you to do some editing for the new teams in epl and spain i think. but if things transfer over okay it should be good. what i am concerned with is if the players transfer over do their stats for 2010 overwrite the stats for 2011? or will it just import names...

So IMO the only things that will transfer over is kit codes/templates, and the PNGs.

I usually play the Winning Eleven, but this year i m in Canada so i will go for the US version. There is not alot of qualilty OF for US version out there, it looks like yours will be the best.

There arent bad ones for the US players its just that the UK and europe option file makers are larger in number. We dont have many US players here let alone ones willing to do the Option file. I use the same kits as Jack makes normally so everything is top notch. I think it will be a good one this year.

Welcome. Like I said my option file is just a basic one that anyone can use to expand further. I just edit all the stuff that can be and really don't make any teams at all. Depending on when the US version gets its DLC will depend on whether or not I will do transfers for the file or not. No sense wasting an hour doing it if 4 days later they release a DLC for us. Although history shows we get left behind by Konami and have to wait longer for ours than the europe versions.

depending on when i get the information and if i have to go to class that night of release will depend on whether i get it done release night or during the next day. It also will depend on what time my gamestop gets its copy of the game if its not til noon that day...even with the two and a half hour class i dont know if i can get it done in one day but will try. kits and uploading them is going to take the most time to be honest. the names and badges should take no time at all

Stadium Editor
2011’s most publicised editing improvement has been the ‘all new’ Stadium Editor - you now have the potential to create and personalise stadiums, which can added to the teams of your choice. Fancy making a stadium to accompany your Merseyside Blue - well now you can!

Though simplistic at first glance, this could be a bit more of a complex addition than it seems. Essentially, building a stadium just requires the choosing from the following:
• 8 types of “Turf Pattern”
• 8 types of “Layout” (which is basically the outer shape of the pitch)
• 8 types of “Track Image” (choose whether to have a racing track, gravel concrete etc surrounding the pitch)
• 6 types of Stand

Creating the stands has some sub-elements such as choosing seat colour, the design of the managers’ bench (4 options) and the light intensity. Also, as was shown with some old school Konami graphics on the recently released images - the designs can be completed by adding your own artwork for advertising boards and in-stadium banners. Depending on the size of the stands, you have between 4 and 7 elements that can be customised, allowing a lot of potential for personalisation. Finally, the finish of the stands can be chosen; corrugated metal, steel - or even a wooden effect roof for the lower league teams.

Once all that has been put together - it’s time choose the setting for your stadium. You are given the option to specify a background layout, with a variety of both urban and rural backdrops. After that, you can also add a background image, with stock items including city scenes - and a mountain range that looks suspiciously similar to the one seen in the background on the PES 3 intro (a little bit of nostalgia for you).

As with aspects within the stadiums themselves, the backgrounds can be customised even further by adding your own images. Sticking with the aforementioned Merseyside Blue example, uploading a picture of a panoramic view of a relative Merseyside Area could give your stadium the finishing touches that’s needed to bring it to life.

i was debating whether or not i wanted to import PES again from the UK like I have the past two years for PS3 (during the PS2 days i've always bought the North America/US version). This year I've decided not to import, simply because I want to support u guys.

hmm remind me what was 2009 style? By kit blunder do you mean the whole copy your old option file over from 2010-2011 for whatever reason the teams have the emblem on the sleeve higher than the new teams in 2011? or what is the kit blunder?

Well just some info my HOPE is to release the option file release night. I get the game tuesday about noon. I am taking the day off of work. I have from noon until 530p to edit as much as i can then I HAVE to go to school from 6p until 815p. If i do not go to class i have to write an 8 page paper for skipping class. As much as i love the PES Community and love helping out id rather not have to type an 8 page paper lol. So then I will get back home about 845/9 where the rest of the night will be dedicated to finishing the OF however missing that 3 hours is going to kill me and i will either get it out very late tuesday night or very early wed morning. if I do not finish it tuesday night i may take off wednesday to finish it and release it that morning. So please be patient with me as i try and get this done as quick as i can

Yeah, I can confirm that the DLC is up for the US/Americas version of PES 2011.

ie Ibra and Robinho in AC Milan, Macherano in Barcelona and the Ireland bug that was found in the first European and UK DLC has been already corrected... When you guys get your game just go to extra content and download as the new update is available.

Yesterday I went online and checked the overall raking and there were only two players that played online... I was the third player. One guy was from Mexico, and I think the other from Venezuela I think... I only played three games online with the guy in Mexico 1W, 1D, 1L.... No lag, just a tad slowdown but im guessing it was due to his connection and the distance... But all games were playable, hint to all of the guys here to use a "wire" connection as opposed to "wireless" as it makes a big difference in the online experience (don't care how fast your wireless is it will be inferior to the wire conncetion SO PLEASE CHANGE your connections if not already on wired)...

The MLO option will only be up and running on Tuesday (release date)....

1. Go to Edit mode.
2. Players.
3. Create player.
4. Select where you want to base copy player: created players 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5.
5. Pick a "unregistered" slot.
6. Select "base copy", the option in the bottom.
7. Click next.
8. Select the team where the player you want to copy plays.
9. Select the player, click "yes" to player data overwriting.
10. Click next.

And that's it man.

so anyone tell me if this will work. i know with updated your previous option file from 2010 to 2011 the teams we made in other teams B section did not transfer over. so i just erased WE and PES united to the two teams i make every year. When i transfer the data over will these players and all that info over write those teams in 2011? From there i plan to do the option file up...save it for myself to my computer THEN go back over WE and PES united and default everything back to what it should be then copy it and upload it to the board...does that make sense? will that work? id really hate to recreate my teams from scratch again

Seems that you guys haven't downloaded the DLC. This OF will work only if you have the update installed.

Go to "Extra content" in the main menu, the update is the 1st option from top. Note that your PS3 MUST be connected to the internet.

Seems that you guys haven't downloaded the DLC. This OF will work only if you have the update installed.

Go to "Extra content" in the main menu, the update is the 1st option from top. Note that your PS3 MUST be connected to the internet.

Yes, you do have to copy every single file. Too bad PS3 did not support system folder like Windows

Make sure that in your flash drive you have folder like this

PS3\SAVEDATA\ All files should be at this level otherwise PS3 won't be able to see it.

Also, make sure that you format your flash drive using the "FAT32". If you use NTFS, PS3 cannot see it either.

El option file es aparte de los system settings, lo del lenguaje hace parte de los settings, si tu tienes el juego seteado en espanol, asi es que te va a salir.

It still feels 'on rails' like last years, especially online. The quick responseiveness they gave us this year, is taken away online.... and it kills me that its like that. :(

definitely agreee while its a massive improvement, the linking feints system is quite impossible online.

also i hate the fact that you can't exit or back out of a game a the team selection screen, i played man city three times in a row last nite, on the fourth game if it was gonna be them that someone picked and i didn't have the option of exiting i would have been really pissed.

That's a great idea, but it everybody should pick different teams, don't u think? Because if everybody picks Madrid or Milan just to win, then it's not fun. I pick Valencia CF of course.

First of all, I'd like to thank mrgametight (and by extension JackWhoBRA, Rainey & Neilez) for taking the time to make this US PS3 option file. Everything looks terrific!

Second, I'd like to share some information that will probably impact how one uses this option file (and option files in general). The situation is this: Any team that has had it's "Team Name", "Emblem", "Stadium" or "Support" altered will be given quite a financial boost at the start of it's Master League campaign. For example, the default PES United (assuming a Division 2 placement) begins with a budget of approximately $3,000,000, a fan club base of around 5000 members, and an appropriately crappy 170 ranking. Change PES United's team name, emblem, stadium or support before beginning Master League, however, and it will begin with about $35,000,000 in budget, 70000 fan club members, a much higher ranking and a superior coaching staff - even in Division 2 with the default squad chosen. Here are some other examples of "edit boosts":

Default Palermo (Xavrenaguel): [~$40,000,000] [75,000 fcm]
Edited Palermo: [~$70,000,000] [95,000 fcm]

Default Hercules (Hecioguel): [~$15,000,000] [27,000 fcm]
Edited Hercules: [~$45,000,000] [75,000 fcm]

Default Stoke City (The Potteries): [~$19,000,000] [36,000 fcm]
Edited Stoke City: [$66,000,000] [95,000 fcm]

Quite a difference and fairly annoying if you A. Want the most challenging possible start to your ML, and B. Don't want the other low or mid level teams (the top level teams don't seem to have their starts boosted by the relevant edits, interestingly enough) in your ML to be given such advanced financial starts of their own. Luckily, there is a workaround for those who wish to begin with an edited team's "default" starting position:

1. With your finalized "edit data" configuration (e.g option file and any changes made) in place, load up the game.

2. Change your team's "Team Name", "Emblem", "Home Ground" and "Support" to their defaults (green triangle). If you wish, do the same for any other team that has had at least one of these fields edited.

3. Back out of the edit screen but do not save the edit data when prompted.

4. Begin your Master League with your chosen team (the newly default version, obviously) and save your progress at the first opportunity.

5. Reload the game or back out to the top menu and load your edit data file.

6. Load your ML save. Voila! You'll return to your saved starting position but with your edited team name, emblem, etc. back in place.

I had never had so much fun playing online like i did yesterday. Using different teams allow you to try different tactics and play style. Anyways, Hopefully everybody will try to have fun online and try different teams and not play with the same team all the time, because is easier to win that way and it gets boring. From now on, i'm only playing against my friends from this forum so if you want to try different teams, and don't care about the online raking, add me: ValencianoVCF.

yes what you will want to do is update your game with the dlc first and THEN upload my option file. youll have all the transfers and boots this way. and all the players that would have been lost due to the dlc update are base copied and in the create players section

hey, I live in the US , but my family is from Costa Rica, what part of Costa Rica...?, i believe the game has an option to play whatever mp3 files you have stored in the ps3, there should be an option to change what music plays in the menu, look around :-)
