GTM & Mighty Mag, are you going to be using the PES rosters or still your ones? As for example Josh McEachran is now included in the game so he has KONAMI stats making hm 69, whilst he's 63 on your update. However if you do choose yours, you dont have to miss out on new players/presets added as if you search their name (e.g. Ignasi Miquel) despite not being on any list he will appear and you can register him to his club Arsenal. Did that make sense?

Finally the update is out thank good but they totally messed up the german league teams and players previously I was mostly playing as B.Dortmund with sahin n barrios being my main attacking threats n now evrything is gone why, will update 1.3 rectify this problem coz its really annoying p.s. keep up the good work guys

I noticed this myself, Dzeko and a few other faces have returned to their konami preset. I have manually put dzeko's face back to the scan file. Some of the others I cannot do because of knowing which face belongs to the correct player. When the 1.3 update comes out Mighty_Mag & Glen will have this problem sorted.

What I think the choice on this question is, You can choose to apply the konami formations which is their starting 11's or you can choose to keep the changes you have made to formations.

I would suggest to apply the formation changes so that the teams will have decent starting line ups. the last thing you want is to have a left back playing as a striker etc. it will not do any harm at all so go ahead and apply the formations.. the 1.3 update will fix any problems so go ahead with that for now. Hope this helped you.

People, the DLC's reset edits - players, teams, chants etc (konami mean it to happen), so that means names, stats, faces created players, chants all reset to what they would have looked like had an optionfile not been applied. This should answer some of your questions.

We should be patient for gtm to release next update as a fair deal of editing is required.

Good things come to those who wait. Though hard, lets be reasonable to the Glen and MM as it must take hours per file to copy over. I hope I speak for everyone when I say that it shall be worth the wait! :happy:

I downloaded this patch and another one but don't work both. I have the last update with 1.02 version. My fault?

you have to install all 3 versions, then download latest dlc from konami and wait until gtm release new version of Option File. now, when you overwrite it, everything will be messed up, but glen and mm are working to fix everything up, so that 3 older versions and 1 new that's coming up will make the game compatible with latest konami dlc

both the bundesliga and chamionship squads are up to scratch with players nationalities fixed missing transfers have been done and and new 2011 kits added. just gotta fix cska and partzan then im gonna redo the fake / duplicate national players that the dlc messed up and ill be handing the file over to MM. once again i cant give a release date cos i dont know how long hell be so please try and be a little patient

Probably a few days max, im not going to overwrite all the classics with free agents just yet, it will take me ages to do that, Im gonna update the new player faces, talents, and remakes, etc... thats all so I dont think it will take too long, Im off at the weekend and monday should i recieve the file by then I could crack on with it,

The Free agents over classics will come in a further update, this helps when wanting to sign Ronaldinho, Thierry Henry etc right away, & will put a stop to them coming through as 16 yr olds at big clubs!!!

Just noticed a problem with player nationalities. I saw that in some championship teams like Leeds United, all the player's nationalities were Turkey and in another championship team they were all Poland. It also occurred in other teams as well, just in the championship though I think.

You have to install all the versions of this file. It takes 45 minutes, put some good music on while you copy all the files.

I find it so strange that they remove features, like using pre-made faces for players they remove (Ronaldinho), and then don't register to sides that are actually in the game (Flamengo)!!!!!

Also, the inability to use special hair styles is madness. The base copy work around is a total inconvenience. Just think if they ever released pc software that allowed you to modify the OF proper on you computer. I almost miss those PS2 days.......

oh yh i forgot to tell you sorry all the players the are name UNREGISTERED are fake players left over from the default squads i named them unregistered as a way of telling them apart from other players you these players as you see fit to create new players etc. also could you take a look at the stats of the new teams i added to see if they correspond with the actual teams performance this season also schalke aswell i noticed they are always near the bottom of the league when playing ML and league games. as for ronaldinho i based copied him over a player that konami ended up removing in the dlc so we lost his preset im afraid.

But now in order to stop Eusabio, Dalglish, George Best, and all those Classics that we dont really want being signed by other clubs in ML, I had another idea, I raised all their ages to over 40, then dropped their stats heavy, so they are like the worst players in the game, this will stop them entering the game in ML, with classics swithched on, cos no teams will sign them if they are crap!

so thats it really, hope this does not anger anyone that likes the retro players?

if so all you'll need to do is just go to the player you like an default his stats back!

but its much more realistic if we dont have a dead man signing for Chelsea at the age of 22, (George Best)

But now in order to stop Eusabio, Dalglish, George Best, and all those Classics that we dont really want being signed by other clubs in ML, I had another idea, I raised all their ages to over 40, then dropped their stats heavy, so they are like the worst players in the game, this will stop them entering the game in ML, with classics swithched on, cos no teams will sign them if they are crap!

so thats it really, hope this does not anger anyone that likes the retro players?

if so all you'll need to do is just go to the player you like an default his stats back!

This is a complete Option file, but due to constant DLC we have to do it this way?

just start with 1.0 and work your way up to the latest one when it gets released wich should be any time soon!

the best new players are Marquinhos, & Sanchez both kids

you find with nearly all the scans they look far far better in actual game play, when you pause and go to replay then zoom in on a particular player, thats the best they get,

in squad selection or the transfer market, all scans look blurred!

when i make a scan face then apply it it looks great, but as soon as you save it blurs it, and then the only time it looks like before the blur, is in actual game play!

thats how its always been,

have a look at the Kelly at liverpool in game it should be a decent face......

Bebe didnt get a new scan, he looks shit cos he has a massive fat nose that hardly fits in the face edit! and pogba is fine on mine too!

I will look into maybe improving some?

but as i get better images the scans will look sharper neater and more accurate! like the ones below, the newer scans im doing look alot better, its the older ones I dont get time to update, and if they are ok they can stay in there, You have got to remember i did like over 400 scans plus this seasons, im not just about making your favorites look the best, i do try my best but theres loads to do, so to be fair to start nit picking is really beyond me, when myself and Glen put more into these option files than any Pes Editors on the net! unless you own the PC versions?

Carroll ain't bad but personally i don't like bebe, hernandez or pogba either. Not that any of us don't appreciate your work man, it's an unbelievable effort; they just look...wrong. Copy the edit data from the USB onto your PS3...the msg will come up asking if you want to replace it, go ahead and replace it. Then copy the edit data back onto your USB and then back onto your PS3. That should sort it.

Yes, 'cause you have to delete YOUR edit data first ( only the edit data file ) and only then copy the edit data file from the 1.3

This won't affect your trophies ;)

Which German emblems are outdated already?

they aren't outdated, but there's no amblems due to lack of space for amblems. i like to play bundesliga and i'll change those amblems for npower teams amblems

Im just apealling to anyone who has an answer my question especially MM and GTM im literallly @ breaking point I dont care if im carrying on i've waited tooo long to mess up nw i redownloaded the file and deleted my edit file n copied yours n it has just messed up teams and stats from my game rendering the game useless to me I dont c why I should have 2 start again because of this. B4 i deleted my edit file i saved it, the problem is I can access the player faces when i import data but nothing else when i revert back to my previous edit data I want the 1.3 patch but it messes up my game, could it be corrupted or something I know its silly but im out of ideas NEED DESPRATE HLP SOS

AfroKid88 if this isnt what you're saying, then forgive me. If you overwrited your edit data with GTM's/MM's then of course your stats and transfers are gonna go missing, cos you overworte them.

Also, I still have the Ronaldinho pre-DLC in my game via the BAL method :D!!!

Shame the OF ruine L. Clarke, he was doing quite well in my ML.

Also you replaced the stats of McEachran and Tore with your stats, however KONAMI stats did make these McEachran 69 overall and Tore better than the 58 he currently is. Oh and McEachran is left-footed, not right (sorry if it seems I am 'nagging', I'm a perfectionist ;))

Ok what your saying is not making any sense to me, so il tell you how things work,

fistly you must update to the latest Konami DLC, then if you have not previously installed any of our updates, start with 1.0 then work your way up to the latest 1.3 by keep overwriting everything! and that is all you do, you do not need to save any previous data or anything, just update to latest Konami patch by downloading it from the extra content, then work your way through all our patches installing everything, and overwriting anything it says it has already installed previously!

Im sorry If u dont understand what im saying ill slow down............:blush: o.k I have the rest of the updates 1.0-1.2 i recently tried to add 1.3..... i copied everything on the 1.3 update as usual....when i tried to copy the edit data it told me something unfamiliar that it would effect mt trophies.... then i decided to delete my edit data and copy yours thats fine when i got to the game alll of my previous stats and adjustments had gone :shocking: thats the story so far usually in previous OF updates my exisiting saved data isnt affected, also I du have the latest konami update 1.02, 7.00 :ninja:

Ok for the moaners, I think i will redo Pogba Bebe & Hernandez, as they were old scans, i think pogba pes 2009 to be fair........

Carroll is ok for me, everyone that uses scans of him is using the one when he was 17 playing for England youths, I have made a scan of him of how he looks at 21 more recent and yes he has bags under his eyes and a bit older looking!

I used a different hair for Hernandez and it didn't look too bad so I don't think it needs re-doing but you can try maybe and pogba and bebe definately need doing.

Like the look of your file, mate. Downloading 1.0 now before subsequent 1.1 to 1.2 to 1.3 all after the initial PES 2011 game update, of couse.

I can't wait. These option files always improve the game, to no end. There may be a few niggles here and there with duplicate players (is it any wonder with the amount that PES contains) and nationalities from what is being reported but, without the option file (hundred of hours of voluntary work) these niggles would be ten fold without accurate kits, squads, and players.

Looking forward to getting a hands on.

You are clearly mistaken if you think you can override your option file with Glen and MM file and have your data still be present. It doesn't work like that, its never worked like that, and it never will work like that. I don't even see how any rational person could come to that conclusion.

If you tear a house down and rebuild on the same site, you can't expect the inside to look the exact same.

If you delete something or override it - its gone. End of story.

You can't have two separate option files loaded at the same time. It doesn't matter if you have your file on a USB stick - it isn't, and can't be loaded that way into the game.

Once you download the GTM file and load it.....that's it. All of their edits (transfers, stats, apps) are now loaded onto your game. There is no way to combine information from two separate files.

Hi Glen just a few suggestions on players not in game, current league Champions of Ireland "Shamrock Rovers" could be a possibilty for players, 5 games into the new season and top of the table with champions league qualifers this summer and only lost 1-0 to real madrid last summer would like to see them in my master league team;)
Also is Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain(promising star) of southampton in the game? maybe some of the best players from league 1, the SPL outside the old firm and MLS can be added..:)

Cant beleive you complained in the first place if you are using those builds instead?

they are no improvement, they just look like default Konami standard faces?

I think i will put together a list of all talents, that are not in Pes, and dont have clubs in Pes from FM2011, and send it you, I will try and mark each name for you with a rating,
eg: His position, and a rating lets say 70, and you work around how his stats are........

then overtime they can enter our ML and be recognised, but lower league players like Alex Chamberlain, Guida Fofana is a top talent and his club is not in cos its French 2nd division, so he would be one, And some already made are like this, Ogbonna, Nestor, Cosic, Gerson, etc they are all top players, so we can use this idea......

I did put in the Important read me document in the file download that as time goes on this is what I would have done, by keep overwriting the Classics with my Edit players, so with all the suggestions of adding players, like Chamberlain, or Shamrock players this is good!

but if I still have room for me to add any creations also!

I think i will put together a list of all talents, that are not in Pes, and dont have clubs in Pes from FM2011, and send it you, I will try and mark each name for you with a rating,
eg: His position, and a rating lets say 70, and you work around how his stats are........

then overtime they can enter our ML and be recognised, but lower league players like Alex Chamberlain, Guida Fofana is a top talent and his club is not in cos its French 2nd division, so he would be one, And some already made are like this, Ogbonna, Nestor, Cosic, Gerson, etc they are all top players, so we can use this idea......

PM me if you want me to create a Shortlist of players it wont take me long

do u no of any other players that have lost their pre set face that Glen and MM 4got about just wanna make sure b4 i start downloading

also i assume once i delete the BAL saved data using ronaldinho the face will still remain. (i dont want 2 have all these saved data BAL files of players just 2 keep there faces if that makes sense :unsure:

1 last thing everytime glen and MM update there OF will i need 2 keep creating a new BAL file of ronaldinho b4 i download their new update

So I'm assuming there's no way to recover these faces for this file then right? I don't exactly understand why Ronaldinho would not still be in the game, as Flamengo are fully licensed.

just wondering if you could answer a few questions for me have u overwritin the brazilian ronaldo cause carnt seem to see him anywhere in the game know he is retired but he one of the true greats that has a present face, also think ur martin kelly of liverpool scan is great any chance u could update his stats cause he is far better than 69 overall.

on the unregistered thing, will you just default thier names back? but leave the stats lowered? I didn't realise they would be signed in ML, so thats a new issue, we cant have unregistered running round the pitch!

I think you said you only did that so i knew who to edit over? so just go ahead and default their names, I will only ever be adding to the classics in future now i filled classics 5 I will move onto Classics 4, and so on

They are nothing in comparison with PES stats data base, I do assign special tricks to the Wonderkids, it helps with their progression, i do like to sign the youngsters and watch them turn into quality players, but their stats aint too high to begin with,

2)Is there any particular reason list 5 was chosen to use for the unattached players as opposed to the other classic lists? Since i like Classic players on, i'm concerned with the disappearance of certain players(Law, Dalglish, Di Stefano, Yashin, Mihajlovic, Guardiola, Hierro, Nadal, Henrik Larsson and Ian Rush in particular) Would it be possible to have these players re-instated in future update in place of other 'less classic' players?

3)Are the 7 Classic teams edited? I don't have them unlocked so i thought I'd ask.

No there is no particular reason for using Classics 5, but in time they will all go!

Myself & Glen dont use them, and to be fair its pointless those players entering ML during a season when they are either in Management, Coaching, Retired, or Dead.

so you will see in future updates they will no longer exist, but be replaced with players who are not in the game but are actually playing,

The whole issue for Classics stems from Konamis failure to correct edit player morale, so the overwriting of classics is the only way, I will be making a shortlist of the best players not currently in PES2011 obtained from FM2011 and we will use these players as our classics (although they are not classic, just not in game players)

Yes I lowered his stats a while back, I didnt think it was realiatic when he bagged a Hattrick against me in ML, so i checked his stats and he was like one of the best players in the game, this was over a few seasons, so it was to slow his progress really

also if i want to create myself on the game is there a way of stopping it from dissappearing when the next update comes out. Something to do with base copying is it?

mighty mag is spot on sorry but it makes ML very unrealistic having batistuta score against me.

mag ive greated a few players over classics the ones suggested i have done ;) ive still got the classic players 3 and 4 to overwrite so ill leave them till i get the list from you and put them in there.

btw this is real good of you to do this, as I can understand how tedious these kind of tasks are, i got bored just changing the ages and dropping the stats in the hope none of the teams in ML would want them & they still frigging did?
