X-Port Questions. If you know about X-Port could you help me?

Hey there, I am considering gettin X-Port since it seems as if it would add to the enjoyment of PS2 and PES2. But I am still unsure of what exactly it does. And one fo the things I would like to know is can you download crowd chants? I know that with the HD (which my cuz has. One of the lucky few in Europe) you can do this but could someone tell me as muchas they can about it?

You can't add chants, that is only done by using patches (on WE6:FE and not PES/PES2)

I havent checked that site yet but coould you tell me if you need a Mod-Chip to download things for PES2? THX.

You only need a mod chip to play foreign import or copied/burnt games.
Alternatives for this are the knife trick, flip top lid and the Slide card thing which is new. These methods are cheaper but need a boot disk to be used every time you want to load a game.

You download everything as you would usually download it.
There are option files available at
www.showusmiracle.com
which you can download simply.
You would then use the X-Port to transfer the option file to your PS2 memory card to use it.

Option files only change things that you can edit in the game yourself like players, teams and normal kits/flags.
It just saves you doing from doing it.
It won't add patches or logos or anything like that.

I find the best use for X-Port is emailing of transfering of option files and saving all my better goals on the hard disk to free up the memory card.

Speaking of goals, why isnt there a 'goal of the month' competition on this site, it would really make this site a complete PES site.

This is still quite a new site and is constantly 'evolving'.
I'd been keen on a goals section but we'd need someone to be in charge of it and they would need to have an X-Port and a PC TV card.
If someone offers to hitman, maybe it can happen.
