Paul2478 Championship/Bundesliga Option File [PS3]

Avaliable now my option file for PES 2011 (BLES-20)

It contains:-

All unlicensed teams corrected
National teams player names corrected with duplicates removed
All NT kits fixed
18 Championship Teams
Full Bundesliga
Fake/Retired players used to create current players

Championship Teams

Bristol City, Burnley, Cardiff, Crystal Palace, Doncaster, Hull, Ipswich, Leeds, Leicester, Middlesbrough, Norwich, Nottingham Forest, Portsmouth, Preston, QPR, Reading, Swansea & Watford.

Partizan Belgrade & Bursaspor will replace the spare teams not needed for the Bundesliga.

I will use players from in the game where possible, Bundesliga players will be created using pesstats database and Championship players using Football Manager to keep things even.

Each version has all the files so if you have never used my file before you just need to copy everything from the latest version

Release date depends on when I get the game, original release date for PES here was tommorow, but some sites are now saying later. Will find out tommorow when I try to pick up my pre-order.

The 1st update wont have players for the Championship or Bundesliga players, once the players have been created they will have either face scans or builds done.

Ok so the base option file is ready & Includes:

All duplicate NT players removed and renamed "DUP'
All NT player names fixed *
All competions renamed with logos added

* The last 8 Asian teams havent been fixed yey as JackWhoBra released his new kit pack today so I updated the kits again to get the best quality, they will be done by the next update.

No Bundesliga or Championship teams done yet, they will be in the next update.

Just a thought mate, Alkhen has already done a championship option file based on Wenb bles020's updated file....

So why not use his as a base and then all you have to do is the german league ?

Yeah enxt update, ive done all the kits and I'm currently creating all the players. I'm hoping to have full Bundesliga & Championship the weekend after this one

Ok here's the latest update to the option file. I didnt get as much done as I had hoped as ive had a sick wife at home & the only way to make her rest was sit her down with some DVD's, so less PES for me.

Anyway here's whats been done since the last update

Ok guys here's v1.2, sorry it took longer than expected, thanks for your patience below are the changes from v1.1.

Championship
All teams now have full squads to go with the kits in the previous update. The players all have correct stats, height/weight, positions, etc but at the moment very few players have apperances done. These will be rectified in the comming weeks to get them to the same standard as the Bundesliga players, it does mean that you can start your ML as any apperance changes will take effect even after you start. All teams also have formations & stadiums assigned any suggestions for better choices are welcome.

Hey Paul,

Just downloaded your OF to my computer, I then unzipped the file and created a folder called PS3 and moved all your files into that folder. From here I dragged and dropped the PS3 folder to my USB stick which is formatted in FAT32, but when I put it into my PS3 nothing shows up

Once your USB is plugged into your PS3 in the game section of the XMB goto saved data utility and press X. You should see your USB drive press X and all the files should show. Then copy each one across to your PS3. Let me know how you get on

Ok, here's v1.3, I decided to power through and get this out as so many people were having trouble dowloading v1.2. Changes from v1.2 are as follows:

Championship
All players now have correct skin colour/hairstyle. A few squads have correct accesories, the rest will be done for the next update.

Kits
A few Championship kits have been ammended and NT kits have been added for Austria, Belgium, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Finland, Israel, Montenegro, Norway, Poland. Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Ukraine, Algeria, Angola, Egypt, South Africa & Venezuela.

Other
Plus the usual apperance fixes and general tweaks

I've not really had time to look tbh, I just borrowed the game & created a new game with all leagues loaded with a large database (over 169,000 players) & saved it. I dont buy the game any more as I dont have the time to play it. Just waiting for the new version of genie scout so I can check it out. Will PM you a link once its uploaded

Just came across your thread and I have to say I am very impressed with your OF for BLES-20, congratulations on your fine efforts!

Just to let you know, I'm from London and I have a BLES-21 version of PES 2011. I got hold of a copy from the media in Mid-September and have been playing BAL. As a big QPR fan, I didn't want to start ML, as I was waiting for a kind soul to release a OF such as the quality as yours!

However to my horror, on general release in the UK on 8th October, Konami launched the BLES-20 version, leaving me in a pickle as no-one in the UK would have the BLES-21 version, therefore no-one in the UK will develop a detailed npower championship/Bundesliga OF for BLES-21, which a bit of a bitch as most gamers on here has had a championship/Bundesliga OF for over a month now (I'm just jealous!) and I am itching to get hold of one of my own OF for BLES-21.

I have been scouring this site for someone to develop a fully detailed BLES-21 npower championship/Bundesliga OF such as yours, to which there are only 2 people dedicated to this (thanks to Jackal/YNK), however as only 2 people are helping on this project, this is still a work in motion.

My question to you is that would you know of any good equivelent of your OF for BLES-21?

Or is there any possible way you could help or assist in their cause? The link to their thread is below:

Cheers. glad your enjoing it. If you use that link there are 63 files you need to copy all of those, the other link has all 777 files. I do it with 2 links so existing users know which files to copy across. Shouldnt take you long, it took about 10 mins to copy them from my PS3 :)

Just downloaded this and really liking it, just a quick query - am I right in thinking that there are a limited number of emblem slots - which is why some of the Championships teams just have the NPower logo - or have I just failed to copy some of the files across!

If you want the Leicester emblem, then get the PNG on you PS3 goto edit and change the Leicester emblem, overwritting Cardiff or QPR, then goto the the team you have overwritten & select the NPower embelm for them.

With alot of the Championship player apps all ive done is get the correct skin colour/hairstyle/accesories. As I'm going along I'm trying to improve them with scans or builds, any suggestions are welcome, I will look at Moussa for you

Try deleting the just the edit file & copying it across again. Also check you dont have 2 different PES 2011 saves as some people have had this problem

Which version of PES 2011 do you have? the UK one has 2 version. BLES 20 and BLES 21.

If a BLES-21 file works then yeah you have a BLES-21 game, it should be written somewhere on the disc

The next update will just be more apperance fixes & players created. DLC shouldnt be too much of a problem this year ive kept spreadsheets detailing where ive moved players to & from, so once its out it should only take me a day or two to fix everything :) Hopefully the next update will be next week if I get enough done to warrant one, then I'm gonna be away for a couple of weeks

Also, when a file of such high quality like yours comes along, it completely blows my envisioned file out of the water. Quick questions about the Free Agents section. I plan to overwrite the dupes with players for my national side, and some characters from Captain Tsubasa for kicks. I noticed that aside from the dupes there were 63 other players. I recognise Itandje and Davids but have no clue who the rest are. Are these real players? Or perhaps hidden PES ones? Thanks.

Glad you like it, there are a few real players in the free agents section, the rest are fake players from the Bundesliga & Championship teams. I'm slowly working on replacing them with real players

I'm not 100% on this but if a player is registered to a team then you should be able to buy them regardless of whether you have unlocked that player. The players that arent registered to a team you will need to unlock before you can buy them

There's no way to change the option file for a different region sorry. All I can suggest is importing a UK copy of the game

With the missing players like Zaha, it is because I couldnt get stats, I do have stats now and those missing players will be in the next update.

The players named DUP are the duplicate NT players, they wont appear in ML or BAL unless they are registered to a team before you start, so no need to worry there :)

Yeah the players with proper names will appear as free agents, if you edit over a duplicate player then register them to a team they will also appear in ML.

I know it takes ages to do, thats why I do it in stages, theres always something to change or improve :)

You didnt offend me, its just always the last thing I do as its the one thing that will change after you start a ML or BAL, so its I always try to get the players created with basic apperances to start with then improve them where possible throught the year. I'm currently working on getting alot of the face builds that people have created on here & pesfan into the game ready for the next update

Very strange, I will check it out, there should be a few there. Yeah play with classics on as I have overwritten all the retired players with Copa Libertadores players to give you more players to buy

Ok so I started a ML to see whats happening & your right when I look at free agents the only players there are the classic players that arent registered to a club, none of the free agents show up.

Ive not played ML yet so im only guessing, but one of two things may happen. First they could appear from the January transfer window or more likely they are treated like unregistered NT players and they will appear at random in youth teams.

Maybe someone who has played ML a bit can confirm this

Due to the limited number of emblem slots most Championship teams have the NPower logo. Hope that helps.

You can change them over manually if you prefer to have the Championship logos. Ive got all the logos and can post a link if you would like them.

You are really fast with your updates, good work. But one remaining question, where did you get the stats for the Bundesliga? Player like Podolski which are also playing in the National Team of Germany have a overall rating of 72. That's a little bit low I think.

Cheers, the Bundesliga stats come from 3 places, players like Podolski who are in the game have thei default Konami stats, then they come from psd and if they are not on there then they are convrted from FM.

I personally believe overall ratings are misleading as they only represent the stats needed for that position, as well as player cards & whether the player is registered for that position. Just as an example I had a player who was a CM/SM and put him as a DM, his overall rating was 55, I added DM as a position in edit mode & his rating went up to 71 without changing any stats. Saying that I will have a look at Podolski :)

He is a sub so I think the 72 and SS are his best ratings or am I wrong? How do you handle the German umlauts? ä,ö,ü and perhaps the ß.

Not had chance to look at him yet SS would be his main position, it could be that if he is played as a CF his rating goes up, will check it out later. With the umlauts & other non english letters, some can be inputed using the on screen keyboard, but tbh I dont always bother as I forget to check :)

I will see what I can do with the umlauts. Unfortunatley you cant edit the backs of shirts so the created teams while they look good will never look as good as the licesnsed clubs like Bayern & Werder, maybe next year Konami will give us that option

You have done everything right, due to the restrictions on emblems only QPR & Cardiff have their correct emblem the remaining teams have the NPower emblem.

If your disc has BLES01020 on it then there's no problem the discs from the UK/Aus are exactlly the same. As flow has said the problem you most likely have is with not having the cirrent patch/data pack. Delete just the edit data file (leave the kits & faces) and start the game. Again as flow said look in the bottom corner and if you dont have data pack 2.00 go to extra content and download the update. Exit the game and copy my edit data across again. Then start the game back up and it should all be working. Let me know how you get on

Ok 1st make sure you have a BLES-20 copy of the game fully updated to v1.2 & data pack 2.00, then download the latest version of the file to your computer and unzip the files. Then copy all the folders to a folder on a USB drive called "SAVEDATA". Plug the USB into your PS3 and on the XMB goto game a scroll up to save game data utility, press X and delete you PES2011 edit data file then look for your USB drive and press triangle and select display all. You should see all the files appear, copy each one across individually (it will take more than an hour). Once your done start the game & everything will be updated. Let me know how you get on

Here's the latest update for the file. It's much like the last update in that it includes transfers, apperance/accessorie updates as well as a couple of updated NT kits.

The transfers arent 100% perfect yet as I'm waiting until the next DLC before creating extra players, also some squads are full so I couldnt transfer the player. This will all be fixed for the next update after the new DLC.

If you have v1.7 you only need to copy the following files

Cant find the post, so here are some basic instructions. You will need to download game graphic studio (ggs), just google it & you will also need photoshop/gimp or something similar. Open up ggs and open the bin file, click on the highest resolution face at the bottom of the screen then save. This will convert it to a png file, then open the png in photoshop/gimp and you will see the face & other things such as teeth & ears. Cut out the face & paste it into a new window then save it as a png.

This will work for most of the faces, but not all. If the png has a open mouth you will need to close it and if there is a beard you will need to erase it. It all depends on how good you are at using photoshop/gimp.

Are you planing on using my file as a base & replacing the Bundesliga & Championship with the Liga Zon Sagres & J-League?

you have done everything right, due to the restrictions on emblems only qpr & cardiff have their correct emblem the remaining teams have the npower emblem.

I only made a couple of the kits, and even then I cut & pasted logos from other kits. All the kit PNG's are made by people who post their work on here & pesfan. There is a kit request thread here http://www.pesgaming.com/showthread.php?t=83069. Maybe someone will make them for you. Glad you like the file

With the news that the next DLC might not be out for another month would anyone be interested in a new update with starting lineups changed to reflect the new signings? I was going to wait to do this until after the DLC. Also there will be more of the usual apperance updates.

Nice update paul, cant get online as much as i use too, any way noticed that a player who plays for QPR is still named 'QPR' and wigans james mcarthy is spelt incorrectly.

Just a quick one, i been playing the master league started with bristol city (random choice) it took me 3 seasons to get out with (on the hardest level) which i'm happy cause i have been improving the squad first season i finished 16th then second i finished 8th and the third i finished 3rd which gave me promotion to the premier league to be fair i sold most of my top players as clubs was after them and they wanted to move (i try to play fair in ml lol) i got a much weaker defence then when i got promoted and excatly the same strike force but im tearing teams apart example man u i beat 7-2 tottenham 4-1 list goes on only team i cant seem to beat is city i know teams get weaker or stronger due to different transfers but its so much easier then the Npower league whats causing this? are premier league formations more open then the npower and thats why im finding it easier to score?

Will update my pes with your hard work later tonight mate :) .

Cheers Mikey I will have a look at those errors & get them fixed up. As for the ML question ive still not started one, but maybe its because your players teamwork stats have got high now so they are able to play better together. Hope you enjoy the update.

Glad that one is cleared up as I couldnt find a player called QPR. With the chants have you had a look at neillz thread on pesfan? He makes some really good chants. The latest date for donations is Saturday, I understand that you may not have the cash to spare, was just wondering if the link worked. Houses & babies are expensive :)

Create a folder on your USB drive called "SAVEDATA", then download the file & extract to yor dektop. Open the folder & copy all the folders inside the main folder to the "SAVEDATA" folder on your USB, then plug into your PS3. Hope that helps :)

Here's the latest update, fully compatible with data pack 7.0 :)

Ive fixed all the created teams squads so everyone is back where they should be, fixed the nationalitys & squad numbers. I didnt have time to do the line ups except to make sure the right player is captain. This will be fixed with the next update & wont stop you all from starting new ML/BAL's.

There are also a few new scans/builds & accessorie updates that I did before the DLC, I would have added more but fixing the file took alot longer than expected (16 hours in the end) so they will come in the next update.

I'm pretty sure all transfers are up to date & everything has been corrected, let me know if you spot any errors so I can fix them.

Just is file it has everything, Make sure you have installed the DLC before copying the file, try another USB & finally download & extract the file again, one of those should work :)

It works with any BLES-20 copy of the game, I believe the Italian version is BLES-22. Check the disc & box to see what BLES code you have

You cant mix & match option files sorry. One thing to remember when it comes to stats is dont look at the overall rating look at the players individual stats. The overall rating is dependant on so many different things that it doesnt give a true reflection of how good the player is in their spercific role. If you really want the stats changed then manual input is the only way

You need bles 01020, patch 1.02 & data pack 7.00 for the latest version. Sounds like you have everything except the latest data pack so download that & you will be able to use the file :)

thanks for the reply paul, i tried to install the 2.1 version option file and i get message UNABLE TO LOAD BECAUSE DATA IS FROM A DIFFERENT VERSION DOWNLOAD NEW CONTENT TO UPDATE DATA. I dont have data pack 7 , i am unable to update through extra content menu, as DATA PACK is greyed out with the message UNABLE TO OBTAIN LATEST DATA PACK UPDATE. any idea if i can download it from net, and update mnually.i really want your option file, any help will be greatly appreciated

Glad you were able to download the data pack from the web. Suarez preset isnt the best, it hasnt changed since the last data pack though I may have changed his hair, I cant remember though. Glad you like the file, do you have a link to where you downloaded the latest data pack from? As I know some other users would like it

Not sure what your after sorry, I'm guessing you have a BLES-22 copy of the game which is why the file wont work. Also that would mean there would be no way for you to use my files to make a option file that works. Let me know if I have misunderstood :)

Now avaliable v2.2 of my option file. Normal update with new face scans/builds, player boot/accessorie updates, some more NT kits updated and Loftus Road added to the stadiums.

Also I have fixed the Stadium of Light as I realised the ad-boards were wrong :)

Its OK. I finally found out. You need to copy the.img file in dev_hdd0/game/BLES01022_DOWNLOAD/USRDIR folder.

If you hve the eu version of the game it will not work. The BLES code is written on the spine of the box & also on the disk yours will probably end with 22.

does your OF containe the right team logos for all, because the option file i have has some of the teams wrong logos for the german and bbva league such as in the german leagure 96 and st pauli have clearly the wrong team logo so i am wanting to know does yours containe all the rite logos?

The same way as always copy all the files to a folder called "SAVEDATA" on a USB drive, plug it into your PS3, goto the game section & find your USB drive press triangle and select display all then copy each file across individually :)

I tink the build I used was by edgar, but semprejuve is excellent at doing asian players, so if the scan is no good I will update him with that build.

I havent unlocked any of the classic teams so they are all default, if I end up unlocking any I will overwrite them like I have done with the other retired players

I'm not sure what that error is sorry, maybe try PM him to see if he can explain.

The only guide I can give you is to delete any PES save data from your PS3, except for the system data & any save games then copy across the edit data & check it works. If it does then copy the rest of the files across. Let me know how you get on

Wen you go to your usb in the save data utility you need to press triangle on your USB and select display all then the files show up & you can copy them across one by one :)

yea i done that it says no files. When i extract them because ive been searching everywhere to fine the answer do i have to save them as a ps3 file (if so how) or somthing because i just unzip them and put them on the usb as a RAR. file, i think the icon nxt to the file is like a little peice of paper with a folded down edge??
