Right I got my X-Port and it doesn't even work! I've got all my option files ready (thanks Zygalski).

I have done everything correctly. I installed the software, I plugged the PS2 in using the USB cable. I turned the PS2 on and put in the CD, I run the program and selected to transfer a file from my PC to the PS2 with my memory card. It pretends to do it but it doesn't work and when I go to look at the contents of my memory card it comes up with an error message (on the PC).

It just doesn't work. Do you have to have the TV cable plugged in on the PS2 cos i only had the power lead in?

You don't need the TV connected.
Just turn on the PS2 first and leave it for over 30 seconds to load up.

Have you tried to save the option to the PC first?
I think you will have to delete the option file from the mem card before you can send another one to it.

Hope this helps.
Good luck and let us know.

I know that you can only have one option file on each memory card and so I am trying to put a downloaded option file onto my other memory card without an option file.

Is it in port 1?
Check to see if you can copy something from the card before trying to put anything on it.

I'm off so will be back at 7ish.
Hope it works mate.

Good work.
It's an OK file but it did take a lot of work!

The Chelsea flag is my own design.
Hope you like playing as England!
