Online Problems, any help?

Hi there, I have been playing for 3 days ML online and friendly games online, but I have the problem that in almos 50% of my games in ML online my ps3 disconects form the server, is this a common problem?? other problem too is that almost all rooms apear in red, I have a 2MB internet conection and testing speed before the games it is at 2MB so I dont think is internet conection, I have in DMZ the mac adress of my ps3 an open the UDP port that is in configuration, any idea??

how do you do the DMZ config? It wont let me online because of it. Why do they have to make things so complicated? Every other game works fine online without having to mess with my router!

I just added the mac address of the ps3 in the DMZ, and you can play the game, but Im having serious disconection problems with the servers. How can you add your ps3 to DMZ depends of your router, first you need to know the mac adress of your ps3 so go for network settings in ps3 an look for it, then type in your web broser the ip of your firewall (router) and look in the lan settings for the DMZ settings, normaly you have just to type the mac adress of your ps3 and buala it works.

im getting the same problem on the 360, every 3rd game cuts out and you lose 3-0which is pretty shit to be honest, especially when your in a competition. so many time have i been leading by a couple of goals then it cuts out!. it must have something to do with the servers, cos i have no trouble on any other game and never had a problem on pes either before, even last year when everyobne was moaning about lag.

does anybody else have a problem playing quick matches online?

it takes AGES for an opponent to appear and sometimes after 2 minutes no one does! in the older games someone was there to play right away most of the time

yea same...the Automatch making and Lost Connection Problems needs to be fixed or this games gonna be getting alot of hate..if we all report the problem to konami maybe they will fix it faster.

Just look at your modem manual :D you can find it online in google :)

In your router settings, not modem. Find "port forwarding" or "port triggering"(differs for each model) and put the ports in there posted above. Pretty straight forward.

router i just tried it it didnt work...i got 3 psn errors.. and 2 in game lost coonections it got worst.

Tonight I will test again, bot frieds all aroun Mexico have the same problem a lot of server disconections and red conections in almost all rooms, we have 2Mb, 5Mb and 10Mb conections so we dont think the problem is about conection broadband.

just crazy laught, not able to play online :S

Right, online was a lot better for me last night, there has been maintainace done on the servers for xbox, but also on my router i have now properly opened all the ports, given the xbox a static ip, turned on upnp and disabled the router firewall! it tok me bloody ages!, but the results were, started 15 games, finished 13, won 6, drew 5 and lost 2!. it made the game so much more enjoyable.

how to disable router firewall??

depends on what router you have, it should be in the security tab when you look at your router online, its pretty safe to do it as your pc etc should have its own firewall.
