Master league team online against friends

Hi could someone help as Ive been trying to setup a game online using my master league team against a friends. I set up a game lobby and set the option to just using master league teams but it comes back with no save data found?? Is it possible to play this way?

It is possible, I'm trying to find out two myself. I've tryed almost everything but nothings working... Can anyone help me/us?
