An error has occurred - Connection to sever lost

Is anyone else still having constant connection problems online for the PS3? I've tried constantly to get online today & just go through the matchmaking part (which takes an eternity) for it to select an opponent & then says an error has occurred & then loses connection to the server. I know its not my connection as its wired & min 6 meg connection, which is easy sufficient for other online games.

Still seems to be a case of "You dont know what ya doin!" in the online dept of Konami & the third next gen online failure, in fact lets be honest no online version has really worked in my opinon & I've bought every version of the game since ISS.

Another thing seems to be affecting me is how to change a suspended player when loading a pre set game plan, the system wont let them be swapped, has anyone else had this problem?:angry:

might av solved it, just checked port settings & it had been knocked off auto setting, check that out pal

In repsonse to my own comment above, its fixed F*** All! managed 2 games in 3 hours so far & how my controller is in tact still is a miracle!

Had same problem earlier in tournament, still I stayed till the end and when I looked at the standings only 2 teams had managed to play 3 games. Why do we put up with this in this day and age, Konami will do nothing about it either.

I'm seriously thinking of getting Fifa(ewwwww) just for my football fix.

i wasnt able to play online last night, from 12pm ET (US) to 4am ET(US).. WTF
I thought the server was under the regular maintence, but it never takes that long

i havent played today, but i will at night, so make it work bitches!

i downloaded the game, loved it and bought it to play online and it works like crap, WAIT, it doesn't work at all!!!!!!

so what i told all my buddies who wanted to buy this game, don't waste your money, there is no online mode in this game there is only onlag. download the damn thing its the same.

I'm getting to the point now where I've had enough & might even consider fifa myself which is just soething I've never considered before. I've bought every version of this game on every PS & thought in the next gen games console we'd be playing something that actually works. I'd just prefer Konami sell the PES franchise & let a real developer finish the game as its quite clear the current team are out of their depth now.

Surely there must be more people affected by this, I've tried three routers, various settings, every single match I play I get the error 'connection lost', this is ongoing for over a week now, it's infuriating. I can't understand how the servers can't seem to cope, when on Fifa they can host about 50000 games at a time without any problems

Lo and behold it seems to be working again, played 10 games last night without any problems, now to repair my destroyed rating

I thought the problem had gone away but no entered a competition & now somw 15 mins into qualifying still not got connected to a game but paid the enterence fee which is looking like its now lost how f***ing infurating are the cheapskate servers?!?!? & like has been mentioned how come fifa manage to host games without an issue?

just o show what we are up against... I emailed konami telling them of the problems that i was getting( cxn lost during most games ), i told them that i had done all the port forwarding, dmz firewall upnp and all the other shit people tell you to do and i got a reply from konami yesterday telling me to open ports do dmz firewall and upnp, lol, i didnt know if i wanted to laugh or cry, but come on at least read my emai; before replying, just to rub it in though i was playing black ops nearly all day yesterday and had no problem in any game what so ever so it really must be a fault with konami's servers. I know that there are loads of people who are gonna say they have had no problems but there are many many people who are having trouble and its multi format as well.

So contacting konami is shit, big surprise! Ive been cheated out of my money and my points because of that damn server problem. Got it 3! times in a row, then i also degraded to division 4 because i was unable to fix my points. I also had to sell a player because i lost a lot of money! Now i'm still pissed but its useless because nobody can fix this problem. Fifa seems to be a solution but i dont like the gameplay. Guess i be playing COD then, THANKS KONAMI! THAT'S HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS!
