This is for a normal Xbox 360 not hacked or modded and you will need all the most recent konami updates (December 2010 Data pack 2.00)

I gurantee your question will be answered.
Common issues.. I call it the 228 error but its basically that my option file has over 300 files and all the USB tools avaliable to import/ extract data will not let you transfer more than approx 200 files at a time.
###YOU MAY NEED TO TRANSFER ALL MY FILES INTO YOUR XBOX 360 HARD DRIVE IN 2 OR 3 STAGES AND NOT ALL IN ONE GO!!###
(ANY XBOX 360'S WITH HARD DRIVES BELOW 20GIG MAY NOT DISPLAY ALL THE KITS CORRECTLY.. DONT ASK, IT WASTES TIME, JUST TRUST ME PLS)
If your having any major problems with the USB software you downloaded, please try and ask a question on the forums where you dloaded the software from as the developers should be at hand to give you 1st hand advice.

v3 Multiple Choice coming soon
The way it works is you will get choices for each official version of v3
Regardless of what version you choose, each will contain everything from v2
All teams will have the correct kits 100% but it’s your choice which league you want and what takes priority over the other.
Due to space limitations with team emblems slots, we have to compromise.
For example if you have v3 Daymos Bundesliga then you can choose version (a) or version (b).
Version (a) - All npower team emblems complete with no emblems for the Bundesliga teams.
Version (b) - All Bundesliga emblems will be complete with no emblems for the npower teams.
Help is always appreciated so please email me if you would like your name on the score sheet :)
Comfired so far is:
v3 Daymos - Bundesliga
v3 Wolf Cesar - Portuguese League
v3 Matbianco - Scottish Premier League
alto because these are the official versions of v3 they are fully interchangable so once you have all the uniform data installed, you need to swap only the edit data to get the league of your choice.

Id prefer this forum not to go that route as I have limited knowledge on the subject and only deal with legit consoles

HI Daymos... if you want you may use may Bundesliga option because I worked a lot with the correceted players... I created CSKA and Lokomotive in other leagues too..I think everybody would like having these teams in your V.3 Bundesliga option.... see you!!!

The file is small in size
Only approx 100mb
The reason the 20g Xbox 360 hard drive is so important is not because of storage space issues but for compatability issues.

So let's start by giving you a compliment for this great work! Of course i didn't send you a message just to say thanks; i have a question to ;)
I can relate the LCEMBLEM01 - 20 to the 20 slots you have to store your customized league or cup emblems (duh). The 293 files with uniform in it are the sponsors you can put on the kits.. those numbers are the same as well... But there are 46 slots to create club emblems and there isn't a list with 46 'same named' files...
So my question; I want to use your emblems for the Premier League teams and the missing ones in Italy and Spain. And to make it even more difficult; I want to keep the emblems i created (ingame) for the Bundesliga as well.
Since i'm bombarding you with lots of words already; I'm very curious about something else to. You also deleted the (fake) players which appear real (at club) and fake (in their homelands team). I am stuck with 250 unregistered players. about 80 of them i changed into real players with help of pestool 2010. How can i delete those other players?

So what you're saying is that i can't get the emblems out of the data. But how do you open that file to remove the dubble players? Cause i should be able to do that then.

How do you move all the file across in 3 parts? I can either do all of them by adding the 0000001 file in one go, or 1 at a time..

I have big problem. i'm copying 1by1 file (thank the usb pen i found again:) ) like i did with v1. only when i arrive to the UNIFORM198 it crash xtaf gui. don't add any file more. Why? what's wrong.
p.s. there is a way for copy all folder and not file 1by1?

Can i just ask i have only bought the game so i have none of your previous option files for pes 2011 and i also have not downloaded any of the konami updates. Should i do the konami updates first and then just transfer your v2 to my hard drive but i don't need the earlier versions first??
Can i ask when i try to open rapidshare link it tells me the file is damaged or wrong format. Last year i had same problem and you e-mailed me the files. Can you do that again mate please and then i can transfer using my Datel transfer kit?

Dude I need to put some sort of disclaimer everytime I talk about 20gb hard drives.
I'm trying to give people the heads up because many email me with their 4gb machines.
It's too long to explain why your hard drive has to be over 20gb
I'll try and explain it
This game does not show all the kits if loaded directly from an external drive.
Anything below 20gb is seen almost like an external drive by the Xbox 360 meaning you will have the issues stated above.

If you are using Xport, sometime they crashes when you copy Files over 20 or 30.. try to copy every 10 files.. its working on me before.. :D

In the game itself you should see it flashing up telling you that there is new content avaliable
while in the game do all the updates avaliable to you.
Im assuming you didnt do the 2nd ireland kit konami update.

Daymos i got the usb in post but when i went to install it it asked me to configure it which it says will wipe it!! Is this correct. Help!!

Nope it doesnt give me that option. It simply wants to format it to make it suitable for Xbox 360!
And Gar05 you will find the it in extra content section. It should mean you get version 1.02
Is states that I dont have any updates to download in the extra content. Now I can load the stadium content from my memory card and only 2 of the strips but nothing else!?

Just to nake sure, You should only be loading the data from the 360 memory card.
I have Version 1.02 and data pack 1.01 downloaded. Is there an update after these? I have copied the option file to my hard drive and loaded it from there. I have also tried to load it from my usb stick and it will load 2 of the strips, about 8 stadium thumbnails and a couple of emblems and thats it!?
all done! thans for the help. I had an old version of the option.bin file loaded so I have deleted that and used the new one which was extracted! Yes!! It looks great and ill be making a contribution.

Yes the xbo now supports USB's for game saves but not image import.

Copy everything in the v2 package and when it askes you to copy over all existing data, select yes
You need all files because some kits were tweaked and kit numbers were repositioned do if you copy a random half of data, you may end up with an arsenal kit with a Chelsea logo.. (well not really im just saying lol)

I overwrote all the files. Couldnt believe it, I highlited ALL of the files and put them onto my HD and it actually let me do 259 of them before it crashed. Will i be able to load it back up an just carry on from there?

You don't need v1 for v2 to work.
Although some have included this info in their fix process, v2 only relies on the konami updates to be intact.
Not taking anything away from those kind enough to post their step by steps because if you follow their guide exactly then chances are high you will get it working and that includes installing v1 before v2.
Personally I think there's some other element that causes it to work bilut hey lifes too short so if it works it works.
Oh and you can't just drag and drop the option file onto a USB, hence why many prefer to grab a ready made USB from me.

When does Bundesligav3 became ready? do you think in use default konami players to do Bundesliga or will you modificate the players? if you want I can help you...ok....If you want I can imput CSKA and Lokomotiv in your v3 and after I send you to you post.... I noticed that you can have all Barclays, Bundesliga, Spanish, Palermo, two team other legues (CSKA and Lokomotive) and still more two emblems that can be two Npower emblems...

Some are easy. Some are horrendous.
You think it's fine then save it ont the shirt and realise it looks nothing like.
Round Emblems are the best place to start, they're easy enough to do.

Make sure you don't load direct from the USB stick.. Oh and make sure your Xbox 360 har drive is more than 20g (read page 1 regarding 20g pls)

Some of the things I've tried:
1. Injected whole folder into usb (rather than 1 file at a time)
2. Injected single files into usb (but not all as there were about 300 and I wanted to see if it was working before I spent time copying all files over 1 at a time)
3. Tried playing game directly from usb
4. Tried playing game directly from Xbox hard drive
I've tried lots of different ways to get this to work apart from copying every single file over 1 at a time as I dont want to spend ages doing this only to find that it hasn't worked again.
For example if I only copied the emblem dat files onto the usb should that show me the emblems in game or do I need to copy all files over?

Sounds like youve spent some time on this one..
Try copying just the 1 edit data file into your hard drive and also couple of emblem data (this is the league / cup logos)
Also copy 7or 8 uniform/ strip data files (these are the prints on the kits)
Now load up the game and let me know if you can see the arsenal kit and in think villa and Chelsea.
Never load from a USB as nothing will show up and what size is your xbox 360 hard drive?

I then inject the files into the 000000001 folder (the ones you suggested), put the usb back in my xbox, check the saved game data on my usb and its still showing as 92kb.
I'm sure that on 1 of my attempts earlier I had 7mb showing on my usb with a edit file on the stick but I don't know what I did differently.

Try formatting your usb stick?
Quick questions for you Daymos. Do you know which are the Chelsea files so I can just copy and paste rather than doing the whole process again. Also do you know how to change the number colors from shirts? Wigans shirt is black but the number also is black, did I do something wrong?

Like I said, on one of my attempts the file size on my usb after injection was 7mb and I'm sure there was some kind of edit file aswell as the saved game file but I don't know what I did to make that happen.

I seriously can't run a support forum for all the many data transfer methods avaliable especially if you have missed some points on page 1 such as installing all the konami updates 1st before anything or not trying to load the option file direct from the USB.

Wow! This is simply amazing stuff. Hats off to you my friend.
I actually took the time to read your first post and what I did was I split your downloaded folder into two parts basically, moving half the files to another folder and keeping half in there. Then what I did was use the Xtaf transfer program to transfer the first half of the folder (178 files), onto my USB Drive. Then took the USB drive, plugged it in my xbox and copied the whole PES folder to my hard drive. Then took it out my xbox and plugged USB back into my computer and used Xtaf again to transfer the second half of your folder (171 files) onto my USB drive. Then took the USB drive and put it in my xbox and again copied the whole PES folder onto my xbox hard drive.
Now, when I look at my PES folder on my xbox hard drive, all 349 files from your download are in there. All kits are loading perfectly, even the ones I had problems with in previous versions when I didn't know about the 228 error!

Someone asked me if he could post up a tutorial, go ahead but unfortunatly as you know there is not one way to do things and theres so many possible factors to consider that can cause issues from your version of windows to your version of USB software to not reading the 1st page etc. Some people can only transfer files 1 by 1 when others are able to do at least 180 without crashes.
Either way im glad you got it sorted man,

Just started a become a legend game and I've noticed the championship isn't in the league setup, I just get the normal PES League with the default teams. I have the option file loaded and everything else is fine, just wandering if that's the same for anyone else?
It would be cool to have the championship league in with all the other leagues..

It doesn't depend on the OF...
You'll have to set the Pes League before starting your game. Option menu in PES main page, opton, or edit... modify leagues... or something like that, and transfer the teams you'd like to have in your game... if you already started a game u'll have no chance to change it anymore.
National squads are now corrected and will be fine for all versions of V3.

The Championship teams are in the Division 1 league, not the PES League. Just started a master league and I didn't have to edit any league structure it was all done already by Daymos.

The good thing is that you can edit the league structure so next year when the new season starts, it will be easy to edit the team position rather than build the team from scratch.

I think professional gives a good challenge but leaves my arsenal team position 4-8 whereas regular has me top of the table but winning too easy.

If you mean konami update then this was created after the most recent update.
If your refering to the konami gameplay bug fix update or any xbox dashboard updates then it does not matter as they do not affect this option file.

I am using the xport datel transfer kit to get v2. Can you tell me step by step how you did it. I am trying everything and it is drivin me insane! I am able to get v2 but some of the kits are missing so it's not complete.
I play on Professional at the mo, but kinda thinking it's too easy, as I dominate every game. Think I'll give Top Player a go.
I've been playing a few games now on level 4 and I can have a good challenging game based on my style of play. Eg Trying to use skills and lob the keeper etc but if I behave and play simple then it's easier
I'm happy with my balance on professional now.

hi daymos... did you remember when you said to I tell you what I thought that was wrong in your option... so I was playing with your v2 npower and I noticed that the two Germany teams (wolfs and stuttigart) are with created players but We have a lot of perfect Bundesliga players in hidden classic players like Diego, Gentner, Delpierre etc so I think that you need to use them instead of created players... good look and if you need help I 'm here...

The option file I got to work wasn't this one it was Dragonskins but I'm sure I've worked it out now so I was wondering if anyone had tried both option files and if Daymos file was better than Dragonskins?

I can't answer those kind of questions but if you ask me what makes my file special then the list is endless lol

Daymos I just checked the Liverpool away kit again. It has Stoke City's sponsor on it, 2 badges overlapping and there are no vertical pin stripes.

Especially now all international names and kits are now on par.....and most mistakes are ironed out in v2!!!

As you explained the issue you had was the wrong download content.
Just make sure you have actually done all the konami updates (some people still don't realise there is 2 updates with the same date and description) then install the v2 file.
And you should be fine

yes I did have a previous option file and I had the same problem as someone else earlier in the post ie.. liverpool away strip...etc
so i completely wiped everything and did a fresh install even my saved games.... Just cant seem to get the black gk kit as the yellow one always clashes with the away kit.
Apart from that everything else has been corrected...
Very strange problem because any logo could have showed up on the chelsea goal keeper kit from another team.
The fact that your seeing the Chelsea away logo on the keeper kit is coincidental.
Are you sure you did both October konami updates?
And can't you just load up the correct kit data in edit mode?

Sure this questions been asked before but couldn't see it! Will this file download/ transfer ok using a Mac?
Also any danger of Wolves chants on here?! If not how d'you make them? I heard of people on FIFA transferring the sound from videos on youtube to do it (using Dirpy I think) is this the best/ easiets way?

Hi daymos & other guys.. could anyone upload the Konami update file for November Update?
because its really help a lot, and its impact the gamplay also (such as cursor switching, shot power attribute) . and Since my Xbox cant go Online, and dont know someone in my country that could download it..
It would be really appreciate if i could have it , since it will help any other guys that cant download it also.. :)
The November gameplay fix patch was automatic and was compulsary if you wanted to play the game while connected to live.
Where it downloads to is not known to myself as it's not in the PES/WE2011 folder.. Unless it blends with the system or edit data?
Chants
Arsenal has 160 files in there but some chants appear 2 or 3 times
This is because in a real game you can hear a main song 3 or 4 times in 30 mins due to different parts of the stadium reigniting the same song.
I'll make a video this holiday showing the exact chants per team and the song in question.
The good thing is that the chants can be tweaked just like that so if a player moves club.. So does the chant as long as the clubs name isn't mentioned in the song.
Also some chants last 10 seconds where full blown song sung 3 or 4 times may last a minute..
I'm limited in making the chants respond to the in game action although many times you get a nice coincidence in the timing.
Sometimes if it's quiet for a minute or so you may hear the crowd sing these songs for a bit.

So since its not obvious what I'm saying ill explain.
There is an unspoken thing between option file makers called Respect.
Now its not really good practice to talk down on another mans OF creation (unless provoked) as he’s only expressing himself creatively just as I am, so all can share the hard work.
However although my file isnt perfect I’m confident on my level of quality being one of the highest on the Xbox 360 (barring the patches that have logos on shorts and socks etc as they are brilliant)
All the option file makers out there create their own stuff or they base their file on someone else’s with permission usually when they choose to take the file in a different direction to the original creator.
For example, last year some people used my v1 as a base to do their stuff when I was using v2 and v3.
Naturally the creator knew he wasn’t messing up my plans because whatever he was creating was not conflicting with my work or any work to come thats why he had my blessing.
Now you've openly described your plans to take anyone’s file for instance my v3 and make changes and realise it.. WTF..
Everyone is free to make any changes as many do and add their pub teams etc but they never re-release it.
There’s a guy making a file with the 2nd Dutch league over my npower file and he has my full blessing because what he is doing is different to me and I think is brilliant for the fans.
Why would you want to release what I’m doing already with my file when it’s not your work to begin with?? Your actions would only flood the market with clones?
This part you just don’t understand.
Ill explain in a bit more detail what I think.
I’ve been making files for a few years now and I actually conduct market research so I know weather its worth making the next version etc.
If no one downloads my file then it means there’s no point in releasing it and ill only make it for myself at home... for example.
When an option file is released you get many downloads within the 1st month.
Lets call it 10
Now when v2 comes out the numbers get less and less possible due to people being happy with what they have already of perhaps they just don’t want the haste to install it etc.
So for v2 lets call it 5
Now when there’s a release in the New Year Jan transfer window you get about 2 or 3
Now back to having respect for other option file makers.
I knew dragonskin was making the bundesliga file and I knew I wanted to make both the npower and bundesliga file.
I could have made the bundesliga 1st but I chose to make the npower 1st and 1 of the reasons was so dragonskins file and mine were not the same.
People could have a choice.
Then people like you come along and rape our hard work and take the piss.
Now you asked to contribute / dictate towards my v3 file and from your comments and actions over the last few months your just not worthy to join my team. (this is nothing to do with technical ability although that does not help you either)
I wouldn’t be able to trust you with my master file.. You’ve probably release the half finished copy when I’m asleep.
Matbianco and Wolf_Cesar are gents and we have a structured plan to bring 3 versions of v3 with 2 options either way. As explained on the 1st page.
There may be a lot of confusion but we are confident that between the 3 of us we can minimise the fuss and the option file will be very good.
Also because we all use the same kit data it means people only need to swap the edit data if they want to swap files to use another league.
If someone were to take only the edit data from another OF then all the kits would be messed up meaning you would have to swap every file.
Now edu I know you have a following of 2 or 3 people if I remember correctly who said the npower isn’t important also they said quality emblems are not important.
That’s fine but adopt your methods with your own file that you worked hard on and created… NOT MINE!!!
I’ve failed to mention that if you release my file before I release what i’ve been planning for months.
It may mean v3 isn’t worth the sweat the 3 of us are putting into it.
If someone came and said can they release a version of MY file with either the Portuguese or Scottish league id say exactly the same thing.

There’s people selling crap files with no pics on the net and also there’s people selling an old version of my file.
I’ve now put my file on ebay to combat these fakes I don’t really make major money as such but these fakes are charging £15 or £12 for one of these files and I cant stand there and see people either get a crappy file or see someone benefit from mine.
I have put this on ebay for much cheaper and I break even so everyone is happy.
Now I have bought some stock to cover me until Jan/ Feb.
Because I actually have videos, links to these forums and also my facebook page, people know I’m actually Daymos
So now before people buy blindly on ebay, they prefer my file, as they know its legit, plus I send them free updates.
Now if you release your quick fix low quality file based on mine then you will also mess up my fanatical plans.
Ebay will be filled with npower / bundesliga fake files and unless your planning to cover me for my lost expenses then don’t do it.
Again I’m not sure if you understand so ill explain one last time.
Imagine we are both filmmakers.
I have made the Matrix and it was a big film.
Years later I make the Matrix Part 2 and it’s a big hit spawning the animatrix which you created and loads of conspiracy and theory’s about the hidden meanings.

Now because you can’t wait you make your version of the Matrix Part 3 and plan to release it as a stopgap until my film releases weeks later.
Your film wont have the special effects and wont be up to the same standard but its there for the fans.
Ok but if this doesn’t happen in Hollywood does it. No because there’s a thing call common courtesy between creative people.
Why don’t you make a spin off of your own film and create a mini series or something.
As you don’t understand, I do not consent to what you want to do only because of the timing. I do not wish for it to tarnish my hard work and when I tell people here v3 with the Bundesliga they would say nah it’s alright my mate gave me that already.
However if your people wish for you to send to them individually that’s up to you.
Some may think I take this seriously, I do especially when Ive spent too many hours to offer a free service and all my planning and hard work can get compromised just like that.

first of all I was just a fan who found an option that mixed high quality emblems and kits. I just found a poor germany option and your job without Bundesliga. So I decied to try mix germany option with Drago kits and emblems and your colours system... I needed to remake all of things including kits... finaly I got without a high quality emblems... When the gyus knew about they asked me to upload to them and I started to be a master and I created CSKA and Lokomotiv. However i alwys give importance to emblems and kits and I needed a option better. so I was wating your v3 but it is so late however i know the difficult to do high quality options... So I decided to creat a better Bundesliga with high emblems and kits and includin more players. i got and I havinh fun... I wanted people enjoy too but i respect you and I won't to launch it. But I asked you please, be sooner that you can because peolpe whole world is waiting ok....
Other thing: I always admired your job... Only one more time I said that Drago was better than you v1 because some guys in your forum said this but In your V2 I thought you won in quality etc...
so If I respect you I wish the same... you need trusting im me... If I offer help is because I wanted help you to make Bundesliga soon just it, understood???

I've just created more 4 Bundesliga teams: dortmund, leverkusen, shalke 04 and Hambuerger...I also created two russian teams cska and lokomotive so I added to your of v2 npower... So i din't creat a v3...I just add 4 BL temas and Bundesliga logo and two russian teams so we have now adding yours 6 german teams more bayern and werder..and two russian teams...
if I din't creat whole Bundelisga why not launch this like v2 B????
I can send you this option to you look and after you can release like v2 b until you finish and relise v3 so all the people can be happy and your plains will not harm.... think it's our guys who love pes...

If someone can give me some advice I will be forever grateful.
I've spent the last three days trying to figure out how this whole option file thing works (I usually just edit names of clubs).
I finally manged to get one of Daymos OF's up and running only to find that while all the team names and emblems had been updted, only Arsenal's kit was fully completed - all the rest were missing the shirt sponsers etc.
I've since tried the Daymos newest OF (kit-fix) but I am now met with a message telling me that the data I am trying to load is from a different version - my game is version 1.02
Can anyone please help me out? I really want this OF as it looks awesome!!!!!!!!

2) make sure you download all konami updates available as of today.
Don't look at the numbers, if it let's you download then do it.
Then try the file and you should be there if not really close.

When will V3 be out? Does the upcoming DLC of tomorrow erase your OF? May be you have already stated that so sorry to bother you.

I can help Daymos make bundesliga but daymos doesn`t want my help and second I`m upset because I can`t help and I can`t do bundesliga but he will just realise bundesliga after transfers about february so all of people need to wait until february....so I will continue my bundesliga and i won`t launch anything however i will have my bundesliga soon... and I am doing bundesliga with high quality because I discoveried a new way to do emblems with collour etc....

Daymos keep up the good work. Btw i pressed "yes" after downloading the new DLC and your OF seems to be fine. I even changed a few players in the danish national team and they were not changed either.

On point 2, what updates are you talking about. Is it the 3 data packs with boot packs etc or is this something entirely different. If it's different where do I download the latest updates from?
The reason I ask is tha,t although I have got the option file to work, like a few others, I still have some kits which either don't have sponsors or are still the default ones eg Liverpool away doesn't have the sponsor or the vertical stripes, Blackpool has no sponsor and Middlesbrough just have a plain red home strip and a plain blue away

Hmm i noticed that Algeria didnt have their logo. I thought it was missing in the OF because it was not done. So my question is has Algeria kits been fixed or is it me missing some of the files.
Il be checking out waht files are missing if any are.

Nevermind I've worked out a way of doing it. I only had 198 uniform files on my usb. Got it all working now, sorry for the stupidity

I get the cards from a quality company and these ones with the chants are 2gb in size. (Chants take up almost a gig and a half)
Regarding brand, I didn't know there was a brand awareness attached with USB sticks.. Hard drive and memory cards yes but USBs I thought the main focus is that it works as a USB keys purpose is a quick save and go item, not intended as a serious back up tool for important data.
Just so you know I test all the cards and any issues your guaranteed by myself to have a USB working and that's even if someone accidentally erases the data too.

I have just reinstalled your patch again but Algeria is still missing their logo emblem. Another african team (South Africa i think) is missing too. I transferred the OF in two stages. For the rest it looks ok.

Have to ask before downloading, does this OF include stats from PESStatsDatabase by any chance? If not it doesn't matter, as i'll likely download it anyways as it's superb work (Although i'm a bit dissappointed that Ipswich aren't on it, but I'll try and add them myself somehow).
Otherwise, is there any way I can keep the stats on my current OF and transfer the rest of yours? (Likely not, right?)

Daymos, In my first Edu Madrid OF I didn't create all teams I've just used a germany option file mixed Drago OF and your system colours... but I created CSKA and LOKOMOTIV in it... there I used deafut konami and I created players with base from PESSTATSDATABASE (site) so I imputed corrected nationality etc. In madrid 2 I corrected all nationality to real nationality (because I like right players not all afegan).
In this moment I am creating a Bundesliga using you v2 npowere and I created all players so I know the dificult about stats... But this option is just to me....
I would like to help you in V3 if you want.... I live in Brazil so when you are sleeping I can make seomething to your v3... I'd like you finish your v3 soon for me and all enjoy PES2011...But without press...I can wait...I'll use my file (that I created) still there. cool!!! and send me a message if you'll need my help...

Sounds like you have already downloaded the konami update that came out yesterday (21/12/10)
You have to instal my file before yesterdays konami update.
I'm a Bristol City fan and wanted to use this update but I have all 3 updates. Does this mean I can't use this update any more as I really want the championship teams :(?

Just erase the 3 konami updates and reinstall the 1st 2..
Then install my file>>>>
Then install the 3rd konami update..>>
Or wait until I update the file hopefully tomorrow or in a couple of days.

Hi all got the usb in the post a few days ago :D and tried to load up following the " installation help " letter and no joy :no: . 1st of all i was having the same problem as Jccondep -
I installed your option file but it tells me that this "Unable to load because the data is from a different version. Please download new content and update the date".
But then was reading up and erased the whole game from harddrive and
started again as in this post here -

I've got the December update so the option file won't work for me. Any news on when the option file will be compatible or how I delete the December update?
Generally if you erase the data updates then install the ones you need that's te theory
But it's quite tricky and unless you delete the system data too you may run into problems going backwards.
Ill try and post it up soon but I've been so busy and I haven't even had time to create a v3 Bundesliga post either.
Uploading sounds simple but could take 30 to 60 mins for some odd reason.
Edit### email me and that will be the best quick fix for both of us if I email u the file. :)

Hehe well with crimbo and the new year i thought ill give u a brake and try to find out myself :blush: (esp with all the fine work you have been doing to get this together ). I did also have a cupple of times an error when loading up and then gave it 1 more try ( if that didn't work thats when i was going to try to email you :blush: ) .But all sorted now thx ,and now my mission to create Luton Town :w00t . ive updated the 1st page link so you can now install the december konami data update, then install my file
you no longer need to worry about the confusing november data updates.
i fixed some more kit issues with the odd wrong shirt numbers colours and hairstyles etc but i didnt call it v2.1 because the changes were not massive and i just wanted to get the file out there to avoid confusion with the correct instillation order..

ps v3 Bundesliga info will come very soon but things are just returning back to normal after a busy holiday period.
The Scottish file is out already.. go check it out as its top class, :)
A bumper pack of some sort will be released when all the v3 files are complete and it will explan the easy ways to bounce in between files. (i hope lol)

I'm not sure where you've read your installation instructions from but it sounds like you following a mixture of instructions given to many people to fix their own individual wrong turns.
Ok so when you copied the data from the USB into the console what happened?
Did u get an error msg?
Remember I have some spare cards if you need less hastle. Did you manage to get all the files on the USB?? Count them because I'm guessing you haven't read about the 228 error ... Don't worry about that for now.
You game should say data pack 2.00 when you get to the games title screen.

Thanks for your reply. I will outline how we did the transfer. At no time have I had any errors appear.
1. Downloaded xtaf to pc
2. Maybe not necessary but I deleted all files on the HD associated with PES2011
3. Formatted usb to the xbox 360 (120gb elite)
4. Loaded up the first two official datapacks to take the game to V1.02
5. Set up an MLS league then saved data to usb which created 00000001 in the data partition of the usb stick
6. Downloaded 00000001.zip from the rapidshare link
7. Injected all 349 files into the newly created 00000001 file on the usb stick
8. Plugged usb into the xbox and copied all files to the PES2011 folder on the HD
9. Game loads up fine but the strips are still the default strips.
10. Checked the HD folder for PES2011 and all the emblem and strip files are present

The file on page 1 works with the third data pack (data pack 2.00)
Download the 3rd data update (21/12/10 uk)
Then try and copy the edit data again.
When you say it loaded up fine, did it not say unable to load as edit data is from a different version?

How did u create the folders in your USB?
You copy a file in the PES/WE2011 folder from your hard drive and you copy something unto your USB (edit data for example)
Now when you copy the contents from the PES/WE2011 folder in your USB
(heres where people like to go wrong)
If you go to the root of the USB your options are (excuse if not exact wording)
Remove device
Transfer content
And some other stuff
Now DON'T DO EITHER!!!
Transfer content just puts an image of your USB into your hard drive so it's there but not really there.
Now from the route of the USB press A and you will see the PES/WE2011 folder now if you press Y
You get the option to
Move
Copy
Delete
Now don't move or you will loose the data if something goes wrong so just select copy and you've done the right thing.
Now if you go inside the PES/WE2011 folder, you will see all the files individually
YOU DON'T NEED TO COPY 1 BY 1
Now this is general Info aimed at all
Ive helped 100s via email and all I ask is to do as I say each step at a time.
I had this guy all day making the wrong moves missing out vital things I tell him like not to copy 1200 files 1 by 1 and because he transferred content you need to simply copy the data into your USB and then back again to your hard drive the correct way.
Didn't this dude copy them all back 1 by 1 twice after I told him not to as i explained how to move the whole folder in one go.
like I have 4 hours to wait for an email reply after each msg.
I have a 99% success rate and this dude bought a USB to make things worse.
I'll help anyone and even a lady who did it for her son got it working as she followed my instructions and didn't try to guess the next step.
Ahh never mind I hope he replies today so I can get it working and close the case lol
Dude this rant isn't aimed at you but I'm hoping this will help whoever may need the info

Many thanks for you help. I wiped everthing put the 3 data packs on, formatted the usb and saved a MLS league game onto the stick. My only issue was that I could not tinject the files from file 00000001 into the stick without it appearing to crash. I did wait about 15 minutes before trying again but moving the fies across 1 by one. It seemed happy with this and after then copying the files to the HD I then started the game. Heh presto!!! the kits were in. Not sure why I had to do the 1 by 1 as I see you say it is not necessary but luckily for me it worked this time.

Hey Guys. Just dl'd V2 this morn. Formatted a 2 gig and a 4 gig stick.. I have all the konami updates n everything. Used Xtaf just like on V1.1 but when I put the stick from PC back into the X-Box its ID name is UNFORMATTED! Any help or ideas appreciated!

When I said 1 by 1 your correct.. Using staff you need to do 1 by 1 sometimes.
What I was refering to was the guy I was helping had the file on a USB with all the files in place.. It was when he tried to copy all the files from the USB to HD he did it 1 by 1
Anyone having problems with xtaf pls drop me an email my address below with the name of your version of windows so I can help you.
I have a non xtaf method I'm writing a tutorial for but required you to follow a few steps and takes about 15-30 mins if you follow all instructions.
End result is that you will have a working version of my option file on your own USB.
Ps I will have to charge a couple quid for this service as it can take up hours of my family time bouncing many emails back and fourth but for now if your stuck ill help you for free this week until it's rolled out in the future.

If you don't have Internet or was banned you can still download the updates.

Yes,i know ,and i know how to use all this programs about USB,HDD with no mistakes at all (i am not a newbie to the things) and tried all of them(downloading and istanlling),but there are no way up to this date,to make data pack 2.00 to work on non jtag X,downloaded from the net : ( That was the bad point..I am of thinking of knowing the map of the pes files and somehow use the EDIT file form 1.01 data pack,and to change my old fiiles with some new graphics(like your emblems) with GGS,but i am not sure this will work..

Had some problem with transfering the files to the usb pen. "Inject folder" just crashed the xtaf so I injected 1 by 1, and copied them in 3 parts.
Now it works fine, and codus to Daymos!
The only thing I would put my finger on is the general rating of Npower teams.
I think they are generally to low. I used data from pes stats database and tweakt most teams.

I am looking to start an offline master league but want to wait til the final polish OF's are produced by yourself and others.

I think Daymos mentioned this on the first page it has to do with the memory capacity of your xbox.
You can not play the game from the memory stick and you need like 120 gb of HD memory on your box...
I dont know whether its an memory issue or not but not every internal team has their logo or emblems. No real names for classic teams.
Is it only me?

I am bit confused now about your latest OF.
Some national teams like South Africa and other teams dont have their logo or emblems.
Is that because of my xbox where i have 18 gb memory?

Thats weird i didnt transfer all files in one. I divided the file in 3 and then transferred.

There is no need to be rude just because i give up and chose another OF. Bottom line is i want to "patch" my game but after using a whole day and getting nowhere it doesnt make any sense for me so trying another solution is evident.
I think your work is great but i dont like your last post.
What is the point of making the best OF in the world if only 50% can use it? I downloaded Dragonskins OF which has less than the 300 files so Im happy now but no need to be abusive.
My point here was that i was not able to make it work despite all efforts. This might be due to lack of capacity on the xbox (18GB) but you never answered whether this could be the reason for my problems.

Okay guys i need help. I got to the stage where its loading the data on the xbox but it says I need a different version or something. I suppose this has something to do with the Konami patches? However I haven't got internet connection on my xbox so can't get it to update automatically ? Anything I could do ?
