Evening ... this isn't for your favourite albums or favourite tracks from an album. Its for albums you can listen to without having to skip tracks.

For me, its "Hot Fuss" By the Killers, Its not my favourite album by a long shot but track for track its one of the few albums I don't skip tracks on.

01. Jenny Was A friend Of Mine
02. Mr. Brightside
03. Smile Like You Mean It
04. Somebody Told Me
05. All These Things That I've Done
06. Andy, You're A Star
07. On Top
08. Glamourous Indie Rock & Roll
09. Believe Me Natalie
10. Midnight Show
11. Everything Will Be Alright

First 9 tracks are in my opinion (and that of any sane man or woman) facking excellent.

Easy one.

Pink Floyd - Dark Side of The Moon
Frank Zappa - One Size Fit's All
Blues Brothers - Briefcase Full of Blues

I could easily list many more, but these 3 would be top of the list.

Pink Floyd, good call, a classic. I'm sure I'll take Pelters for this but 'Rio' By Duran Duran is a brilliant track for track album (listed in top 50 albums of all time no less) and Hybrid's "Wide Angle" is another unskippable album.

The holy trinity for me would be

Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
Nas - Illmatic
Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon

but, as fick, I could name shitloads of them :D

A.A. Bondy's "When The Devil’s Loose" album just amazes me everytime I listen to it. It's understandable why it's my most played album on my iTunes.

Bon Iver's "For Emma, For Ever" is another superb one, obviously it has it's stand out tracks like "Skinny Love", but the other songs on it are top notch.

Jay-Z - Blueprint 3
Nas - Illmatic
Eminem - Marshall Mathers LP
Kanye West - Graduation
Tiesto - Elements of Life
Drake - Thank Me Later

I'd have to argue against a few of those choices, while Blueprint 3 is a good solid album, there's still some drops in quality, I mean I can listen to it all the way through no doubt without skipping but some tracks are quite average e.g. Real As It Gets, Hate, So Ambitious & Young Forever (particularly grinds on me to be honest).

Drake's Thank Me Later I'd have to question as well, I just couldn't say it's an album that's brilliant track for track.

An album not mentioned yet that is brilliant from start to finish:

Common - Be

Another I'd be tempted to mention, even if just for the production values:

Dr. Dre - The Chronic

uA - 1905
11-12-2010, 22:20
Muse - Origin of Symmetry

1. New Born
2. Bliss
3. Space Dementia
4. Hyper Music
5. Plug In Baby
6. Citizen Erased
7. Micro Cuts
8. Screenager
9. Darkshines
10. Feeling Good
11. Megalomania

Well, I might skip Feeling Good :)

Definitely.

Others:
Black Keys - Rubber Factory
Dredg - Leitmotif
Frank Black - Frank Black
John Frusciante - Curtains
Karma To Burn - Karma To Burn
Kyuss - all 3 albums
Opeth - Blackwater Park and Damnation

Queens of the Stone Age - Self titled and Rated R

Yeah but Around the sun was a more experimental album and on the whole is stronger as an overall listen. Automatic for the people is a classic, and rightly so, but mainly because it has four of REM's biggest and iconic hits on it.

Good shouts with 'Hot Fuss' and 'Origin Of Symmetry'. The former is full of catchy songs.
