Thnx, now is 50's album get rich or claim benefit(i mean die tryin) betta thanthe g unit album i think so. and one big probz is zat i know most of the lyrics for the first 11 songs than i dont cos on my stereo i get bored and i change cd so now i play random.
Im not sure, i like them both as much as each other, but get rich or die tryin' probably has the edge...
all of these commercial rappers suck, the best rap comes from the underground hungy cats, especially the Bay Area & California rappers such as E-40, C-Bo, Yukmouth, Above The Law, MC Ren, X-Raided, Brotha Lynch Hung and Rap-A-Lot also keeping it real down south with ppl such as Scarface & Z-Ro who are the best from the South at da mo

This thread is diffrent to the HipHop thread, this is for the commercial side, and the other thread is for the non-commercial part of rap, like Talib Kweli, Cypress Hil ect... :)
You can talk about Eminem, 50 cent, jay-z ect... in this thread, as i explained in the first post. :)
The answer to you question is the HipHop thread is 'yes' they have completed it, it will be released April 27th, it will be called 'D12 World'

It sold more than any other debut hip-hop album? Are you sure? I think your statistics might be flawed.
Either way, it didn't deserve that sort of success - it's not very good. Each to their own, but I really don't see why people like 50 Cent. Lyrically? Average at best. Technically? Poorer than an Ethiopian homeless rebel living abroad without a passport. He's got very little variation to his flow, and the beats are mediocre. There isn't enough variety of subject matter across his album - there's a tune called "Poet Laureate II" by Canibus which probably contains more lyrical content than 50's whole album.
What is it everyone likes about 50 Cent? I'm interested to find out.

Lloyd Banks 'The Hunger For More' has been pushed back to drop in June 2004. Previously it was mentioned the set date was May 25th.
