So I see Michaels is the first name. Fair enough, but I thought they were going with a Crockett/WCW theme this year, what with it being in Atlanta and all. Having a bunch of guys like Anderson, Simmons, and Blanchard, and yet having Michaels headline the thing, would be just like Vince. He'd have to have a WWF/E stalwart overshadow WCW legends on the night.
I'm hearing Sting, and a potential match with Undertaker. Could be great, but it would be sad for Sting to have one WWE match and lose it. I say go an hour and call it a draw. Frankly if anyone should disrupt Taker's streak, it's Sting.
That's exactly what I thought when I saw he was going in. I almost hope the WCW guys reject the invitation out of protest and mess up Vince's plans.
I can't see Taker/Sting happening. I don't think Sting feels like he could put on a match worthy of it's billing anymore.
I'd guess that Sting is still contractually tied to TNA. Because I'm sure both parties would be happy with him going into the HoF.
I guess Vince doesn't want to use this WCW theme until Sting is available. He could have used Goldberg as the main attraction, but Sting is the bigger name and should be the one to headline a WCW class.
I think Arn and Simmons will definitely be in this year.
Sting/taker, while a dream match, just ain't gonna happen. Undertaker will barely make it back in time for WrestleMania, and he's got plenty of loose ends to tie up after being buried alive again. Unless they reveal Sting as behind Nexus, which is nonsense.
Sunny is rumoured to be in next. Always seem to get a woman in every year. Bit of a 'meh' inductee, suppose she should be.

I'm hearing Road Warriors (of course) and Abdullah the Butcher (slightly odder choice). Abdullah is no doubt a hardcore legend. Plus his humungous tits entrance me, they have no end.
He'll be inducted next year in his hometown.

I knew they'd get that fat disgusting cunt in at some point. How he gets in ahead of literally a hundred more deserving I'll never know.
Wow really? That's a joke. His acceptance speech should be good to watch, I bet he'll have a stroke!

Old Bullet Bob Armstrong is the next inductee. Not exactly a fan but I respect the guy for what he's done in and for wrestling down in the southeast area. Shame he gave birth to four shit bastard kids.
Drew Carey? What the fuck? :lmao:

I needed to see it myself to believe it.
This Hall of Vince seems to become more of a joke every year. So much for the NWA/WCW theme this year.
He only appeared once, right? :/

Sting probably told him to fuck off.

Hopefully this is a joke. If not, they just continue to grossly insult the likes of Rick Rude and Jake Roberts.

As far as I'm aware. How many appearances has someone like Cyndi Lauper made?
Sting probably told him to fuck off.
And, after last night, look who's laughing now. :joel:

No idea. I only remember watching the first wrestlemania, like five years ago and seeing her. But I think she used to do stuff with WWF on MTV.
Is she in yet?

I feel bad for Sting. He shows loyalty and then is handed that shit. He doesn't deserve that.
Abdullah The Butcher's the latest name to be going in. That's a step up at least.

Haven't I mentioned his tits for days before? I think Road Warriors will be the last one.

Shame Hawk's snuffed it. They'll probably roll out Paul Ellering.
So in the final analysis we have four deserving (Michaels, Road Warriors, Armstrong and Abdullah), one fat cunt mid-carder who everyone hated, one slut who is being awarded for her services to the locker room, and one repulsive fat cunt comedian? Could have been worse I suppose.
I thought Ellering was being inducted as well?
Yeah, Ellering is being inducted with them.
Road Warriors/LOD were great, but I'll always be a Demolition fanboy.

Look in terms of WWF/E Demolition were always more successful. The Road Warriors of AWA/NWA in the mid-80s were phenomenal, but by the time they came to WWF they were over the hill and probably viewed as Demolition imitators by most fans unfamiliar with the territories. My personal preference is always Demolition, along with the Steiners the greatest tag-team of all time no doubt.

Yeah, I'm not doubting their success and I know they were made before they came to WWF, but I'm just stating my preference.
The fact that I never saw AWA/NWA back then could be a factor.
I think the Beverly Brothers are being massively overlooked here.

Ah the old Minnesota Wrecking Crew 2. Last year I watched Superstars and Challenge from 1991 and 1992 just for their matches with jobbers, because the head spike could be rather brilliant:

Complete with double 'Oh No!'
That is seriously one of my favourite ever finishers, for the sheer fact it could've easily killed someone if it went wrong.
Their theme music is up there too.

Now that's a fucking finnisher! These days anything that lands you on your back from more than about two feet in the air is considered a show stopper.

I would argue that when it went wrong it was arguably 'right'.

Apparently Luger and Nikita Koloff were in attendance. Any pics?

DDP looks great. Koloff looks pretty well also, and Lex surprisingly looks a little better. Not as funny as I hoped.
