So I wanted to share my experience and detail what scripting seems to be.

1) When my points are significantly higher than the opponent the game puts you at a disadvantage in multiple ways.

2) The most overt disadvantage is the players responsiveness. Cursors do not change, AI players don't interfere
3) Most annoyingly in my experience it takes the player who receives the ball about one sec to pass it on at which point
a) The receiver is offside
b) The opponent interferes the late pass

4) The referees seem to give ridiculous freekicks
5) No matter how strong a pass you try to give your player kicks it like a 5 year old.

Now I am not sure to what extent some of these problems are lag problems. Playing in American servers I wouldn't be surprised we are having some issues between the US and Latin America.

What are your experiences like?

@ctanyol. Thanks for sharing your experience. These are from my experience:
1) I don't believe in it. I think it is psychological. You must learn to overcome it!! It is actually easier to focus if you are the weaker player (by points) because you know you have to fight to get a draw/win. Another thing to remember, some of the players with lesser points are actually good players. Just that they have lost points for various reasons (e.g. lost connection to server error!).
2) Actually, I disagree. I think you are probably not focusing enough on the game because you are anticipating a win (because you have higher points). Try thinking your opponent is better than you, and not you are better than them because you have higher division points. By the way, division points mean nothing.
3) Hint: Try changing your tactic for that game :)
3a) Not necessarily. Maybe their players could not keep up with your receiver so by nature you are offside more often. Or your opponent is more defensive focused.
3b) Probably your opponent is more defensive focused.
4) Perhaps you play too aggressively?
5) lag?
