Could my mortgage approval fall through?

Im using my VA loan. I was pre-approved on Dec 19th, found a house on Dec 24th made an offer and it was accepted the same day, gave earnest money,had everything verified employment,bank etc,had inspection, appraisal which came back fine, title work was ordered, secured home owners insurance, was approved through underwriting and have a closing date of this Thursday ...nothing has changed I have been with the same job for the past 15 years (Army) and my credit hasnt changed, i havent bought anything big...Is there any chance my loan can fall through?

Your Mortgage approval would/should have been given with a time limit. i.e. this offer is valid till.
