Okay so, I moved the computer to put a new desk together. Upon putting it all back into place, the CD/DVD drive has now disappeared off the computer menu and device manager. Wtf? Any ideas anyone?

Have you tried reinstalling the drivers?

Have you opened the case and checked the power cable and sata cable are still plugged in?

Or maybe it decided to destroy itself after you playing your terrible taste in porno on there. FatChixSuckDix..Come on man! You got better taste than that!

No I'll try all this later when I come home from work, except Dale's idea I've already done that.

And no Apps, it's all about the streaming porn.

Fixed it. I just took the side off, unplugged the drive from the motherboard and put it back in. Now it's fine.
