hello, BAL players
i had played BAL as a CF for 2 seasons(now play for EAST LONDON) so far, my highest Manager's rating is only 7.5, i want to get 8.0 or over, but no matter how hard i play, it seems i can only get 7.5 the highest, i just need to know what i do wrong in the game for not getting rating higher than 7.5.
i know following manager's game tactics and stratigies will help me get good ratings, like "give somebody's service he needs, or playing mainly on the left flank(something like that), but i really struggle with how to carry out manager's request in the correct way to get excellent ratings like 9.0 or maybe even 10.0,i mean i need specific instructions about what objectives i need to achieve to obtain ratings higher than 7.5.
Has anyone got ratings like 8.5, 9.0, even 10.0(top player level), plz let me know the secrets of doing so, thanks a lot.
Does anyone know how to get ratings higher than 7.5 from the manager(top player level), plz help me, thanks.

hello, BAL players
well, i think maybe my question is difficult to answer, never mind
there are times i am confused with how the manager's rating system works, i clearly remember in one(home game) of my league games againt Man united(top player LV), I scored 1 goal for my team, and after i was subtituded off at 71'min Rooney scored the equalizer at 86'min, the game ended with 1:1 draw, no probs with that. But what suprises me is my manager's rating for me is merely 6.5, i just dont understand why, because apart from scoring the only goal for my team,
i also constantly run back to backline to save my poor defenders asses, but i only got 6.5, i am not happy with that. maybe because i did not score the winning goal and put the game in the bag, i dont know.
in another match against lancanshire, i scored 2 goals and 1 assist,we won them with 3:0, my rating is 7.5, oh come on man, i deserve higher rating than that, not fair for me after playing out my skin for my squard.
so i reckon scoring many goals may not help you get a very high rating like 8.0 or higher(top player), certainly without scoring any goals wont help you get good ratings either. I am wondering what factors will determine the manager decision on giving me a rating higher than 7.5, definitely scoring and following manager's game strategy will help, but maybe there are something else, like hiring a good agent i guess.
the reason i want to get high ratings is if i have high ratings, my player will develop their skill stats faster, so i can play better in BAL.
i am not a good BAL gamer, so i look forward to answers from BAL fans.
any ideas or dicussions will also be welcomed here, thanks a lot

actually, i think that the highest rating possible is 8.5...

You should be pleased with an average rating of anything over 7.0, really. It's tough to get the high ratings.
The only time I ever got a 10 on a PES game (in a match), was back in PES 5 (or PES 6, I can't remember), with Park Chu Young for South Korea. Heck, getting above an 8.0 is hard enough these days!

Thank you guys for sharing experiences and opinions about the manager's ratings.
well, i will try to hire the most expensive agent later to find out if a good agent can help me get a rating higher than 7.5, but its gonna take qiuet a while, cause i am only in my 3rd season.
another thing is if later in the BAL game i scored 4 goals(top player, i doubt if i can), my manager's rating is still 7.5, then my manager must be as retarded as my teammates, i mean this rating system sometimes really sucks like hell. even so i am still very much addicted with BAL and pes game, all the best for pes 2012, hehe.

I've never managed above a 7.5, even in matches where I've notched 3 goals, 2 assists and tackled anything that dared come within 10 yards of my area. I've concluded it's impossible.

Ive had a few 8.0, but it tends to be where ive scored a late goal in a 1-0 win, rather than the games where you score a hatrick in a game your side dominates. As Ali said before you should be pleased with anything over a 7.0 :)

8.0 is quite "easy" to get. By easy I mean that I usually get it several times per season. I've gotten 8.5 too, but not often.. last time was on the 2010 version I believe. I have no idea what the max rating is, usually I would guess 10, but I've never seen it. Not to mention the AI averaging at 5.5 or so, makes a 7+ avg rating per season in BAL quite acceptable in my opinion.

I get lots of 7.5 at top player.. I am a CF/SS, and I usually score between 1 and 3 goals per match.. Sometimes I get 8.0, and those times I usually have been chasing players and gotten a few tackles in, and I've been successful in passing.. If you have, say 15 passes in a game and complete 12 or 13 of them, your rating will go up.. Also, if it's an important game like a cup match and you score the winning goal, and at the same time get many passes in and don't loose the ball so much, you'll probably get an 8.0.
I've also noticed that if I use the square button to make my teammates chase the ball and pressure the opposission, my rating drops for some reason.. (And my player gets tired faster for some reason, even though I'm standing still.. :-P)
So to sum it up, score, pass well, make a few interceptions, don't use the square button much and try not to loose the ball and you'll probably get an 8.0! ;-)
(PS. I've never gotten an 8.5, or seen anybody else get it in pes 2011... Are you sure that this is possible..?)

hardly the point Should it be near impossible to get over 7.5 rating?
shouldnt of somebody looked at this routine script or whatever and made a mod so that 10s and ever 1 2 and 3s are possible basically like the scoring system more sensitive, wouldnt of thought it would be that hard for some of the people who make some of these awsome mods..
dont you think ??
Many times I got 8 rating. But never 8.5. I don't know what is the scoring system running, because sometimes I only scored 1 goal to get 8 rating. Even, if you have hattrick doesn't mean that you can get 8 rating. Confusing enough, but challenging.

How many times would some of you say that you were dispossessed during a game in those 8.0+ ratings? In my 8th season and still looking to get one despite fantastic stats. Was sure I managed one a few games back I played. The stats for that match were something like
Goals: 1
Assists: 2
Shots: 5 (4 on net)
Passes: 24/28
Minutes: 90
Interceptions: 7 (Plus a bunch more clean tackles)
Fouls: 1
Touches: 61
Dribbled: 242 ft
Still only earned me a 7.5 and the ambiguous "Sloppy at times, clearly not cut out for possession soccer" manager feedback. Only thing I can explain it with is the handful of times I got the ball taken trying to dribble breakdown their defense?

One match, I take two shots at goal and both were misses. Manager said that I made several chances on goal. Then the very next match I took 6-7 shots at goal, all of which were on target (I was damn unlucky in this because I didn't score) and he says "A real let down. Did nothing noteworthy."

Hey guys, wanna know the kind of amazing result you'll need to turn in if you wanna score that sexy 8.0 rating?

Huh... All the mind-blowingly dominant games I've played in 7+ seasons and that's what winds up getting me my first 8.0? I thought I sucked...
edit: And then I started the next match and played 5 minutes before deciding to go to bed instead... didn't save :brickwall:
