You know the drill guys, put your name forward if you want to play.
Here's the basics ...
1. No start date in mind yet.
2. Suggestions for game names please.
3. Your feedback and opinions from the last game, in bullet point form only please.
4. There will be new rules in place for next game. Still in development but they will be more comprehensive.
5. I have a theme in mind for the next game already as well.

The rules will be observed a lot more this time round because the thread will be closed at night.
I prepare the majority of the write ups well in advance, the major fuck up in the last game was due to a power cut and rushing to get everything sorted when the power was restored ... but you're right, I will need to prep a little bit more to avoid any fuck ups :)

I think you should give it half an our after the day time lynch has been announced before you close the thread. Just so everyone can post their reaction and what not.
I'd maybe recommend something more 'human'. We don't really know the characteristics of supernatural 'things', but we do humans, which makes it a more understandable game, as it's essentially based on human reaction. I'd still be prepared to give something new a try mind.

Heres my thinking behind having Werewolves, not as complicated you'd think though ...
A Werewolf is a member of the werewolf faction, featured in Werewolf games. However, games with both Mafia and Werewolves (serving as a second mafia faction) as Informed Minorities have been played on MafiaScum: Mafia #19 is a good example.
One occasional variation is that the Werewolf Faction is actually a cross between the Mafia and the Cult, starting with one player and recruiting (biting) others, while also killing.
Sounds good to me.
Cowboys and Indians perhaps (Indians being the Townies of course).
Or we could be totally racist and make the indians the mafia :laugh:
Some good themes being mentioned ... could even do a Star Wars Mafia Wars :hmm:

I'm deadly serious. The drunk scene in Dumbo is one of the best in animated film history.
Drinking, good ol' bit of sneaky racism, what's not to like.
I coincidentally watched Dumbo on Blu-ray last night, and of course, it is definitely one of the all time great animated films. I'm not sure if it's my favourite as I've still quite a few Disney classics to go through, but I wouldn't argue against anyone who said it was the best. It's only 63 minutes long, but it's perfect. I especially loved the scene after Dumbo and his mother were seperated, and soon after Dumbo met back up with her (when she was locked in the cart), and their trunks reached one anothers and she cradled Dumbo in her trunk. One of the most beautiful scenes in any Disney animated film. :crymore:

Themes doesn't alienate people who don't know anything about it. You're still going to get an explanation for your role, so they won't be any issue.

It's just too much man, and it spoils it. I'm all for mass theory, but recently we've been taught at uni how to condense our word count, and 80% of what Amateur writes is not needed at all...
It spoils it for you and apparently for many other people, my idea of having fun via writing is definitely different to yours.
As a reader who has no stake in the game, it is entertaining to read the nonsensical decisions and funny comments; however, as a writer who has a stake in the game, the game gets quite dull when people start lynching each other for unconvincing reasons, because it makes the game too easy for the non pro town sides, which results in a lack of enthusiasm from my part due to personal preference, thus why my idea of having fun via writing is different to yours.
