my mate keeps quoting from it. he always says: "See you you fu**ing c**t, cut you first" or something like that. Yeah, its mostly about the Chelsea v Milwall cup tie or something. Its supposed to be quite recent as it has the tottenham shirt for last season. Is it any good Mutu?? :)

mutu

Is it based on the book by John King?

If so, I've read the book. Was great, and I hate books.

i watched a documentary about hooligans ages ago on Uk Horizons or something. It was talking about Lazio ultras & the Boca Junior fans just before they played Rome & River Plate. Each game happened to be on the same day too. It was great because it got to show you some proper rioting & fighting etc. Anarchy at its best :D

25-03-2004, 05:32
Dont you just love it when your watching the news, having your dinner and all of sudden theres a big riot and everyone is on the pitch... ok it hasnt happened much  but it was interesting when it did!! :D

These drunkens were trying to kick the police dude's dog  i would have prefered it edited 1st though!!

Still exciting!! :)

Ive seen it, brilliant film. Well violent but also funny in places too :D The finale of Millwall vs Chelsea is class :)

Danny Dyer is one of our best actors i think, every film i've seen him in he's done a great job. I love the film because it's all acting but you would think it's real. Can't wait to see the final version when its released on the 14th May :)

Finally someone else :) nice one danny

Well done for seeing it but i still think you're off your rocker, the funniest bit is obviously the Chelsea Juniors vs Millwall Juniors bit with the fight on the pitch infront of the kids

class :D

dannyboy20

Why am i off my rocker? lol didnt you like the film?

Yeah the Chelsea juniors vs millwall if funny...first the fight then them being nice as pie in reality :D

ChelseaDave

finally saw it the other day. That chelsea juniors bit is hilarious, with the split scene & stuff.
Its also funny when they r with the girls. once when they're young & later on in the film. The girl with rod goes "He's hung like a pike over here" and the one with tommy goes "Good for you, he's hung like a stickleback here". The fight at the end is good though, when he gets beaten up in the tunnel he keeps havin those wierd visions about. Its a quality film and i agree, Danny Dyer is a brilliant actor, he was good in mean machine aswell. Only letdown to the film was the sound-effects, they were funny because they were so bad :p

mutu

What kind of sound effects? ill have to watch it again

I told you why youre off your rocker danny because the Juniors match is the funniest bit and should have been mentioned ahead of the fight at the end :p

I forgot dyer was in mean machine but i also watched that again the other day (football/violence films trip or what) and noticed. Anyone know any other good films he was in?

Saying that i thought all the acting in football factory was top for a so called not "high budget film" so well done to them i say

ChelseaDave

watch the tottenham fight at the beginning, you'll notice that the punch sounds are really fake. not that it ruins the film or anything. i just picked up on it and thought it was funny.
I think danny dyer is in lock stock aswell. cant remember though.

dannyboy20
13-04-2004, 23:26
Yeah you're right, the actings great for such a low budget film, plus the violence is more realistic than bigger budget films.

Danny Dyer is in Human Traffic, clubbing/drug culture film...very good :D And was also in a very good clubbing drama/comedy on TV called Is Harry On The Boat? It was set in Ibiza, i loved it, wished they'd show it again.

Lots of talk about it on the Chelsea Chat page. When I was last up at Chelsea for the Boro game last friday I was speaking to a bloke who was in the film, he was with the cfcuk fanzine on Fulham Road selling pirate copies of it. Would've had it but didn't have enough money on me (I can't go to a game without buying a programme!).

what a stupid time to bring the film out, just before Euro 2004

i suppose all the real hooligans will love the film and think that it will be alright to do that sort of thing.

Fraz_Maitland
14-05-2004, 15:49
That film's great, thought the ending was pretty shite though (wont spoil 4 every1 by sayin it)

And Danny Dyer's in Human Traffic aswell, it aint a footy film but it is still pukka!

As opposed to bringing the film out when it wouldn't cause so much controversy and therefore wouldn't be watched as much.

Right, my copy got delivered today and just finished watching it.

Just a quick question for those who have seen the film though, mine's a dodgy copy and the endings a little prompt. It makes sense and all and it probably is the ending just I want to make sure because there's no credits etc...

Without ruining the ending for people who haven't watched it, is the final scene the Zebedee toilet scene?

Why wouldn't it be? That was the ending on mine too - I know there are some missing scenes but I'm pretty sure that is it

It makes sense and all that, just without the end credits and with such a quick jump to the DVD menu I wasn't sure whether it was the ending or a disk error.

ChelseaDave

i think that it is definately the ending as the ones we bought were all un-edited versions of it. The edited version is out in the cinemas at the moment.

That film is quality. Billy is clearly the best bloke on there and the junior scene is so fucking funny but the funniest has to be with the cab driver he is well funny!!!

LiamK
31-05-2004, 00:19
The taxi driver's quality - "What a wanker!" :)

Rod's outburst when he's having lunch with his girlfriend's parents is hilarious!

Danny Dyer is wicked in that film. I think he is good in Human Traffic but the film is crap!!!

its annoying me now as everyone in my school keeps saying 'si' and 'jog on' and stuff. AH! Film is quality mind. The old man sitting at the window smoking a giant spliff made me laugh. ;)

I know this is dragging up an old topic but i finally saw this last night and hasn't anyone noticed how much of a complete rip-off the ending is of american history x? i can't believe it. pretty good film though, a little bit thin.
