does anyone know which licenses PES 2012 are targetting or have?

I hear Man Utd and Spurs

Nemisiskidd

bayern munich have 90% chance becoz the champions league final will be in munich for 2012 so that also means allianz arena, if konami put the allianz arena in without bayern then that would be stupid

surely with the Champions League License you would think they would get the licenses for all the teams in the CL.

Hi, I'm new here...
I would love to see Partizan Belgrade in Pes 2012...
In Serbia much people play this game, and I'm sure, that they want Partizan to...
Also, we will play in CL again, i think, and we played last year... :P
Thanks...

In typical fashion Bayen will be kept Werder dropped. Fingers crossed that Dortmund are in game and with the stats they deserve!

I've always found it odd, that for a company forced to eat scraps from the table of EA to not include the licensed J-League. It may be marginal to European audiences, but if that along with the Libertadores teams were added to BAL and ML it would open a great new experience with teams you're largely unfamiliar with.

I'm hoping more South American teams will be licensed and fully integrated into the Master League.

Don't listen to Wiki - before 18th july, they got the italian commentators wrong because when it was confirmed on 18th july that someone else was gonna commentate - Luca Marchegiani - they changed it the next day so the licenses on wikipedia are not all, when more licences some out, they will change it off course so they are less than half the licences that are actually gonna feature in the game

I wish Konami would add Italian announcers to the U.S. version. Why not simply offer all - wouldn't mind german either.

You'd think for an Asian company they'd have a keen interest in including some more teams from their region, and the idea of playing through a licensed J-League is amazing.

I actually popped PES6 into my 360 yesterday to play and it included the licensed leagues of Eredivisie, La Liga, Ligue 1, and Serie A. We don't even receive all of these licensed fully now unfortunately.

I agree with the J-League, as for English prem teams they can only have 2 licensed can't they because of the EA FIFA licence?

If they could get any two I suppose it would have to be Man Utd and a London based team as it covers a lot more sales.

Do you know the full legal details on why it's only 2? I'd personally go Chelsea and Man Utd in order to get sales up if I was Konami and then focus on getting across the depth in the gameplay.

I think one thing that will draw gamers of all ages in would be an improved collision engine like FIFA seem to have implemented. I know EA do blow a lot of smoke so it could turn out to be awful but one tackle in their video looked stunning and to have something like that in PES would really give it the wow factor with the depth in game play.

wikipedia are listing all europena competition teams from England, Germany, Spain and France as licensed teams, is this correct or just rumour?

StringerBell
08-07-2011, 06:45
As its been said only trsut from the source itself ie Konami. For this past game some moron went on to say how they played as Schalke blah blah and guess what they werent in the game. Another Italian website said they loved how Konami added player tattoos. What a bunch of idiots just propagating rumors to get hits on their websites. Have a look at the wiki page now it even says they got rid of Jon Champion for Dillon Loughnane? Who the hell is that. Obviously someone is having a bit of fun on editing the page.

yes its to do with monopolies and mergers act suppose. bit like why sky had to hand over 23 games to espn each season because it was a monopoly. think fa are governed by this law so cant fully give EA prem licence without offering some more crumbs to konami

It's a shame konami can't afford the licenses. It would have made master league much better and less of those 'fake reborn players'. For example i had an 87 rated player at the age of 18. As if that would ever happen!

Fill the game up with Asian leagues, or even fantasy leagues with funny names and obvious real life counterparts. and a good editor. It will be easy to fix the rest for our selves.

I don`t think that KONAMI will have more licenses for this year , it`s always an issue to be solved , Also I don`t expect KONAMI to get us team licenses for english league , forget about it , whatever we say or wish , it dosen`t happen , Anyway a good patch can fix that , the same as every year , let`s hope that the gameplay is fixed and worth , that is what we can focus about more .

Yeah , i wish they put full BUNDESLEAGUE license instead of HOLLANDLEAGUE

I'd rather they have both. The Dutch league is great because there's a lot of good young, cheap players. Ideal for ML.

I certainly wouldn't mind the Portuguese league either, perhaps more Russian teams too. Would be nice if they could throw in some of the more major Asian teams, like FC Seoul for example.

i'm kinda surprised they didn't add any japanese teams in the past - after all they are konami, a japanese company as well as having some rising stars.
I'm also surprised they added the copa libertados and not the afc champions league is that is kinda japanese

Hunter
22-07-2011, 18:49
Am I the only one who'd love to see different leagues licensed? I'd really like to see the likes of the J-League, MLS, etc. Of course we'd all of course like to see the major leagues licensed, that's a given, but it's obviously not possible, however the less watched league's worldwide 'may' be easier to secure - and not just that, it'd keep things refreshing I think as far as random matches, and the Master League roster would be etc.

I think most important though, would be to give us many extra 'spare' leagues, along with hundreds of emblem slots, thousands of sponsor and logo slots etc. We'd be able to create an immense number of leagues, all of which would then give off the illusion of being licensed. It would be brilliant.

S-D-P
22-07-2011, 19:18
Would love the J-league Hunter, if it featured you can guarantee it would be perfectly replicated and its a realistic option. Imagine the extra players you could buy in Master league a lot of talented Japanese players coming through at the moment.

Can't wait for the bundesliga to return, although it won't be this year.

Michu

What konami needs to do is the following ::

Give us a fake German league just like the do with the premiere .. You know fake logos fake teams for the realactual players, we all can fix the uniforms and logos ..also try to get more teams from around the world

For ex: get the lincese for the top5 teams of Africa like Orlando pirates and al-ahly
Get the licenses for the other big clubs in Europe Like partisan
Get the license for the argentine league and the rest of the big teams from south America that didn't make the copa libertadores
Add the copa sudamericana
Maybe license for the club world cup ?
And how bout more national teams ?
Like Jamaica, malasya
And I'm not sure bout the licenses but gives the option to change the kind of trophy you are playing for on each unlicensed competition
How bout we get to customize and create cleats ?

Dean Richmond
02-08-2011, 13:26
if konami gave us the opyion to customise as many leagues and teams in them leagues as we wanted, then option file makers would include every league in the world, and thus have more licenses than fifa.

hope they allow this and not have a limit as to how many teams you can create

jay_jay89
02-08-2011, 15:01
what i want is a second division for every single league in master league, so that i don't have Burnley(GTM and MM option file) getting promoted to la liga at the end of the season lol. Also give us unlimited slots for club badges so that it atleast looks like there licensed, i'll never understand why they give us limited space for this.

muscularmatt
02-08-2011, 15:03

Yup, CSKA will be coming in replacing them.

Konami have made the choice, and have decided to implement the following eight teams into PES 2012:

Genk (Belgium)
Standard Liège (Belgium)
Bayer Leverkusen (Germany)
Wisła Kraków (Poland)
Oţelul Galaţi (Romania)
CSKA Moscow (Russia)
FC Zürich (Switzerland)
Trabzonspor (Turkey)

But with new licensed teams coming in, we will also see teams leaving the PES series.

Here are the eight teams that will not be in PES 2012.

Club Brugge (Belgium)
Werder Bremen (Germany)
Dinamo Bucureşti (Romania)
CFR Cluj (Romania)
Unirea Urziceni (Romania)
Spartak Moscow (Russia)
FK Crvena Zvezda (Serbia)
SK Slavia Praha (Czech Republic)

You would think that every team that is in the group stages of both the Champions and Europa leagues that are not included in the 5 main leagues would be included in the Europe group, licensed or fake.

It seems to me like there is some kind of limit in the amount of teams you have in one group of teams. Hence you lose some teams which are replaced instead of being just added too.

floriank90
03-08-2011, 17:53
i think the new 8 teams are very much compensating the removed 8. especially when you think about the team strengths. CSKA and Leverkusen are playing at a far higher level than their national "predecessors" Spartak and Bremen. I also prefer the other 6 new ones to the old ones as I simply know too little about those team from the east...
however, dortmund would be awesome :D

Werder I knew would be left out. But I'm glad to see Wisla and CSKA make a return But PES without Club Brugge!?!? Thats like when they took Angola out. Not to worry though all we have to do is base copy the players and transfer the data over to 2012. Thats what I'm most curious about, how the transfer data function will work for 2012.

About the Bundesliga clubs, having Leverkusen in but not Dortmund will be a low down dirty shame. If anyone has seen the gameplay video with the German sqaud, at least 4 players from BVB are on it. So I'm hope we will see the team in 2012.

I'm gonna say that PES and WE are both "the same" game now these days?

I was at boarding school when PES 2,3,4,5 came out and we would get to play the WE edition too before each release as one of my mates there was from Hong Kong and would bring it over to the UK.

WE was always the better game, there was something watered-down about PES and it makes me miss WE.
