There will be two PES 2012 demos.
The demo will be available to download on both PS3 and Xbox 360. A PC demo has yet to be confirmed.
An official demo release date will be confirmed soon.

I thinks it's odd that there's two demos. The first one will obviously an early build. I hope it isn't shit, will put a lot of people off.... especially those who don't know there will be 2 demos.
But anyway, demo next week... woooooooo! Wasn't expecting that news :)

Nice. This might be a good sign because they seem confident. Might be good things but I'll wait to pass my judgement until both demos are released.

A demo being released next week seems awufuly premature, to me. Don't they usually make it available about a couple of weeks before release day. Maybe that's when the second demo will be out. An early build demo could be a huge mistake or a stroke of marketing genius.
First demo comes out. It's shit. Fans protest.
Second demo comes out. "Wow! What an improvement. A definite day one purchase!"
As long as the final game is good, I'm happy.

I prefered it to any other, mostly because Newcastle online in PES6, is the greatest team ever.

That's really great news! Since the PS3 shop usually get's updated on Wednesdays the demo should be out on the 24th of August...meaning 3 weeks before the FIFA 12 demo!! That is a very good move from Konami!! Let's hope the demo lives up to it's expectations!!

To be fair to Charlie, I think PES 2008 was actually more fun than PES 2011 but there were so many faults in PES 2008 and it was just far, far too easy!!
PES 2011 is def the better game but it's just so slow and frustrating at times! :realmad:

Early demos scare the bejeezus out of me!! Really hoping it has something to show off though, especially since these FIFA fan boys are getting louder.
P.S in terms of enjoy-ability....I'd have to give it to PES 08, it was crap in today's terms but this is when we were still wide eyed PES lovers totally committed to our eternal waltz with footy gaming, so in its time it was pure gold. Nowadays we more closely resemble bitter old men who want divorces and shiny new cars, having the occasional rendezvous with FIFA 11 in a seedy hotel room overlooking a vacant parking lot full of orange peels and needles. How the times they have changed.

I prefer '08 to '10 and '11 simply because I found it more enjoyable... If Im being honest, PES11 is like how a hangover feels.
Saying PES 2011 is the best Next Gen game is like saying piles is the best anus based disease. They've all been crap so far. I myself am playing PES6 (mostly International Challenges) until 2012 comes out.
I think the demo is early because they think the game is good, and they want to make people think twice about getting FIFA, PES fans included , maybe make a few people wait until the full game is out.

PES 2009 worst one, PES 2011 a great game but too many faults such as shooting (terrible), referees (appauling) and penalties (the worst in any football game FACT).
PES 2012 is looking like being the best football game ever made (big call)

Personally, the lack of ability to do REAL plays without interference by the computer wanting you to do it a certain way, killed it for me. FIFA has had this ability that the old PES 6 had.... but PES has yet to get their hands on again like back in the day.
I know Wikipedia isn't very reliable but it seems to be saying "The first of two demos for PES 2012 is to be released on August 23rd on Xbox Live and August 24th on the Playstation Network."

Can't find a confirmed demo, but seeing as their are no weekly specific update days, I would imagine it will be released on Tuesday,23rd.

I really hope Konami never listens to fans about the faults in their games, as every opinion seems to differ in every PES by every person.
Personally I've always hated the new PES annually for a few months after release until I've grown into it. So looking forward to similar feelings this year as well :)

Perhaps you got it a bit wrong, my point was that I've always loved the new pes... After a few months playing it that is! First I've always thought "man they screwed it, last year was better", but in the end I think Pes has improved every year. Or if not straight improved, at least changed a lot.

it's in German. So basically the important informations:
- the demo will be based on an early version of the game.
- the demo will be released on the 24th of August (on PS3, X-Box, PC)
- it will contain the teams: Manchester United, AC Milan, FC Porto, S.S.C. Napoli, Santos FC und C.A. Panarol
- the match length will be 10 minutes
- we get information about the "challenge mode".

I like what they're doing. Honestly. They have new features that will define something and they want use, the fans to test it early and gove out impressions. I think it's a nice move from Konami.
So will the wednesday demo have some challenges in challenge training too?
I mean from what they said, it's is possible that this demo will have some challenges in training to practice the new features. I hope so.
So, I'll be happy to wait till next wedensday for an early preview. I wish they'd do this every year, just for us to see a more refined version of the game at a later stage. :)
