this post is spcelly reserved for the stats, don't hesitate to post them
the stats of victor valdes c.ronaldo messi d.villa robben xavi neuer m.ozil http://www.pes-soccer.fr/index.php/PES-2012/pes-2012-stats-de-certains-joueurs.html
giving valdes and neuer the same overall rating is a bit off i think. IMO Neuer should be ahead of valdes based on last year's performances.
i saw the ratings of the following players in a gamescom video on youtube:
Klose 80 (2011: 87?)
Gomez 77 (77)
Ribéry 93 (89)
i think it would be an absolute joke to put Klose ahead of Gomez. While Klose still outplayed him for the most part in the german natonal team last year, gomez was the topscorer of the bundesliga and has shown great improvement in technique, with klose only being his backupfor most of the season. i sincerely hope gomez' stats just haven't been updatet yet.

u got to base on the form stat aswell, e.g. klose overall you would say hes got better technique than Mario Gomez but maybe not on form as often so there for Gomez will play better for a longer period of time, and also watch ronaldo when he is clear in space and has a shot, i think 94 would be appropriate.

+1 a lot of people forget this. For instance Ronaldo (Brazil) in this game is like an 85 or something. Yet his form is horrible so you usually get him at a down blue or worse. Form is everything also player cards too.

spot on i do actually think they should make a player card for sheer speed, e.g. have you noticed in pes speed is only noticable on the ball and not off, and this is really frustrating if you are playing as Lennon and you kno you can get to that ball first but some how phil neville gets their before you!

I predict that no matter what the stats of Ganso and in particular Neymar will be people will say they are either overrated and underrated. Despite the fact that the majority of their fans only know them through what they've seen on youtube clips

Form is very important if it's online with random arrows or master league/BaL and such. But in friendlies where you adjust the arrows(Normally to regular or excellent) then the importance of the stat is lost.

Benzema 82 as same as Pipita?? Benzema is better so far that Pipita.
Kaka 89? I Think is correct, he is still a start but he is not better than others years. In pes2011 he was 92 rating.
floriank90

we really shouldn't rely on these overall stats - for example: villa has lost 2 overall points although his however are slightly better than in 2011 just because he's a registered as a 2nd striker now. xavi's stats are very much the same, but now he has got 97 instead of 95...
however - KONAMI's overall ratings are usually too high in early version; i remember last year xabi alonso 99, dani alves 97 etc...

yes benzema must be more strong than higuain
benzema has made a good season and higuain was injured and haven't played a lotof games.in more benzema deserves better.he has the same notes on pes 2011

Well, I can watch Neymar and Ganso in matches here in Brazil. But its not difficult to watch Santos FC (or any other Brazilian team) matches on Internet, there are a lot of channels to do it for free. Specially the europeans will be really surprise with these 'kids'. Real Madrid (or the Madrid's tabloids) are not crazy about Neymar for nothing.
But, as usually, Konami (and the whole Asia, in general) has only eyes for Europe football.

i've now seen all the players' stats through the PES 2012 Ultimate Editor.
What i can say by now:
o there is still a lot of work to do for KONAMI as players who have had a great season such as suarez, agüero, silva and di maria haven't been edited yet (agüero and silva have even become worse!!!)
o in my opinion there are a far too many players having the speed merchant card, curiously palyers like agüero, di maria not being among them
o KONAMI is very generous with dribbling cards such as 'incisive run' or 'mazing run' etc.
o the problem of some overrated players (arshavin) have been solved
o in the past years young, talented players have been generally underrated which has changed completely - sanchez, bale, hazard, shaqiri, neymar, thiago, james rodriguez, pastore, wilshere etc. both have great stats and player cards!

I saw that RonaldoR9, Jucilei and Roberto Carlos will be in Corinthians, maybe they will disappear when konami update tranfer with his first patch. We have to copy base and created this player's before koname erase theme with his patch

Also I find it funny, after konami added Overall stat value, ppl stare that like slaves.
More important would be to check if some particular values in particular players are completely off..

In this database, Mario Gomez has better attack and shooting than Klose. Although obviously Klose's heading stat helps him a lot which may be why his overall rating is better than Mario Gomez.
(this is a reply to the guy on the first page complaining about Gomez and Klose)

i wonder if they'll finally sort out Luka Modric's stats this year?!?
di maria is 83 on left mid, van persie is 87 on left mid, nasri is 84 on left mid, rosicky is 96, krasic is 89. You CAN find any pes players stats here from 2012 - http://www.pesdb.net/pes2012/index.php?sort=Overall_rating&order=d
It also enables you to see the best players ranked in the game and see different ratings in different positions as well as searching for players with different card- speed merchant like eto'o, pepe, miccoli.
A lot of players are higher in different positions
where did the agility stat go?

Thanks for that. Nice to see that some of Bolton's stats have improved, particularly our midfield. Also nice to see a few more of our youngsters in there. What is amusing is how out of date some of the transfers are. Why is Holden LMF, that can't be right. He never plays there!
Now all I need is for the game to not be shit like the first demo!

Alot of those overall stats seem soot on atm but as a spurs fan looking through our players, not surprised to see modric hugely underrated. Several players like huddlestone, sandro and most of all defoe have shockingly awful overall stats though. Whats defoe done wrong to go from 83 to 70! Yikes
defoe is 76 at ss though and it's because he has not been scoring ebough goals and missing too much chances. Agility is explosive power

:unsure:isn't that (explosive power )accelaration?
judging from pes 2011 stats it canot be unless it is both as i remember xavi having 83 agility and 77 acceleration, but now he has 83 explosive power and it's the same for other people
Leandro Damião only 73 overall...THIS IS A JOKE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! He already scored 40 goals in the season (in Brazil the season ends in December!!!) and the overal is 69...this is unbelievable Konami...

I found the stats abit strange in 11.
Maybe they already do this but they should have pretty close stats but the ability cards should be what boosts them up abit,to add to the overall ability, and to sort the average from the good and the good from worldclass.
I do understand the form stats though.

Spurs underated? WTF
Modric is 86OVR, Huddlestone is in the 80s, Lennon is 90 ffs and Bale is 89...
Defence is strong too, Gallas is in the 80s, Friedel is 86.
If anything its overated.. Lennon is 90 and yet Nani who was the best winger in the league last season is only 85/86
Bale 89 when he hasnt performed well since before the injury at the start of the year... Since then he has looked the shadow of the player he was and yet 89?
But Friedel 86, that is just insane for a keeper.. Specially if you compare those stats to United's who won the PL last season.
What i dont get is Modric 86 and yet Anderson is only 78... Modric got 4 goals and 3 assists last season in 35 odd games, Ando got 4 goals and 2 assists in 24... Surely by looking at that they should be similar ovr?
Edit: But Defoe. It seems right for a player who is now poor.
Defoe failed to score on a lot of chances last season so his stats are good... But Hernandez is still only in the 70s after he scored 20 goals in his debut season (First time since RVN that has happend) and yet still stays in the 70s.

they tend to lean towards a few people who think they know it all, but still it is a nice start.
defoe is 74 at ss but defoe didn't grab much goals at missed some real sitters and its the same for internationals. crouch is underrated as he is lethal in the air and i would say he should be around 77. Sagna is underrated as he clearly shone out last season and he is lower than an overrated bosingwa and same as hutton?

That's because stats count for barely anything when players are as technically gifted as Modric.

One of the biggest improvements and anyone will know how happy I am if they've read my posts on this forum is Borja Valero. He is one of the best midfielders in tSpain and if it weren't for Xavi and Iniesta he'd be starting for Spain. He went from a measly 71 in 2011 to an 85! I cannot wait to kick some ass with Villarreal online.
Why in the name of the lord PES remove the stars instead of the ability cards? I remember in the old days some players having nothing on yellow but if they had a star on sliding ability or something like that they would be useful.

This is a bit odd I think. Bale is by far more gifted than Lennon. Take the speed away and I think Lennon would be at best Championship standard. I think I'll be altering it manually when I get the game.

You have my comments out of context, i was referring to the list provided via a link earlier in the thread. The stats have since been updated on the demo/retail copy and are much more realistic and certainly to my liking.
Modrics stats seem spot on, as do Huddlestones now. Are you a man utd fan by any chance? Nani best winger in the league last season...yea alright then!
Also, you seem to only judge players by goals and assists...rubbish. Modric has better stats than Anderson because he is a much better player, arguably one of the leagues best deep-lying playmakers.
Half a bad season/unfortunate injuries do not make either Bale or Defoe bad players. Defoe certainly isnt poor, given a run of games and he will show his 69 overall score is thoroughly absurd.
However, i do agree that Lennon is hugely overrated. Last year was silly at 88 and he hasnt improved to justify a 90 this year.

You have to also consider player cards. Two players in the same position rated similarly but the player with more cards will always be better. Even if its a difference of 3-4 points on the overall average the cards can influence so much...
