Sup guys,

Just uploaded a vid of a keeper glitch I just found, don't know if it'll be of any help to the games programmers etc?!

Either way, new version at only 70% is much better than lasts :)

Still a lot of question marks over some of the keepers actions bar the above but nothing that can't be fixed (hopefully!).

It's been like that last year too. It's not nice but it's the best compromise, in some versions the goalie then dropped the ball and when that happened, people were complaining too. In binary computers you can only have black or white....

Yeh I see what you mean. Like I said only 70% build so I'm not worrying too much, plenty of time to iron out some AI problems in the month + before release.

It's long been a bug bear on PES2011 ... keepers ought to be heading those but the code can't recognize it because essentially when he goes to catch it he is still in the penalty area and becomes locked in that process.

hopefully keepers become better in the final version. Anyone notice then when they dive instead of diving sideways they dive slightly upwards and then sidewards? this makes it much easier to score as they're too slow to dive to the ball!

I've seen keepers handle the ball into the goal...

without a goal being scored...

It's long been a bug bear on PES2011 ... keepers ought to be heading those but the code can't recognize it because essentially when he goes to catch it he is still in the penalty area and becomes locked in that process.


The solution for this is to have a slightly smaller box which would be the limit for normal catching. Anything between that inner box and the normal box would either be punched or headed out.

That was my thought as well, an 'interim box' within the code that recognises that the keeper is going to handle the ball outside the area with certain animations.

Also, why don't we have keepers sent off for handling outside the area? The code ought to exist.

It'll take years before thats in. We don't even have hand balls in the game. I swear I remember there being handballs in PES many years ago though, but seems like they've removed it.
