US Base Option File Version 1

****This option file is compatible with Version 1.01 YOU MUST UPDATE PES before you can use this Option file!!!!!*****

How to transfer the option file:

1. Download the Option File
2. Unzip it (I unzip it onto my desktop using WinRAR)
3. Insert USB stick into PC
4. Make a new folder on your USB called PS3, then inside that create another folder called SAVEDATA
5. Put the OF into the SAVEDATA folder, so on your USB you will have PS3>SAVEDATA>all the folders from the OF
6. Plug USB stick into PS3
7. Go to Game-Saved Data Utility
8. Find your USB stick
9. All the kits etc should show as single files, along with an Edit Data file, and a System Data file
10. Start at the first kit, press Triangle while you are on it, a Copy option will appear
11. Copy onto your PS3
12. Repeat for all kits (this may take about 10 minutes but it is worth it)
13. Also copy the Edit Data from the OF, but NOT the System Data
14. Unplug your USB stick
15. Load up PES2010
16. Voila!

The option file is finally finished here is what is in it:

Includes
Corrected names for all Leagues and Cups
Players have correct names as well
All Emblems and kits corrected for the nonlicensed EPL
Leagues Cups and Teams have correct emblems
Portugese League has correct names and Emblems and Kits
Major Transfers done for the EPL
Bundesliga created with emblems and kits
Base copied players from the missing players thread that everyone wanted me to base copy lol

Additions/Updates
Duplicate players removed from their national team spots**Actually right this time**
**Corrected the Italian League and Cup Logos**
Reset the National Team stats to default so players have 2012 stats and not 2011
Bundesliga has complete squads with names, squad numbers and stats to the best of my ability
Fixed some of the EPL squad numbers

INCLUDING Eldinter's changes4Changes made:

-Nationalities of Bundesliga players (and ages for a few players)
-Transfers in other leagues and squad numbers for major clubs
-Changed nationalities of fake players to Andorra so that they do not appear in national team selection lists
-Reset D2 to default
-Small details here and there

NOT included
As always it is not my preference to make teams. That takes entirely way too long and since this is a base option file to go on there will be no Championship teams or Extra teams
NO National Team kits will be done
Will not be adding stadiums in the first release.
Appearances for the Bundesliga WERE NOT DONE!!!

yea i have a bunch of chants and a few stadiums linked in 2011. when i import data in 2012 i wonder how that will come over. i know some chants from 2010 came over or were still around in 2011 when i imported the data. hopefully it doesnt come thru the option file but it might.

Well im glad i convinced you but remember mine is a BASE option file. Other people take it further and do some really good work with the files.

On a side note my ps3 is on its last leg i have tried to back it up 3 times today and each time i get the beeping blinking red lights. i am hoping it can last the night so i can back it up and trade it in to gamestop lol. yes i am going to try and put one over on gamestop it only needs to work for a few minutes for them to try it out lol so we shall see. i may not be able to afford a brand new ps3 without the buyback money so i am hoping this plan works

ok as an update i already have the game!!!! but i need help! My bundesliga that i half heartedly created DID transfer over i think i even updated names stats and all that but it is WAY out of date. I am NOT TOUCHING IT. what i do need though is a list of the teams in the bundesliga right now. i will create the bundesliga and have the clubs in there so all someone will have to do is spruce it up get the right players on the teams change stats or whatever blah blah blah. the emblems are in there already.
I also need the emblem for the fifa club world cup 2011.

I am fixing the league and cup logos and names now and then im on to the names which i should have done by midnight then tomorrow i do kits. Please if anyone can help throw links in this thread or pm them to me...i always appreciate the help and ill give you a notice on the front page as well. thanks everyone. there is no reason that i should not be able to get this done by release on tuesday with everyones help. thanks

i have hit an annoying snag today. i am attempting to do the kits and the ones that i have gotten the white kit pngs by alot of makers are off colored and dont match up to a true white base in this years game for whatever reason. so there is a noticeable line between the kit and png and that bothers me. hopefully i can find time to sort that out

oh i transfered mine and i fixed it. it was worth it. i am hoping to get EPL kits done today but the colors are off. they are definitely different from last year. the white is actually more white! so you may not get this til either late tonite or tomorrow morning. tomorrow i golf so i wont be home til like 2pm so i figure i can get it to you and you can have a go at the portugese league.

not many colors from pngs match with the equivalent of last year so for instance a blue for chelsea like 0-9-15 is actually more like 0-3-15 so the colors are WAY off so thats going to take awhile matching color for color and finding a way to redo the white kits cuz im awful with kits

Are you sure? Check your squads carefully, none of the unlocked Bundesliga players from PES2011 copied to PES 2012. All my lineups were messed up, for example, Nuri Sahin is at Real Madrid in the default PES 2012, after the PES 2011 transfer, him and ALL of Madrid's new signings vanished from the game.
Also base copying preset faces in PES 2011 to transfer to 2012 is pointless, none of those transferred either.
And what Jon Murphy said about OF's being composed of 1 folder is pure bullshit, you have to transfer 400+ files again in PES 2012.

i am going to try that now with the transfers thing i never looked at that i was busy putting in real names and kits

*** the transfer default thing worked! my Bundesliga was a shell of one anyways im just putting in the kits and emblems and some of the names/players may be right but i never cared for appearances or anything cosmetic. So i dont really plan on touching much in the bundesliga besides kits. ill leave it for someone else***

I did figure out a work around the color issue. i just took every png for the kits and took them in photoshop and set the brighten option from 0 to between 20-25. 23 is probably ideal but the colors were way off they definitely brightened them up this year. color schemes from last year were way off... for example chelsea's blue was 0-9-25 i think before i made the switch it was 0-3-15... thats a big jump! so by brightening them the colors are brighter again and the white matches which is all i cared about. it may distort the emblem a TAD but you cant really tell at least i cant

Also thank you for putting the work into this. I envy you getting early access to the game (as I'd do the same, build an OF) as this way I can't do my OF as I did in 2010 (though never released) with half the Brazilian league and half the German league, all alphabetically classified (though divided by leagues).

Your Bundesliga base will be nice though, I'd likely edit it but I have a friend who may get PES and having the Germans to play with will definitely help sway him to purchase the game. Also I am extremely very recently unemployed, being able to release something and have a paypal donation link in my signature would be sooooooo helpful :(.

I am done with my portion of editing for now I got all names corrected and duplicate players out of the national teams, the EPL is done full kits and all and the Bundesliga is done with kits and emblems. only thing that needs to be sorted with the bundesliga is the rosters. I did not do any transfers yet. I have to find a guide to what they were outside of the obvious ones...for instance the game still has Fabregas at arsenal. If someone can link me to a thread with transfers thatd be great! all in all my work is done now its off to Pategato for the Liga Von Sagres. Hopeful release is Monday at midnight

ESPN has good rosters and Goal.com transfer table is nice because you can select for a league so would show you only Bundesliga.

Other than Bundesliga - is it worth waiting for the DLC roster update first and then rearranging rosters? I don't know.

Long as you created players from scratch they came over. i created two teams over pes united and we united and both teams transfered over, players, stats, and even appearance. my bundesliga did the same thing. now if i would have still had my kits on my ps3 from 2011 i am sure they would have transfered over as well.

I was wondering, is it possible to transfer players from PES2011 over to PES2012 without sticking with the PES2011 player stats as probably every player got better (or worse depending on age). I guess what I'm trying to say is that has Konami made it possible this year for us to decide what we want to transfer over (i.e. only players' faces, only players' stats, only player' names, only players' faces and stats but not their name, etc)?

Also, if somebody do manual transfer in his OF of PES 2011 (including updating of national teams rosters) and you load this file to PES 2012, this transfer will appear, but in many case duplicating player's, or with wrong player's...

All the players names have been fixed that is the first thing i did. I made the bundesliga meaning i made kits, emblems, but no i dont set up formations and the rosters are way off. i normally let other option file makers take over from where i had it.

when i say i dont make teams, generally i do so much in a day or twos time that creating entire teams like say the two missing champions league teams is something im not interested in. its time consuming and while i do like some of the editing aspect of the game i like to play it even more. Like in years past i am sure someone will take this file on and do great things with it. there were a lot of great files last year im sure everything will be fine.

I usually dont post here a lot since i mostly just play the game lol but I gotta say thanks a lot you do something that a lot of people probably just take for granted but it really does make the game a lot better. I just wanted to say thanks bc I know ill be using this OF once i get the game.

as an update all the kits are now done i did the epl and bundesliga and pategato did the portugese league and they all look amazing if i must say so myself. I just did all the major transfers for the EPL. I wont have time to do the other leagues im sorry not before midnight. i will however try to get the rosters right for the bundesliga. there will be no formation changes right now or stats for some players i have to create but the rosters will be set then maybe by the end of the week i will finish off the bundesliga with stats and formations (not really big on appearances so i prolly wont do that) once that is done my editing will be finished for the year.

ok i lied to do all the names for the bundesliga tonite before midnight will be impossible. i may try and get it done by the weekend. Dortmund is essentially finished i just have to do some stats and make the youth players but i am tired so i will be uploading this file shortly

amazed, dissapointed, but probably should not be surprised that Konami's first DLC has nothting to do with rosters. What a joke.

I am always confused on what the best option is among the three below. I know Peligrini used to redo things after a DLC then re-release an option file. So, when Konami releases the roster DLC should we
1) apply it to the mrgametight option file
2) apply the Konami DLC first then add in mrgametight's option file
3) add in mrgametight's option file, then when downloading DLC do not allow Konami's roster settings to be included.

As an update i have only 8 teams remaining in the bundesliga to get the squad players right. just to be clear this is in NAME only. i have not touched stats at all, but between registering players and making sure the rosters are right it really is time consuming. i hope to finish the rosters in name only tomorrow and then from there i will do player stats and the team formations and what not...the only appearance thing i am fixing is the physique. oh and i havent switched their home nation i got tired of doing it it was slowing me up lol

Many people is reporting the same issue.
This option file was created with the language options set to english.
If you play the game in any other languages, you might experience this problem.

Yesterday i talk with Robbyearon, he told me that there is a form to copy the 3 kits of a team with only 1 file. I didnt understand how, but if this its possible we can reduce 1/3 of the file kits. Now he is investigating if it's possible to copy only one file...

The fake Dempsey and Howard are on the national team. The real ones are on their respective club teams. Everything looks great :) I did notice though that some there are a couple fake players on national teams such as "Javuherano" who should be J. Hernandez of man u and dempsey on US.
As for club transfers M.Douf on Blackburn and Cleverley of Wigan to man united.

It's more accurate now but I'm still having some problems.

Mainly, the duplicate players have not been removed from their national teams and certain players new to PES are still fake on some teams such as Bosnia.

I was kinda afraid that i wont find a proper OF for my PES this year, because i usually get the EU/UK version and there was always many good OF's to choose from, but this time i got the US version since it came first and usually there weren't many good OF's before ( i guess ^^) , but i have to be honest im really impressed by your OF it's really good and i like it, many thanks for you Sir for your hardwork on making this OF :)

I remember Pelegrini letting the last Konami update of the year smack his file and then he went in and reset where he had to. But I forget what his suggestion was for users of his file - I need to look back at his 2011 thread. I think it was for users to download the DLC first then throw in his option file second.

Thats what this option file is for. for people to take it as a base and improve it from there. so by all means have at it.

You can import stuff from a PES2011 option file only via the "use prequel data" option.

only way that happens is if you try to rename one of the folders or if you have the wrong region code i believe. maybe someone else can help im not to sure why you would get that

Most likely there will be changes to the OF due to the DLC rearranging players to there correct clubs...

that all sounds like a lot of work especially for all i have already done for the bundesliga. i wont have appearances but i made all the players already so all the rosters are set now. to do all that and to maybe have to go back and redo some things would be a pain. so i think i willjust go this route for now. then if someone releases an option file with different teams like the MLS or Npower championship I can just download that file to a different user account and export the teams individually to add to my file for myself. thanks!

it may work but it all depends on WHERE the kit save is i believe. you may want to even mess with the import export feature but i suggest doing it under a different username

First of all, pointing out some missing players in the game specially famous and skilled players would benefit the OF at the end, and so i guess it's more of an assistance to the creator rather than being WACKY/ LAZY , That's ofcourse if the creator himself is looking forward to imbrove his OF regularly !

I used to download Muffman's OF all the time , and he always appreciated everyone's assistance to make his OF simply Perfect, and that is My friend by pointing out mistakes, missing player, ...etc

Anyway, I know how hard it is to be a creator and the huge amount of do this do that can frustrate you , but hey at least you could POLITELY guide the asker on how to do it, like the guy above me who simply showed me a link with the stats to create the player i wanted and i thanked him for that !

yea i dont mind the requests i can always so no so its no big deal to me. I do try and get my file to as perfect as possible, but as i said before this is just a BASE option file for others to BUILD off of. My editing like in all years past ends usually after two weeks. Hell i dont even visit the forums that often after my file is done normally, which is why my post count is so low for the past three years of being on this site lol. i like doing the editing but i love playing the game more. So I am striving my best to make sure what i do is perfect then after that I just hope someone will do more with my file as always and keep the masses happy.

As an update I have 5 or 6 teams done for the bundesliga. As a reminder these are stats, formations, and squad numbers only! I am not doing appearances and with having to overwrite some players it will not be odd to see a guy who is should be white is actually black in the game lol i just dont have time to do appearances sorry. But they are doing good things in the bundesliga thread and have loads of appearances over there so im sure someone can implement those.

US Base Option File Version 1

****This option file is compatible with Version 1.01 YOU MUST UPDATE PES before you can use this Option file!!!!!*****

How to transfer the option file:

1. Download the Option File
2. Unzip it (I unzip it onto my desktop using WinRAR)
3. Insert USB stick into PC
4. Make a new folder on your USB called PS3, then inside that create another folder called SAVEDATA
5. Put the OF into the SAVEDATA folder, so on your USB you will have PS3>SAVEDATA>all the folders from the OF
6. Plug USB stick into PS3
7. Go to Game-Saved Data Utility
8. Find your USB stick
9. All the kits etc should show as single files, along with an Edit Data file, and a System Data file
10. Start at the first kit, press Triangle while you are on it, a Copy option will appear
11. Copy onto your PS3
12. Repeat for all kits (this may take about 10 minutes but it is worth it)
13. Also copy the Edit Data from the OF, but NOT the System Data
14. Unplug your USB stick
15. Load up PES2010
16. Voila!

The option file is finally finished here is what is in it:

Includes
Corrected names for all Leagues and Cups
Duplicate players removed from their national team spots
Players have correct names as well
All Emblems and kits corrected for the nonlicensed EPL
Leagues Cups and Teams have correct emblems
Portugese League has correct names and Emblems and Kits
Major Transfers done for the EPL
Bundesliga created with emblems and kits
Base copied players from the missing players thread that everyone wanted me to base copy lol


NOT included
As always it is not my preference to make teams. That takes entirely way too long and since this is a base option file to go on there will be no Championship teams or Extra teams
NO National Team kits will be done
Will not be adding stadiums in the first release.
Bundesliga rosters are NOT complete or ACCURATE...I hope to do this by the weekend(appearances will not be done at all)

Hi guys, I have always imported the UK version because of OFs and updates and patches being released faster for those versions in previous years.

Did patches and updates took longer to be released for last year's PES US version? I can see you make excellent OFs so I'm still doubting to buy the US version because of updates/patches not released for this version early enough.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can import just the kits yes. But they will overwrite whatever option file you had before.

Yea cuz i used prequel data. I defaulted all the EPL players and the Bundesliga should all have fresh stats, the other leagues will have to be defaulted and the classic players...yea sorry i know its annoying but it saved me time from editing some bundesliga players and names so im okay with it. i havent unlocked any classic players because i have been stuck doing all this editing bs which is also annoying.
at least you have gotten a chance to play the game. I'll default the classics when i unlock them, and will try and default the other leagues when i get a chance.

Are you saying all the stats for the players in Ligue1, Serie A etc are somehow messed up?

Also Mrgametight, in the PES Bundesliga index, not all of the teams have 2012 stats yet? How are you approaching those teams or are you just not going to bother with them?

that pes patch site I have listed above, kitandmedia, and a few other forum sites with the last being posters. They include your full documentation so that is good But the odd thing is I think they have different download - filesonic and wupload -so someone is downloading and then uploading. Probably no harm but strange that they down and upload

Just to be sure, If I import just the Mexico kit, I will only lose the current Mexico kit on the option file or do you mean it could mess up my the entire option file? I'm just looking for a cheap way to augment the mrgametight option file with national kits but perhaps this can't be done.

I think it's not possible to copy single teams from PES2011 to PES2012. All or nothing.
