The second PES 2012 demo will be released next Wednesday. This news was confirmed by we_konami earlier today on Twitter.

Next week's demo will be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, and will feature the following teams - Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Club America and Internacional.

Earlier today, Konami released details, outlining what fans should expect in next week's demo.

Improved Goal Keepers
According to your feedback on the first Demo, we improved the Goal Keepers

Improved Defensive AI
Defensive AI has been tweaked to work more efficiently on the field

Improved difficulty to score a goal
You definitely have to build up, plan and organize your attack well in order to score in this demo"

360 fans - myself included - will be delighted as for the first time, a PES 2012 demo will be available to download from the Xbox Live Marketplace.

They'll be seperate demos, so you'll have to delete the first demo - if you choose to do so. Feel free to keep both.

Yes, it will be free. But to access it, you'll have to have a valid Gold XBL membership.

I sure hope they reduce the obvious cheating and THE DEFENCE especially. It's great overall, but there's 1 thing that destroys this great defending system. It's the standing tackles that take too much time to work while the close control of the opposing strikers is too high, therefore it creates this illusion of bad defence.

Anyway, we'll see how they improve this defending. problem. Waiting for the next demo and yes if they fix this, it will be GREAT. :D

Also, this would be a first for US players.... like myself.

Personally, i think the "demo of the demo" was shite. Konami/Seabass obviously has a problem with game play, animations and more over online. Basically these three main areas has crippled PES over the years.

The problem is that they have not been able nail down not one of these issues in any of the previous releases. Online this year and maybe animations next year or vice versa. They just can't keep this up.

How has online crippled Pro? Last year Pro had the best feature any football game has produced for online, which was MLO. That feature alone is a country mile ahead of anything Fifa or any other football game has created online wise to date. And I expect that will be improved upon for this year.

I am not referring to the online modes JMTD, I am saying that their online service is crap.

Very True, the keepers "Couldn't catch a cold" on the 1st demo.

Hopefully they have improved the keepers, i've conceded many goals in the past from awful goalkeeping on PES.

Can't wait for the 2nd demo though!

My pes 11 used to lag so much, That i ended up getting rid of it (with regret). But i was on 5 meg dslr then with tiscali. Now i have a virgin 20meg connection, So im hoping for a drastic improvement!!

Weird really, at the time of the last Pro I had like a 2/3 meg connection at best and it still played very well online for the majority. I'd have some lag problems at times, some games that could be pretty bad, but overall it was mostly good and that's on one of the worst connections available in the country (crappy orange too and I live in a place where they haven't built a better connection and my area can only get 3 meg at most).

It's not download speed what is most important, it's upload speed.
You can have a slow internet but if the quality of your internet like high ping or packet loss etc. is bad is the real cause of lag. You could have super fast broadband but still it will be a laggy mess if you have poor response rate on your line.

Yup, I always experienced mad lag when playing PES online, and I always had a pretty decent connection (10:1). Playing CS online went fine. PES online though has never worked.

You really thought Golkeeper should have saved it, lol.:laugh:
I already thought goolkeepers where too good in PES 2011 and I don't want them to make superhuman saves in 12.

Its pretty understandble why everyone blames goalkeepers for being bad as all want to not get goals. Its really sad. I always though they where really well done in PES 2011.

^ Well, we have different experiences with the game. I've just seen to many keeper mistakes in pes 2011. And it goes both ways - cpu and my keepers are both poor i think. Bloopers are realistic, but not as often as i've seen them in my time playing pes 2011

There is a short vid of Barca v Milan ( Review Code ) and Barca win 1-0 , the goal from the left of the box about 16 yards out to the far post goes by the keeper, the keeper falls onto his side as per the 1st demo, he does not dive-reach for it just falls onto his side.
