What is already known is that the preset faces won't come along with player from PES2011 to 2012. I don't know about the players with stats.

i dont think base copying will be possible,i think like from pes10 to pes11 if default players are edited(bald austrian rated 50 players) they will copy over as they would still be in the same database if the pes league and d2 is the same with pes 2012 as it is with pes 2011,im lucky i made all my players from scratch in pes 2011 so all of mine will copy over

from what ive seen from pc patches (yes i know PS3 is different from PC) pes 2011 face were not transferrable, but hair was.

Yeah, dont bother with this, it wont work, I had a full bundesliga in my pes 2011 OF, I had raul base copied and assigned to schalke 04, when I transferred the file to pes 2012, raul wasnt in my created schalke.

the created players are there and they have their stats automatically converted, but their preset faces are gone. There's also the problem of players who have preset faces in 2012. If you transfer your edited face to 2012, it will overwrite a preset face, and you will have to default edit them. For instance, I edited Chris Smalling in 2011, and he has a preset in 2012. I had hit the default button for him. The problem is not all players you edited in 2011 have a preset in 2012, so if you hit the default button, you will lose your edited work.

if you check in Cameroon NT in your game, you'll see Eto'o with his respective preset face, so it's not necessary to copt it.

I think they are slightly different. I haven´t played the Demo, but while skimming through the Seria A just now I also looked at the preset face list Chilli has posted (which was based on the Ultimate Editor) and there are differences (like Viviano being at Bologna in the Demo, he is now at Inter). Though the squads are still pretty outdated...

Does anyone actually have a list with the missing transfers in PES 2012 (at least the most important ones like Cesc)? Because I want to do them myself, as I have a self created OF with Buli 1+2. And because of this, I can't apply the offical Konami Transfer-DLC (when it comes out) because this will screw my edited data up (or am I wonrg?). So no need to wait for the DLC for me...

There are 3 lists published on WE Official site, naming
a) players transferred from one club to another
b) players who went to a club not integrated in the game (need to be base-copied)
c) players who will be new after the DLC

The players' names are often spelled incorrectly, but as it is a Japanese site, that's no surprise and one can recognize players by their position.
Nationalities seem to be partly incorrect, too.

I'll tell you why: it's because you can not copy them manually, so the system get all stats from other players of 2011 and apply on players of 2012.

For example: Lucas from Liverpool has overall of 72 in PES2011 and in PES2012 he has 80.

For example: Lucas from Liverpool has overall of 72 in PES2011 and in PES2012 he has 80.

To be fair that is more due to an update in the way they rated CMF/DMF's, I remember that in pes 2011 if a player in that position wasn't really good at dribbling and technique he had low stats which doesn't fit with reality, if you look at Lucas he is average in both of those so was rated lower before, that's a good move from konami IMO.
Big problem with importing players is that they're all injury 3 and their feet position is sometimes skewed if they were wide players.

I tell what I do with this information:

I want to do the swiss league, so therefore I basecopied Arizmendi which was mentioned on one of these pages before as well as any other player who is likely to get lost with an update (e.g. Hakan Yakin who doesn't play for Switzerland anymore). Because I have basecopied those players I will not suddenly have missing players in my swiss teams.

P.S.: I'm talking basecopying in PES2012 not the old one

As far as I know, when the dlc arrives and you choose to leave the team-lineups as they are, all the players that would be out of the game will stay, while those who would be new in the game appear in the "Other-players" section (at least that´s what happened in PES 2011). So like that no player would be lost, though you would have to do all transfers yourself.

Anyway, here are some more Presets, that would be lost after the dlc:

Downloading new content makes me a little uneasy, is there any chance I might lose all my editing I did? I know there come up some questions but I don't remember them... One is therefore not to overwrite the OF, isn't it?

I'd appreciate if someone could make kind of a tutorial on how to update the game without losing data!

Let's Export Teams with all copied players.

It's easier to do that:

you can get a fake team and register all copied players there, later doing this, next step it's IMPORT...


I have US Version and I copied guys like, Stockdale, Salcido, Niang, Bougherra, Leto, Cribari, El Hamdaoui and others, but after DLC I lost Lanzini, Jô and Boumsong and I interest on them.

I'm few hours, I will export my team...
