Off The Ball control HELP !

Hey guys, been trying to get the Off The Ball control perfected...

It says press down on "R3" which is the Right Analogue stick, so once you press down on it, then it states using "R" select player, which is the same Right Analogue stick isn't it ?

Been looking at videos to explain it properly but can't find anything, its a bit tricky when you don't know exactly how it works :(

It took me a while to work it out too, what you do is flick the stick the direction of the player you want and click R3 thus selecting that player. Its not entirely clear as you don't know who you've selected until you click R3! I tried to select Gareth Bale off the ball but because William Gallas was nearby I got him instead. Would be nice to have a cursor to make it more obvious who we are selecting.

Cheers Sminky, so basically do you press down on Right Analogue first then use the same Right Analogue to select the player ?

Or do you use the Right Analogue stick to select the player then press down on Right Analogue ?

Its like this.
1. Point the right analog stick to the person you want to make a run with.
2. Click the R3 Button(Right analog stick)to initiate run for that player.

Yeah it is pretty annoying when it selects a different player. I also noticed you cant initiate multiple runs. Some sort of inidication like sminky said would be helpfull

I push the R3-stick towards the player and press it simultaniously, and they run. My problem is controlling them. The video shows that you can control the other player, but when I use R3 they just run in a straight line.. :-/ I try to move the R3-stick around, but nothing's happening.. Maybe its because I point and press the stick at the same time, I'll try the method you described later and see if it works when I do that instead.. :-P

You need to make sure that u have ur settings set to manual.
You can find it somewhere in button configuration.
That way you control the player and can run anywhere u want instead of straight lines only.
