1. Games should mean something - besides just winning or losing money. There needs to be something to play for. For example, every 20 games you play is a season. 45 points or more gets you promoted. 20 points or lower gets you relegated. Once promotion or relegation is secured, or you can no longer be promoted or relegated, the season is automatically over, and you start the next season.

2. At this point, all of your players should age 1 year. Their stats should either increase or decrease based on age. Once they reach retirement, they should start over on your club at the age of 17. Every player in the game should have a pre-determined rating at every age from age 17 until retirement.

3. Also, you should only be allowed to make transfers before the start of each season, and after 10 games, the mid-point of each season.

4. Keep the ML open cups and Division cups going on daily, but how about a weekly Champions League (or Cup). This cup is only eligable to people that have been promoted(or achieved 45 points or more at the highest level) at least once during the last month.

how do you legislate for casual gamers vs obsessed gamers?

I play maybe once or twice per day (on average), therefore my season would take me like two weeks to finish a season. So it'll take me like one week before i can make any new transfers. So it'll take me like two weeks before my young up and coming stars progressed.

Compare that to those who get to play 5 games per night: their season is over in four days top. They get to make transfers after a couple of nights of playing. They get to make more transfers after another couple of nights. Their young players will improve after 5 days...

You get the idea? Good concept, but evetually a flawed plan.
