Ive been experimenting with the import/export feature, and it will be quite useful.
I moved Fernando Gago from Real Madrid to Sporting Braga, then exported this team.
Copied the file to another account in my ps3, played pes2012 for the 1st time in said account, went to edit mode and imported Braga.
You have to pick a serie of options like transferring everything or only, emblems or kits or squad, etc.
Everything transferred: emblem, kit pngs, squad (including Gago), formations, etc.
Since Gago was still at Madrid in this account, I went to Madrid to see if he was still there, but the game moved him to Braga when I copied the team.
Then I deleted the Braga files from both accounts, and the editings stayed the same.
This will make the option file transferring process much easier.
After all, Jon Murphy was right...

Does this indicate that if option file makers use export it becomes a faster process for everyone to import later? seems so but a little unsure.
reminds me of being able to share stadia in 2011 if creators export their stadium instead of just keeping it resident in the Edit file.
as sidebar for anyone reading: if any luck importing material from 2011, such as national kits, please post the steps in in a thread as a guide; it would be much appreciated. I am going to try a bit over the weekend myself.

this sounds like a very usefull option.
correct me if i'm wrong but:
With this option you will be able to export a self created team (with players, kits, roster and everything else). The file that is exported is one file and you can share this file with others. And those others only have to import this one file?
I'm curious what will happen if you import a team with self created players in it (will those players also appear in the created player section)
Hey there, i've also tested this feature, because my plan was to use my own OF, but to avoid the work of creating kits for EPL, Liga zon Zagres etc.
It's right that you can export the teams and that you can re-import them to another account. There (the other account) you can choose only to import Emblem and kits.
So everyone can create the EPL very easy, if someone (who has already corrected kits and emblems) would export all 18 missing EPL teams and put them online to download. So everyone can have this teams very fast without loosing their own created OF.
Very useful feature in my eyes. Will speed up the creation of Nextgen-Patches very much.
My english isn't perfect, but I hope it is clear what I mean
P.S.: I've tested the import feature with a created player in the team
1. created a player on "created players page 3, last slot"
2. registered him to a fantasyteam in the PES League
3. exported the team
4. cpoied the team to another account
5. imported the team there over the same team
6. created player is in the team too, but the editor put him on the first free slot in the "created players pages", so he isn#t longer on page 3
Perfect feature for me. So I can pick the things from the various EU OFs I want , whitout having to import the whole thing. :)

Yeah, the real value of this feature is that you can now copy an OF partially.

Ok, here is what happend:
- Export of team with custom kit and Emblem (==> Result is one file)
- Import on other account
- Everything is there (Teamname, Emblem, Kits, Players, Stats)
The exported emblem was put automatically on the first free of the 51 emblem slots and the kit-pngs are as usually in the gamedata folder.
So you could describe the Export-file as a sort of packed Archive (like rar or zip files) and after unpacking them at the new account the files are there as they were before on the other account
So we still have to deal with the 51 slots

suker09, can we pick which teams to base copy ?
I dont want to base copy around 10 teams from my pes 2011 file.
all the relegated teams, etc.

I'm not sure if I understand the second sentence of your post right.
First: You can choose which teams you want to base copy, but it is recomended (through the editor) to use them at the other account on the same team.
Is it right that first you want to import an 2011 OF into 2012 and then base copy some teams to import them to another 2012 OF?
If yes, this should be no problem...
After reading throught your post again I think i figuered out what you mean: :D
No you cannot choose more than one team at the time. So you must go through the export/import process 10 times for copying 10 teams.

Suker09, have you tried to import a team without a slot available for the emblem?
If yes, what happened? One other emblem auto-replaced? Asked for replacement?
Or did not import just the emblem? Or team?
Thanks

What I really want to know it its impossible to import/export files from a different bles code. Mine is 01407 and I new that German/Spanish/French/Italian/Portugese version are 01408...
Im not at home right now but i'll be more than happy to export one of my creations to another user with a different bles code than mine..

Ok, I've tested it:
If all 51 slots are in use and you want to import another team with a custom emblem then the editor informs you that there are no slots left and that the new bitmap can only be applied if the user choses to overwrite an existing one. Next screen you can chose which existing emblem to "Overwrite"
That's it...
This "emblem"-thing bothers PS3-Users since the first nextgen-installement of the series. Lazy Konami.... :realmad:
Noooo!! not this bless thing again!!:realmad:.. i really hate this region thing!! Plzzzzzzzzzzz i hope not!!
I'm also very curios to see if it's possible to use Exportdatafiles (not the whole OF) from other bles versions...
***Edit:
ok, from what I've tested so far, it shouldn't be possible to use Exported Teams from another bles-Version. Because the export data uses already the bles-version in the file name. So I think there is a difference between the different versions.
But to be absolutely sure i've uploaded a team that I've created to test the export-function. The Export-file contains Emblem, Kits, etc.

Maybe someone (who has not the EU PES Version BLES01408) can download it and try to import it to his OF.

so, for example, if I create now in my option file teams of the Liga Adelante in the D2 League (the spanish second division) and then I download the Deymos OF (that will erase my teams of D2 League), the solution is export my teams and then import?? will this work?

Yes, it should work
1. Create your league D2-Teams
2. export all 18 Teams one by one
3. Download prefered OF and use it
4. import the 18 Teams again and apply them optimally (not a must) on the team slots they were before

Sorry Guys,
as Suker09 expected, importing/exporting files form a different Bles code is impossible.
It's a really sad day for me. I was hoping it will be much easier this year but It turns out to be harder at the end.
I'm currently working on OF for 01407 Bles code. still missing a lot of stuff to complete it. plus it will take me some time to finish it as I almost dont have free time.

I believe that is right. I am not sure if we had this export feature in previous versions. If we did I never paid attention. In fact, even with the feature I am not taking advantage of it. I should had prequeled NPower, then exported it. I guess I still could but have to reload all the kits for Npower from 2011 becuase I deleted them all.

what all the people dind't realise you have to copy all the files from one or several OF one by one like the years before, so Jon Murphy was NOT right. and if you want to delete files you must do them one by one too. i don't understand how hard it is to add the option "chose all/copy all/delet all" to the PS3 menu. sure it is is helpful to import one parts of a OF to the OF you are prefering but switching the accounts you use is a little bit complicating and that konami only gave us 51 slots for emblem is just silly.

Basically it should work like you expect it to.
If done several tests with the import/export feature.
If you import teams from one OF (let's say your Russion League OF) and there the teams are created over the PES League, and then you import them over the portugese league on another OF then you do not overwrite the portugese players there.
You use the players from the PES League. That means the PES League teams loose all their players after import because they are transfered to yur newly created russian league. So the editor chooses random free players from NTs to fill up the slots on the PES Teams.
So be aware that after importing the created russian teams to your OF there could be a little mess, because the portugese players are all moved to free agent players section.
Sorry, i'm a bit in a hurry, but I hope it's clear what I mean.
If anyone has questions about this, please ask. I've done hardly nothing but testing this feature the last days, because I'm in creating my own OF and use some parts of already existing OFs...

Please someone help me understand this import/export feature. Let's say we have these three separate OF (The bit in red is a template):
Region|Name of File|Name of League Created Over
*Features
US|Base Option File|N/A
*BPL|Correct Kits|Correct Emblems|Correct Player Names|
*Serie A|Correct Kits|Correct Emblems|Correct Player Names|
*Liga ZON Sagres|Correct Kits|Correct Emblems|Correct Player Names|
*National Teams|Correct Kits|Correct Emblems|Correct Player Names|
*Liga BBVA|Licensed
*Ligue 1|Licensed
*Eredivisie|Licensed
*Other European Teams|Licensed

US|Bundesliga Option File|PES League
*Bundesliga|Correct Kits|Correct Emblems|Correct Player Names|
US|nPower Championship Option File|D2 league
*nPower|Correct Kits|Correct Emblems|Correct Player Names|
Now, lets say I download the base OF and upload each single file to my main account one-by-one. Also the features included in the base OF are absolute (meaning no changes has been made to the D2 League or the PES League).
Now lets say I want to add the nPower Championship to my Base OF that I originally downloaded. After I download the nPower OF from my laptop, would I upload this OF to my main account or my dummy account? And if I upload it to my dummy account, does that mean I have to insert PES2012 while in my dummy account, export all the teams, go into my main account, insert PES2012 again, and import the exported teams from my dummy account while in my main account?

Yes, thats exactly the way it should work. :)
- Always use the OFs from which you want to copy teams on a dummy account
- Export the teams you want
- Copy the exportfiles from your dummy account to your main account - Load the game on your main account and import the exportfiles to your optionfile
And as you posted, the fact that you want to use to leagues that aren't created over the same PES League (<==>D2 League) there should none to little problems during the import.

If some things are observed, you could avoid the most "problems" (if one will call them so)
So if you import new teams, it's best you import them over the team that they were created of. Then 99% of the imports will be fine.
If you want to import the newly created team over another team then the following things happen:
Example: Team "Dynamo Moskwa" was created over PES League Fantasy Team "Cantlesirspor" in an OF. There Moskwa was exported and then imported to your own OF.
- Import of Moskwa over Cantlesirspor ==> Everything will be fine
- Import Moskwa over another team (for example WE United):
==> The players of Cantlesirspor will be moved to WE United and then changed to the Moskwa-players and their stats and looks.
==> The players of WE United are moved to "Free agent".
==> And because of Cantlesirspor now has not enough players, their rooster will be randomly filled up with free agents and free NT-Players.
Further Info: Sometimes if you import a team over another some players don't have their "clone" on the new OF (because of various reasons). Then the editor chooses randomly a player which he will overwrite. At this step you could check which player will be overwritten and change the player if needed.
That's it. ;)
I hope it's clear what I wanted to say, as my english isn't the best...

from what I am learning from other posters, and am going to try tonight with NPower - on another account import pes2011 Fegueroa as prequel data, then export the 2012 Figeuroa, copy Figeuroa to your regular PES account, then import player.
