First I must say that I find the gameplay far superior to FIFA, but there is one thing that bothers me. I've played/simulated through an entire season of master leaague, and I'm quite disappointed with all the high scoring results in the CPU vs CPU matches. 3-3, 4-3, 5-2 etc I think is the most common results and I have never seen a goalless match in the whole season, how realistic is that?? I know It's just a video game but I want it to be as realistic as possibly!'

Is anyone else bothered by this?

I noticed this aswell, when i simulated one season in ML, so I have the same experience as you, and I wonder if I create more realistic stats for all clubs if that will help, but i doubt it.

In my simulated season Chelsea finished 1st, fair enough, with 100 points, 127 goals scored and 50 goals conceded, while relegated Swansea scored 56 goals and conceded 87.

Please, does somebody know if it is possible to coup with this.

No because KONAMI is stupid.

Has this been the case in the previous versions of pes? Man, I left FIFA cause I wanted a better single player experince, and what do I get?!

Seriously, not more people care about this? tbh this somewhat of a gamebreaker for me. Escpecially when it comes to ML. I just wish FIFA had PES gameplay, then I would be satisfied... :P

Of course we care, but what do you expect us to do? We're just gonna have to accept it ...

yeah i fully agree which is whwy when i am on the lead i set my strategy to all-out defence and higher defence levels. still cpu are deadly accurate at long shots

Same issue here, the table is realistic(serie a) in terms of positions but far to many goals are being scored in the simulated cpu matches. It really irritates me when konami create problems that weren't their the year before. But at least the standings are realistic and it only seems to effect league games.

Hope KONAMI (or anyone) gets a fix for this. I may just have to stick to Football Manager until then. :|

So the "best defending" team in "BBVA" is Real Madrid with only 64 goal against. Nice....-_-

140 goals in one season, thats a lot even for Barca lol...

Glad to hear more people have noticed this, just hope konami has too and does something about it.

You'd think it'd be different with the anemic offenses in D2, but nope… I'm still simulating matches with 4-1 results. In years passed, 0-0 was a common result for a D2 game. This year, it's a real rarity.

Tbh i belive that this makes the competition you play in more interesting ..and also 99% of the time its the decent teams who score many goals

Gents

Can i ask? What level are you playing/siming the game on? And what is the duration of matches? I found that on pes2011 if you had it set to regular and 5 mins there were not too many goals where as it increaded when on professional and 10 mins games.

superstar, -1 speed and 15 mins as it flows at a better rate and there is more time for comebacks. Professional is great too.
In top player the scripting is just too bad

I have just simulated half a season with 5 minute match time, and the result was positive.

Far more 1-0, 1-1 and 2-1 results, as well as a odd 5-0 result here and there, but overall it was more realistic.

On the other hand simulating 5 minute matches is acceptable, but playing 5 minute matches isn't something I'm even considering, so I have to accept the fact that playing 10 minute matches or more, will result in high scoring CPU matches. At least the table is more or less realistic.

i find as well once the cpu score it feels like your team are playing in custard and so they score again and again etc

Are you kidding me?

Konami cannot win can they

Me along with many players last year and previous years moaned at how the opposition do not score.. ie most goals one in a season was 55.

I am glad that the opposition is scoring freely, its a lot more competitive, it means anything can happen and its not boring.

In pes2011 i would hardly lose, i kept turning the difficulty up and i would rarely lose.. I could easily get 2-3 goals but hardly ever concede. I would mainly concede though penalties and that was why i would usually lose.

I am happy that is more competitive and that they score more.. it makes the games immense

Yeah, unrealistic.

in top player last year the scored too much goals especiallyy from corners and anyway cruefan you were saying that a cpu team scored 55 in a season. this is because when a cpu team verses a cpu team, the result is automatic so its not them scoring goals, its the crap programming.
Also when you're versing a cpu team, they don't porbably score more goals because of the difficulty. Top player they score realistically. Professional they score realsitically. Regular, amateur and beginner they attack like idiots and never even score and pass it back.
Also on professional with me they score more than they do on top player as it becomes rushed and arcadey
