can you start in portuguese league

i know you can't choose from the start but i've tried so many times and started with clubs in every league except portuguese league.. is it not going to happen?? if its not then whats the point adding portuguese league??
also, why change the way it start its annoying too :realmad:

You can. My prototype player (created to just try out BaL) started in Rio Ave FC. My next player again started in Rio Ave FC.

Oh I don't know, to PLAY there?

I played half a season at Benfica. It was awesome.

Would've stayed much longer if PSG hadn't been so interested.
