Hi folks,
I'm on PS3 and using a scottish prem option file for BLES 1406 (uk).
However there's another different OF coming out soon that I want to switch to.
My question is - do I have to wipe all the old additions and lose all my progress (effectively doing a clean install) or can I just get the new file(s) and install them?
Thanks
Dave

its the edit data that categorises the files to their correct slots. so once you overwrite your old data, and download the new I assume the files from your old OF will no longer be in game. but tbh i have never tried and i normally just delete the 400 odd files in preperation for a new OF. Although I had another idea get another account on your PS3 and download the new OF to that user?

Hmmm ok....
I'm just fed up trying an option file...playing a few games and unlocking some things and then trying another file and starting again from scratch.
So...on PS3 option files are linked to users?
Thanks again!

you will lose all your roster changes. You will have to replace all your uniform data because the correct uniform number has to be associated with the right club jersey.
You will lose your stadium data; export those so you can import them later.
You will retain your season/league file; I don't know about master leagues but if your rosters change I imagine it could become scrambled.
You will retain all system file data such as personal assist settings.
