Great idea this. I'm pretty useless at doing this kind of thing and it was incredibly frustrating seeing all the quality face scans that I didn't know how to use. :lol:
EDIT: Might be worth including a link to the original post for the face scans to save time for people.

1 Load the facescan
2 Go to Colour Adjustment
3 Go to Skin colour.
4 Select the most appropriate of the 6 default skintones
5 Adjust picture colour accordingly to fit skin colour.
When you've played around with that for a bit you should practice adjusting the skin colour manually (Just don't go any whiter than the default white or they'll look like zombies)

Ok, well at least you're trying. These things just take practice.
Like before, select one of the 6 default skin colours and select it.
Now go to the 3 colour (+/-) modifiers. Basically, these work in much the same way as any other colour selector in the game (like kits, hair colour etc).
For example, if all 3 are set to +1, the facescan will be white. If they are all set to -1, the scan will be black. The trick is to find a colour for the facescan that matches the skin.
EG; If the face scan is for a white player, but the scan looks very dark against the skin, try putting all the colours to +0.50. If it now looks very red against the skin, reduce the red to +0.40. If it looks too blue, adjust the blue level.
It is a very long process at first, but you will get it.
PS; I like to get the contrast set before adjusting colour. Try to get the eyes, nose and mouth to look realistic before changing colours.

BTW, The Wijnaldum face is quality. Looks like the real thing in game.

About the Sporting faces you only make face scans w/formulas or you can also make the faces on the Pes 12 edditing base process without pic-face-scans?
If you could make those faces like Maquiavelo or Adam13 or edgar12 make I will be happy the same way...
