I fear that Konami will end up losing the football gaming crown eventually as there game is not evolving enough.

old aspects have to be changed.

The narrowmindedness of international vrs club why cant they have both running at the same time for example like other games.
while you play club football players could be called upto the national sides and so much more like you could be offord jobs etc.

Westham still in game apparently that seriously is a complete joke. (still on a joe cole trip).

Other games are catching up.
If anyone played total world soccer 2003/ this is football 2003.
If they master the gameplay it will kick konamis ass as the career mode was so cool you had millions of players to choose from on the transfers market and every league and competition was so accurate they evan had the scottish premier league split for example and euro tournaments.

the game is the closest thing to SWOS so far and lets face it.
SWOS with winning eleven gamplay and graphics is what everyone wants.

Konami concentrate to much on hair and boots come on get the managment side of things sorted out.

actually, I had World Tour Soccer 2003, and I traded it in for WE6:I when it came out in March. The rosters were out of whack completely (I know, because I took the job of renaming every club team in the game to their real life counterpart.) I looked at the rosters for all the smaller leagues and teams (excluding La Liga, Premier, Serie A, etc) by looking at the websites, and at most, the teams had one or two players that actually played for them........it will never beat WE...

That is cause the game was a copy of the european game just like how the winning eleven international players are all wrong too.
i done the same traded it in but you have to admit with the competition structures leaugues and cups the game isnt far off.

If online play is announced for FiFa 2004, i think Konami will have to do something fast, especially if FiFa continues to improve like last year.

Online has been announced for FIFA2004...just a matter of if it will be stats only or play. But Konami surely has to at least follow suit? TIF2004 will be network play ready as part of Sony's launch into online play.
