Signing Copa liberdatores players in ML

Hey guys so in order to sign Copa players do i have to base copy them into any other league like last year or what? because when i use the "other" search function i dont see the players i want to sign ex: Rodolfo from Gremio

You can't..you have to put them in a european team

Maybe it also works if you nominate them for national team (if that is even possible with Copa players).

Yes it is..The players that play for the national team are ingame in ML...Neymar and Ganso for example

You cant nominate them though...so u basically have to base copy them to any other league before starting ML..which sucks

Of course not unlimitedly, because each national team has max 23 players, so you'd need to swap players (reject/nominate). But I think you'll need to do that before start of ML.
You can't nominate a player if his national team doesn't exist. In that case you can edit the player and change his nationality ^^ Better to trade him to a european team imo.

And there, yes, you'd go to Brazil NT, choose Marcelo and replace him with someone else. That rejects him from NT and nominates the other one. "Base copy on him" may be the wrong term here^^
Although that might also be possible through the usual team-edit menu.

You don't base copy anything, you just go on national team selection then on Brazil and click on marcelo. When you click on him, a list of other brazilian players will come up like Ganso or ronaldo or roberto carlos and press on roberto carlos so he will be registered to the brazil national team. He will then appear on Master League when you start it, he will play for other

Base copied Gilberto to a npower champ club

And i think about 10 others but those are the ones i remember. I tweaked Ronaldo's physique so that he looks more like he did in his prime too haha :blush:

Why is Roberto Carlos so overpowered- at his prime he was the best left-back but know he still is at this age?

example go to create new player base copy roberto carlos into new player giving you roberto carlos at the start of ML in free agents no need to sign to eurpean team

holy shit sorry for not responding sooner been really busy...so the trick is to create a new player from scrath then use base copy function and copy the player u need example(Neymar, Ganso, Ronaldo, R.Carlos) you will now have a duplicate of that player only now it will appear as free agent in ML or in the Created Players section forget which one

I thought about this.

I was going to see if I could unlock all the classic players, then base copy over them with a load of COPA players that wouldn't appear in ML. Then all you'd have to do is switch classic players on, in ML menu and in theory, instead of George Best etc..., all classic players would be players from the COPA teams.
