Need help with selecting leagues?

Hi guys. I am playing with Man United in the Npower Chamionship League. I didn't managed to get promoted to the first division. The problem however is that teams like Basikstas, Anderlecht and another none premier league team got relegated into the Npower Championship. I tried to start a new master league just see the options available, but it seems the only option you have is to select the team you want to play with and not the league. Am I missing something. I want to start in championship/npower and get promoted to the english premier league. How does one do that?

P.S. It also seems you can't have the original players line up e.g. Rooney and co. and start in the Npower Championship....???? In order to start in the Npower championship you must start with the Ordaz and co....????? Can anybody please confirm this?

Were talking offline right? If it's true you have to unlock the feature to get the real line up. It costs 100 gp. Ten offline matches or 2 online matches will do the job.

Regarding choice of league: You can only select the desired division 1 as far as i've experienced. But i don't know if anyone has changed the leagues in some OF's or something like that.

When you select the team, you can choose which actual league to play in. For instance, I chose Liga BBVA, and it said

'Choose which league to participate in

Division 1 Division 2'

Choose Division 2, you are in D2 and you'll win promotion to Liga BBVA. Choose Division 1, you'll automatically be in Liga BBVA

This is a step by step procedure i am following to select a team in order to start a master league;

1. Football Life
2. New
3. Welcome to Football Life where you can witness the joys of the Beautiful game from
totally different perspectives.
4. Selection Personal Data
5. Master League : You will take out your place in the dugout as the club's manager.
Your main roles will be to build the ideal club through devising winning strategies
and acquiring the players who will enable this. ( Here you may select to play either
"Master League" or "Become a Legend")
6. General Settings e.g. Match level,match time etc.
7. A cut scene follows where you get introduced to a board member.
8. Enter you name
9. Nationality
10. Choose appearance
11. Face and Hair style
12. Next up you either chose to start wit:h
First Option;
Master League Original Lineup:
Start the game with the Master League Original Lineup. The lineup will be the
same regardless of which team you choose.
Second Option:
Club Team Lineup
Start the game with full squad of each club at your disposal.
13. Select Team: (This is where you select which team you want to play with)
Barclays Premier League,Ligue 1,Campionato Italiano etc.

What i have found is that if your selecting any team from the Npower Championship you get the option to choose in which league to play in. But if you chose like in my case Manchester United you don't get the option to select a league, instead once you selected Man United the game takes you directly to a cut scene where you get introduced the the chairman.

P.S. Perhaps this has something to with the option file one is using....???

This sucks- it seems you cant start in the Npower Championship league with the Club line up e.g. Rooney and Co. In order to be able to start with a club like Man United in the Npower Championship you have/ must chose to play with the Master League Original Line up
