Just wanted to know whether playing for certain teams will aid the development speed of my player? I am 19 and have an overall rating of 75.

Would playing for a team like Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Barcelona increase the speed my overall rating goes up by over playing for teams like Everton, Fulham, Newcastle etc? Or does the team you play for make little difference. I know they each have their own styles like physical, passing, speed etc. but is there a substantial difference in how my player will develop?

Each team has a number of focus points that you can apply to your player, on top of the standard ones you start with. The better the team, the more points you get, think it goes from 7-8 points to anything up to about 16-17 points for the top teams.

So obviously, the more points you get to assign to each focus area, the faster your player should develop

You have a decent rating for your age so you could try to add big clubs to your "desired clubs" list and subsequently perform well during the match they scout you.
In this way I got a contract with AC Milan which will be finalized at the start of the next season. From what I've read online, it's best to find a top club as soon as possible, but keep in mind that you might not be fielded every time.
