I had enough of PES 2012 after 2 weeks of playing it. I'm going back to PES 2011 which I have been playing for the past 20 months. What's with the completely different gameplay from PES 2011?
Maybe I'm just too used to PES 2011 but everything about PES 2012 is just different from all the PES I've played before. Almost every player on the opposition can skip pass tackles like they were Lionel Messi's brother or as himself. I'm just getting very very frustrated at the awful gameplay. Played almost 30 games now and still barely being able to score a goal because of the 'super' AI defending. I see a lot of people complaining about the GK's but I don't seem to have any problem with the goalies apart from tipping over tame shots over the bar..
The dribbling is very much improved compared to PES 2011 but IMO contradicted with the new defending system where 2-3 defenders gang up on you and follow you all over the pitch like you were Scarlette Johansson in bikini.
I'm just very disappointed with the whole thing altogether. The packaging seems really nice with all the nice animations and graphics but the gameplay just let's me down.. I've really no idea what should I do when PES 2013 comes out. Maybe they will revamp the whole game again. Changing everything you have learned from previous games..
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the penalties as well. Why the heck to they want to change the penalty system every year??? Is it that important? And I have to look at the command list every time I play PES. That is just plain annoying and not enjoyable.
Sorry for the long post but I just had to let you all know about how I feel about this game. Hopefully they can get it right somewhere in the near future when I'm still interested in gaming. :no:
