A total of 9 managers finalised deals for 17 goalkeepers, with David de Gea commanding the greatest fee and also subject to a total of 5 bids from rival clubs. Joe Hart, Petr Cech and Wojciech Szczesny also each secured their places in the fantasy league in deals worth more than £10m in each case.

Managers again dug deep into their pockets during section two of the PESGaming Fantasy Football League transfer window, with well over £200m paid out on defenders from around the Premier League.
Nemanja Vidić was the single most expensive outlay, costing Appsletico Madrid CF over £17m, while Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany unsurprisingly was the subject of no fewer than eight bids, with Sporting Vieil Homme tying him down to a one-year contract for a price of £16.5m.

Over £150m was spent on just 26 players as the PESGaming Fantasy Football League managers again showed their willingness to spend big to land their top targets.
Clinical front-men Papiss Cissé, Wayne Rooney and Sergio Agüero fetched the highest fees with three clubs shelling out almost £50m to sign the trio.
A total of fourteen clubs managed to secure a deal for at least one player, with only FC Sklep Guardiola successfully negotiating for three players. Conversely, the previously-big spending PAO FC were perhaps left to rue their early financial lucidity as they were outmuscled in the transfer market and unable to make a single signing.
Comprehensive breakdown of all transfers from section 4 (bidding period 18th-19th July):
Wayne Rooney --> Club Universidad de Hounslow (£16.7m)
Papiss Cissé --> Iron City United (£16.4m)

http://www.cleansheetsallround.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/Pepe-Reina-Liverpool-2012-150x150.jpg
Pepe Reina was perhaps the most notable absentee on a day when the league managers finally showed some restraint after a big-spending opening week or so.
The Spaniard shot-stopper's future remains unresolved as his transfer saga drags out into a third window. It is understood that both PAO FC and Team Zissou are still battling it out for his signature, with the Liverpool 'keeper keen to have his future resolved within 48 hours.
PAO FC fans will be particularly worried should they fail to land Reina, as they saw their manager again fail to secure a deal for any other goalkeeper - the only club in the league without a recognised shot-stopper at this point.
They were not alone in failing to capture any signings, however - he was joined by Iron City United, Norfolk Enchance, Club Universidad de Hounslow and Newco MMW - albeit the latter having filled their goalkeeper quota in the previous bidding window.
At the other end of the spectrum, the league's biggest spenders were S.S. Phatzio, who parted company with £9.5m to secure two goalkeepers and fill their quota, while Real Cairo paid the biggest single fee of any club, tying down Asmir Begović for £8.2m.
Steve Zissou also plundered the goalkeeping market successfully at the second time of asking, much to the relief of the club's fans who had previously expressed their angst. The new man at the helm will be hopeful that his £7.9m capture of experienced American Brad Friedel will have appeased the club's faithful.
Comprehensive breakdown of all transfers from section 5 (bidding period 21st-22nd July):
Asmir Begović --> Real Cairo (£8.2m)
Brad Friedel --> Team Zissou (£7.9m)
Anders Lindegaard --> S.S. Phatzio (£6.5m)
David Stockdale --> FC Sklep Guardiola (£4.1m)
Heurelho Gomes --> Sporting Vieil Homme (£3.2m)
Ben Amos --> Appsletico Madrid CF (£3m)
Costel Pantilimon --> Eboue's Army (£3m)

Kieren Westwood --> S.S. Phatzio (£3m)
Thomas Sørensen --> Makabi Haifasure (£3m)
Ross Turnbull --> 11 Devils (£3m)
Doni --> Team Rocket (£3m)
Hung auction - resolved.
Both PAO FC and Team Zissou had equal top bids of £14.9m for Pepe Reina. Those two clubs will need to conclude the bidding for this player via PM between themselves to determine the winner. If the bidding is not concluded and confirmed to me, also via PM (not in this thread), by the end of the next bidding stage (section 6 - defenders), the player will return to the market and neither club will win him.
Pepe Reina - unattached to PAO FC for £15m, with Team Zissou having first option on future PAO FC sale(s).

A busy 48-hour period of transfer dealing which saw every league club tie up a deal for at least one player each was punctuated by Laurent Koscielny's move to Eboue's Army for £12m.
The other big deal of the day saw Rio Ferdinand secure a move to S.S. Phatzio, after rejecting terms with Egyptian-owned Real Cairo.
Brede Hangeland's future continues to be unresolved, however he is understood to be weighing up a number of offers, with big-spending PAO FC likely to battle it out with frugal Norfolk Enchance for the colossal Norwegian.
Eboue's Army were unsurprisingly the biggest spenders, although manager George Bamfield will feel an outlay of £21m which secured him four new signings - including Koscielny - is smart business.
At the other end of the scale, cash-strapped Appsletico Madrid and 11 Devils found only £6m to spend between them, each securing one player each.
Perhaps the biggest news of the summer thus far, however, was Norfolk Enchance manager Robert Berry finally hearing the fans' cries for a big signing and he plunged into his pockets to the tune of £4.8m to beat Appsletico Madrid to the signature of youngster Nathaniel Clyne.
Comprehensive breakdown of all transfers from section 6 (bidding period 24th-25th July):

Chelsea pair Oscar and Frank Lampard commanded the biggest fees on a period of bidding which saw clubs continue to strengthen and bolster their midfields before the big kick off. The pair were snapped up for a combined fee of approximately £25m on a day which saw a total of 26 transfers finalised.
All-but-one club secured deals for at least one player, with Egyptian-based 11 Devils the only team not concluding any deals.
Greek club PAO FC were the biggest spenders, splashing out £16.3m on no fewer than three players, however despite their expenditure, it was Norfolk Enchance who were the busiest, wrapping up deals for all four players the club made bids for.
Following a recent trend, the future of Swansea hotshot Scott Sinclair remains undecided, with the young Englishman said to be weighing up offers from both Eboue's Army and Iron City United, believed to be in the region of £8m.

http://soccer-magazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/danny_welbeck-150x150.jpg
The eyes of the footballing world tuned in to see the resolution to the protracted saga of England international Danny Welbeck, who was the biggest deal on a day which saw 13 managers dig deep to add firepower to their squads as the big kick-off approached.
Favourites for his signature, Makabi Haifasure, however, failed to land their man with the talismanic striker opting instead for the established Iron City United.
Iron City were indeed the day's biggest spenders, strutting their financial muscle and along with Sporting Vieil Homme and Team Zissou accounted for over half of the transfer fees and almost a quarter of players to change hands.
Across Manchester, City duo Carlos Tévez and Mario Balotelli also commanded big fees and will be seen as great captures by Sporting Vieil Homme and Team Zissou respectively.
It is at Iron City United, however, that fans must be licking their lips at a forward line that will include both Senegalese hitmen Papiss Cissé and Demba Ba, Manchester United duo Danny Welbeck and Javier Hernández as well as West Brom forward Peter Odemwingie.
At the other end of the scale, increasingly disgruntled fans of 11 Devils again have some small cheer, as their team wrapped up a £6m deal for target man Grant Holt.
It will be Makabi Haifasure, though, who will wonder what could have been as they made no secret of their interest for hot property Danny Welbeck and, failing to sign any other options up-front, their supporters must surely now be looking to the manager to find an alternative solution in attack.
Comprehensive breakdown of all transfers from section 8 (bidding period 30th-31st July):
Danny Welbeck --> Iron City United (£14.3m)
Mario Balotelli --> Team Zissou (£9.8m)

With the season only a fortnight away, managers again showed their shrewdness with every club in the league managing to sign at least one addition to their respective squads during a 48-hour period that saw a total of 33 deals concluded.
The day's biggest spenders were Eboue's Army, with George Bamfield laying out £12.5m - £6.1m of which was invested in securing Aaron Ramsey's signature.
Michael Carrick was the day's most expensive mover, with Newco Midtable Mediocrity Wanderers paying over £6.5m for his services.
Davide Santon, who was expected to conclude a deal to join a PESGaming Fantasy Football League club is said to still be considering offers from both Club Universidad de Hounslow and Real Cairo.

Only 9 clubs completed deals for players on a day that saw a comparatively paltry £78.3m change hands in the PESGaming Fantasy Football League.
Appsletico Madrid CF, Norfolk Enchance and S.S. Phatzio were most active making four signings apiece, with the other six successful managers sharing only 9 transfers between them.
Most-sought-after were James Collins, Liam Ridgewell and Maynor Figueroa - each of whom commanded a fee of just over £5m for their respective services.
In other news, a late bid from Real Cairo for Tomáš Rosický was blocked by the league committee after it was deemed that he was not currently available for transfer. It is understood that no further action will be taken against the club.
Another who is yet to have his future resolved is Emmerson Boyce, with the versatile Wigan defender the subject of two rival offers from Eboue's Army and Team Rocket. As yet, sources say the Barbadan is undecided on his preference.
Comprehensive breakdown of transfers completed during section 10 (5th-6th August):

Both Eboue's Army and Team Rocket had equal top bids of £4.1m for Emmerson Boyce. Those two clubs will need to conclude the bidding for this player via PM between themselves to determine the winner. If the bidding is not concluded and confirmed to me, also via PM (not in this thread), by the end of the next bidding stage (section 11 - midfielders), the player will return to the market and neither club will win him.

As Saturday and the first fixtures of the season loom, teams were looking to fine tune their squads with modest signings at bargain prices. The exceptions to the rule were Real Cairo and FC Sklep Guardiola who paid £12.1m & £10.8m respectively this round.
Real Cairo, splashed a whopping £6.1m on defensive midfielder Alou Diarra from West Ham United and a further £3m a piece on William Gallas and Yossi Benayoun.
FC Sklep paid Liverpool £4.4m for the services of young Uruguayan defender Sebastian Coates, he signed along with Modibo Maiga (£3.4m) and reserve keeper Jan Mucha. Upon signing Coates said to reporters "I look at the players in the squad, Van Persie, Krul, Skrtel and Cazorla and know I made the right choice, this is a team built to win trophies"
Elsewhere only Eboue's Army failed to sign anyone having seen target Ryo Miyachi opt for a move to Greece with PAO FC.
Sporting Vieil Homme continued to plunder QPR as Clint Hill and Jamie Mackie, signed on the dotted line along with the long range cannon that is Jacob Butterfield.

Apologies for double-post, but I feel this is an important one:
Mikkel Andersen has left the Premier League. Newco MMW have been refunded £3m for this player.
No money has been refunded to his previous owner, Team Rocket, as this club transferred away the rights to this player in an earlier deal, involving another player-plus-cash.
Take this to be the blueprint - refunds will only be given to the team who currently own that player. The decision was taken as Team Rocket have effectively already received money for this player in the form of a transfer away from the club and, therefore, any further refund would see them being paid twice for one outbound transfer.
In the case of a player being on loan, that matter will be dealt with if/when it arises.

The ex-Lille duo of Mathieu Debuchy and Joe Cole accounted for well over a quarter of the money spent by the PESGaming Fantasy Football managers over the past 48 hours, with the dawn of 2013 bringing with it a renewed sense of anticipation and spending power in the elite competition.
Personnel changes were certainly the dominant force in a transfer section that saw only a total of 12 deals concluded - with the assets secured shared by just over half of the league's clubs.
The biggest spenders were Iron City United, who spent big to secure defensive reinforcements in the shape of Manchester City's Matija Nastasić and Geoff Cameron of Stoke City, in a combined deal worth over £30m.
Not far behind them were the recently renamed Internazionale Rosso Leone, with visionary manager Adam King sparking a frenzy on the club's forums amongst fans applauding his ambition with the £20m signing of France international Mathieu Debuchy.
The grass, perhaps, does not look quite so green in the pastures of Eboue's Army and Real Cairo, however, with early reactions from their respective faithful suggesting a lack of urgency in the transfer market. Despite the two clubs already parting company with the likes of big scoring Marouane Fellaini and promising youngster Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, the two clubs - both of whom are challenging in the top half of the table - secured the services of only a single player each, neither spending much more than £3m and some change on Ben Davies and Jay Tabb respectively.
Comprehensive breakdown of all transfers concluded in section 1 of the January 2013 transfer window (auction ending 23:59 on 07-01-2013):
Mathieu Debuchy --> Internazionale Rosso Leone (£20m)
Joey O'Brien --> Team Rocket (£18.7m)

Only four clubs moved quickly to secure additional personnel in time for week 22 of the PESGaming Fantasy Football league, in one of the quietest transfer periods to date in the fledgling competition.
Victor Anichebe topped a list spanning only nine names who were signed over the course of the past 48 hours.
The comparatively paltry fee of £9m for the Nigerian target man will be seen as somewhat of a coup for S.S. Phatzio, who were also able to add Hal Robson-Kanu and Billy Jones to their ranks during a transfer period that saw only three other managers bolster their squads.
For the second consecutive auction period, Team Zissou manager Bryan Newell was heavily active, most notably securing the signing of Tottenham full-back Kyle Naughton for £6.8m.

Vegard Forren --> Club Universidad de Hounslow (£3m)
Tied auction:
Both Appsletico Madrid CF and Club Universidad de Hounslow tabled equal bids for Moussa Sissoko.
These two teams have until the end of the January transfer window to conclude negotiations via PM.
Once an agreement has been reached, both parties should PM me with the outcome.

Transfer Deadline Day

Newco Midtable Mediocrity Wanderers smashed the transfer record on transfer deadline day with their capture of Lewis Holtby for a fee approaching £60m, fighting off interest from title-chasing Eboue's Army for the German midfielder.
Not to be outdone, Eboue's Army themselves spent £100m to try and add firepower to their growing title challenge, eclipsing the spend of their nearest rivals Norfolk Enchance and league-leading FC Sklep Guardiola almost three-fold.
A total of 20 deals were struck in the final hours of the transfer window, with a total spend of over £250m with prices inflated and time running out.
Newcomer to England Nacho Monreal - who was the subject of much speculation - opted for Club Universidad de Hounslow, with a fee in the region of £30m understood to be changing hands this evening.
For much of the day, Makabi Haifasure seemed in pole-position to land Luciano Becchio, however their search for a striker continues with cash-rich Eboue's Army proving a more attractive proposition for the front-man. George Bamfield's outfit were reportedly able to just financially outmuscle their rivals, with a lucrative £40m deal finalised with just minutes to spare.
At the other end of the spectrum, spare a thought for Christopher Samba - the man-mountain of a defender was unable to secure a new club in time and will remain a free agent for the rest of the season. It is understood that interest from S.S. Phatzio and Appsletico Madrid CF could have led to a signing, however it is thought the player's financial demands priced both clubs out of completing a deal.

My bad - managed to miss that one.
Steven Whittaker was a £3m signing for Norfolk Enchance. Original post now corrected.

Ok, I've had a couple of PM's from people trying to buy a goalie off me. Apparently the spreadsheet says I own Steve Harper...... I do not.
