Hi,

I can't seem to download the demo form the marketplace.

It says that there's a problem and I need to try again later. I tried it yesterday and today and still no progress...

Status code: 800700E8. The net says it has something to do with the connection, but the connection is fine. I can download any other demo, except for PES... What the...?

it said the same for me yeasterday but after 20 minutes i was able to download it. just give it some time, i think its because of too many people trying to download at the same time.

Ah thank you. U haven't changed anything in ur networksettings? Also, I have internet but no Gold, is that crucial?

Gold shouldn't be the issue. I've had the error before, usually associated with connection to live for downloads. Seems to be a generic code to cover a multitude of possibilities. All I can suggest is reset your router & try again.

I did that 2 times yesterday. I even unplugged my wireless receiver and put an internet cable in the port. Still giving me the same issue...

Argh... :(

I didnt have any problems downloading the demo. Try googling the error code.

The error code is non-specific & just refers to a server access error. Invariably your connection will be fine and you can browse through Live Marketplace without issue, even downloading other things with ease. You just get the error with certain downloads.

If anyone does find specifics (although I'd be really surprised if anyone does), great, please post them here...

Have you tried downloading directly from xbox.com? You have to login and download to your xbox. Here is the link:
