Goalkeepers?

I've been playing PES 2012 and the new demo, and I'm getting annoyed at the goalkeepers. Or more specifically MY goalkeeper.

Is it me or is the human controlled teams goalkeeper completely retarded. It's like he saves 1/10 shots taken at him. And God forbid he ever save a freekick, as opposed to pushing it into the roof of his net...every single time.

On the other side of the coin, the cpu goalkeeper, whilst nowhere near perfect, actually saves stuff, consistently. Has anyone else noticed this? Why is this?

Yes, I listed the same problem in the Impressions thread. My goalie has the agility of a 30 stone teenager and can't even cover his own goal and he gets even worse when you try to rush an attacker.

Lets not even mention the grass cutters (low shots) where he seems totally perplexed by it.

Yeah i agree. The cpu scoring from any free kick is just ridicoulus, (however free kicks seem a lot easier to execute than in pes 2012)

And what's with triangle not helping anymore? - for me it only makes things worse when i rush the keeper out. This has always been extremely helpful and saved my arse hundreds of times during the years :(

The keepers are without a doubt the biggest concern in the demo.

They're retarded, but there reflexes and diving are much better than in 2012, especially Hart and Buffon who at times are superhuman!

That's not particularly promising.

Considering in PES 2012, they decided that instead of fixing the retarded goalkeepers, they'd just nerf the shooting instead, making the majority of them go straight down the sodding middle of the goal.

And even despite this, they still didn't save many of them.
