Probably not. Maybe I'm a bit conservative but I find it a bit much that it's always the US being the good guys and some mad Islamic people being the baddies! But I will wait to see how it develops as I always do this. Bought my PS2 a yr after it came out as the price had dropped £100 and I was sure it wasnt going to be another DC.

Plus also the game is apparently a little simple (graphics and gameplay)

i bought it the day it was released and i must say the best shooter next to Medal of Honour: Frontline...

and as i'm participating in the PS2 betatests for online gaming, i got myself a network adapter to play the game online...nothing beats that...trust me...with the headset on, and a few friends to play with... awesome

it never gets bored as u always have different opponents to play at + u can use strategies

One of the top games this summer/year

So when you shout orders down the headset the other players hear your voice? And vice versa? How does that work without any time delay?

I got the game and the network adapter but aint played socom online yet and equally i iant used headset eitehr but it is a good, hard game imo.

rebushaman u r divided into 2 teams, seals and terrorists (8 on each team) and u can just talk to your teammates, u do not even have to give orders...it's a bit like the x-box live thing...because of the broadband internet connection there's practically no delay...
