In a further move to help control bandwidth on the site, we will be preventing anyone from using Custom Avatars which they upload to our site. You can however continue to use your Custom Avatar if you link to a place where it is hosted away from PESInsight.com. Below is an option for you to upload the image too...

Jeez..It sounds like this New server is a bit crap compared to the old one, with trying to reduce bandwidth :rolleyes: :confused:

I don't particulaly care, I didn't really pay attention to the ads or banners I would rather they be on, than the forums going down every 5mins, What i mean is reducing attachments sizes and Avatars, Would you have done this whatever server you where on?

I think you complain to much Giggsy, I think there are only some several forums which you can upload your own avatar on. Also on a lot of forums Signatures arent allowed. Also a lot of forums dont have custum Avatars. And also a lot of forums arent that stable as PESinsight. I think PESinisght is a very very stable forum, with a great userfriendly. Thats it

Yeah but still, It feels like this forum has been thrown together poorly - It feels a bit scrappy, cos of of all the diffrent changes to it. Hopefully now it stays thw way it is. :)

I'm complaining about all the changes being made, Just needs a few tweaks here and there (smileys look shit) and then it can be left. :)

Well, I have no smilies or icons now, only loads of little white boxes with red x'es in..
Apart from that, the site works fine.
Anyone else with this problem?

Uploaded Avatars enabled again. I have purchased some more bandwidth. The costs are rising! But hopefully it will keep some of you lot happy!

I believe its a problem as explained on the main site to do with your ISP not updating their DNS. Most ISP do this every day, but some ISPs are slower I am told? See if anything changes in a day or so.

I've uploaded my avatar to imageshack but how do I now use it on this site as my avatar? theres nowhere in the user control panel to link to it.
